I got a box of ork bikes (OK, I bought this myself... kind of typical as I usually end up buying at least some of my birthday gifts and giving them to others to wrap). Mainly though. I got two gadgets that make my Foredom (flex shaft) much more useful. One turns it into a drill press, the other into a lathe of sorts. Both very useful and the lathe already was put to use repairing Thing 1's Tomb Stalker. So while I didn't get much in the way of figures... let's face it... I don't NEED new figures. What I got were some very useful tools that'll get plenty of use in future modeling projects and improve my ability to get things done! Gotta love that!

Show us a picture of the set up. Tools are always needed.
Is Foredom a name brand or a tool description?

Brand name. Here's my set-up from Rio Grande (great US-based jeweler's supply company). I don't know that I have the exact same model. The pedal control is critical as it leaves both your hands free to manipulate the hand piece and the work. Flex Shaft: Drill Press: (you just tuck your hand-piece into the clamps) Keep in mind you can put any kind of grinding bit into the hand piece... so it's not just for drills but anything you want precise control over. "Holder" or half-lathe: (same as above, only you slide it into the styrene block and the vice crimps it tight) These aren't cheap mind you... got the Foredom when I was making jewelry on the side (but professionally). Roughly $450 for all of the above. The drill press is actually quite an investment. You can get the Foredom and bits for about $265. Great tool though. I use it for mundane fine work as well as modeling.

Yes, infinitely variable. It's bloody fantastic! Think of a modern sewing machine with a foot pedal that controls the speed of the needle...

Interesting position for the axe, was at his side before he went to pices on his trip. I wouldnt feel bad if you touched up the metal of the pole part that was all hidden when I painted it.

It's the sang guard axe, with an inverted axe head replacing the wing part, on to of a banner pole. My accomplishment on this dude is actually the legs, which used to belong to a black reach marine.

Amazing looking Raptor Silver - I've been away for a week or two, so I've only just seen it. need to get a move on with your objective marker and skulls then.
Cool Weeping Angel Graven (where's the head from?) - very nice combi-plasma, but it could do with the barrels drilling.
@Glomscient - some cool conversion work on those marines - especially the chainsword.

Well the first wave of important bits have shown up and since I only needed a few of what I ordered I guess its a good time to start swapping again.
Right now I have parts to do some terminators, I might be a little short on powerfists but I have pleny of grey knight parts so I can get kinky in designs. Im not looking for any terminators in return but marines that I can use as deathcompany or some nifty objective markers or battlefield pieces would definatly tickle my fancy.
Soon Ill have parts to make some regular marines as well.
If some pics are requested I will be more than happy to oblige.

Hi Silver,
Sorry for not replying sooner Silver. If you've not already done anything then a painted base is fine and I can add my own basing mix, so it fits in with my other models.
I've finished the objective and servo skulls (they are pretty much ready to go) - I'll post pics when I get the chance.
Cheers Laney
