When I started my Tau, I went with a White and Red Oxide look.

But, now I did this black and Gray digi.

Best one i've seen in person was purple and black. Green and tan work well. generic Tau colors aren't bad. Red always rocks

I agree with Lucid, red is a good direction to go with painting tau. Also adding some gold, or yellow may look cool as well.

Some very cool schemes here.

Personally im goin for a Necron Abyss basecoat on the armour and bestial brown for the cloth.

Then certain parts of the armour will be Icy Blue.

Looks good in theory imo, but cant test it out till monday :(

Since Tau are such good, happy hippies... Hippy Paint scheme! Complete with flowers, pinks, sky blues, light greens, and psychadelic purples.

At first I was like this...

But then I was like whoa this....

I don't know why I changed my mind. But I redid the whole army from turquoise to red. I rather like it the way it is now.
