Paintjob doesn't really seem to line up, but I suppose we'll see soon enough. This month sounds really good, I will doubtless buy a Bandit but the other factions' stuff just sounds like fun as well.

Honestly, you're better off thinking of African references. Bandits were something the Black Hand arranged with the African tribal shaman that were part of the refugees moved onto Corregidor. The shaman picked out the recruits, Black Hand trained and outfitted them.

I think "red haze" it's what's left after using the chest mine.

So just imagine Mr. T cladded in Machete's machetes
I would imagine something more akin to the Vortex SpecOps with a machete.
Remember that they're Black Hand equipped; so topnotch gear.

I's actually 'Red Fury'. Someone on the Infinity Australia facebook group mentioned they spoke to Bostria about the Red Fury weapon, which was shown on one of the new EI units dossier. Bostria said it's like a cross between a Spitfire and a Plasma Rifle. Which sounds all kinds of nasty.
But remember, that was a while ago, and it only took 1 month for a Pulzar to change from a unique Tohaa gun that leaves models not killed in the Targetted state into a large teardrop Nanopulsar.

Eh, personally I find the Hacker to be the profile I use the most. Specialist with all the goodness of an assault hacking device, while the Moran Masai cover FO duty. Apparently some product descriptions were released to a distributor listing it as a 'boarding shotgun' but that could be a vague description of a shotgun, or it could just be a word tacked on to a machete-wielding 'universal proxy'.

But also Scavengers and Irregular , thus a random collection of weapons is still possible. Something I'd actually like to see on the sculpts

Yeeeah...I wouldn't. They might have the "Scavenger" skill, but they still have a base profile that should be easy to recognize.

Tristan228 wrote: I'm wondering how CB will solve that issue. Still fancying the Mr. T look though. In combination with a prowler-ish look and maybe some tribal stuff.
Black Hand operative with the Black Hand going out of their way to hide the fact that these guys are recruited from the tribes=no tribal look or likely even no exposed flesh.
I have this on hand as someone asked if I wouldn't mind sending it to them since they didn't have the Core book or know anyone who had it.
Infinity Core Book; Bandit entry wrote:
Spoiler:
If there ever was a time to call upon these guardian spirits, it was during the massive refugee exodus to the Lazareto module in Corregidor. The appalling conditions of overcrowding, precariousness and misery that caused so much human tragedy and death were also the perfect breeding ground for maras gang culture and an abusive black market. In the face of this, shamans had to broaden the scope of the guardian spirits, training them as thieves to provide for their people, but also as decent fighters capable of keeping the maras gangsters from preying on the weakest members of the tribe. Guardian spirits stole from the gangs and kept them in check, acting as anonymous masked vigilantes capable of killing when necessary. Capable also of dying, in strict adherence to their code of honor: "My life for the helpless." Many young men and women gave their life in this role, but shamans always found someone new to replace them, and so the guardian spirits never faltered. In time, Corregidor became more stable and the living conditions in Lazareto modules improved significantly. Internal issues were replaced by external abuses wherever Lazareto citizens plied their trade as Zero-G labor. But with the workers traveled their guardian spirits, stealing the equipment they were denied or beating up abusive foremen.
Naturally this violent vigilantism caught the attention of Black Hand analysts who, in the ship's spirit of sustainability, chose to repurpose it for their own needs instead of suppressing it. The Mexican General himself made a secret offer to the shamans of the many tribal groups of Lazareto: Black Hand would provide those chosen by the spirit with intensive training and, in return, they would become independent covert operatives, fundamentally deniable assets to the Nomad Military Force. To protect their identity, the project avoided codenames with tribal connotations, choosing instead to refer to them by what they did best, a name that also happened to be an old air force jargon term for confirmed hostiles. Perhaps they realized that the guardian spirit means well only to its own; to outsiders it is nothing but bad news: a genuine bandit and a cold-blooded killer.

That's actually a neat little bit of fluff. So they're like CIA operatives working for Corregidor. Their job sounds similar to the Intruders, though with more of an overt military purpose rather than the Intruders somewhat more defensive role. It sounds like their figures should also have fully enclosed uniforms, something I'm pleased to hear.
The only thing we do know (unless I'm misremembering) about the Maghariba is that it was too heavy in metal and they're exploring options for it to keep the weight down.

The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

Me too!
Is that a rocket launcher she has?
...no?
She's got a YJ styled weapon. Can't tell exactly what as the magazine is removed. She's holding a reload in her other hand.
I really wouldn't bother preordering at this point. Wait until the book comes out, see how badly edited/spellchecked it is and then decide. It's not like they restrict the preorder models to actual preorders anyways.
