hello everybody!!
i just bought some bits at the site of modelbits and i would like to know what you're thinking of my idea
so i bought:

- blood angels sanguinary guard legs
- 2 blood angels sanguinary guard shoulder pads, like those winged pad, you know
- forge world mk3 space marine body
- forge world mk3 space marine head
- space marine command squad standard bearer pole ( which i will convert in some kind of spear )
- space marine commander back pack ( i dont know if i will use this one )
- blood angels death company infernus pistol arm
- space marine dark angels knife ( which i will use for the spear )
- blood angels sanguinary guard winged jump pack ( its this or the commander back pack )

ow yeah, i also bought a mystery bag, whit 130 bits in it so i'll maby have some other stuff i could use

so that are the bits i bought, any suggestions and stuff are welcome
and i will post picks when the package is arrived

so i just got the package but 3 of the bits that i wanted aren't inside of it
i didn't recieved the commander back pack, the space marine mk3 head and body
so yeah....

its a bag of 4" to 5,5" full whit a random 130 bits, in my bag are like: a half necron desroyer, some eldar weapons, a horse , space marine bits,.....

i just got a mail back, and it says that a mistake was made and they will sent the bits to me again
so in a couple of days i will have some pics for you!!!

i finally got all the bits, also the forge world bits which i didn't received at the first time

Looks like plaster and sand or something similar.

Nice work on the spear. I think it could use for the blade to be turned 90 degrees so the main blade is facing forwards.

Its an interesting assortment of bits for a nice conversion.

I like the choice of a homemade Halberd/spear over using a NFW.

Those bits all look pretty good in a pile, Im hoping they come together nicely. And a huge for makign a spear, I personally love spears in 40k

okay!! i start painting the body in black and yellow
i like the colour sheme, i never tried it on another model,
so yeah, i hope you like it and stuff

the stuff is called epoxy repair stick, but its a little bit like the other guy said: sandy so its perfect for bases and stuff

Good choice on parts mate! Looks like it's going to be a great captain.

As for the fuzzy pics, check if your camera has a 'close-up' function? Should looks like a flower symbol. Also a little tripod will only set you back 10-20EUR, but be sure to get one with straight legds and a moveable head, not the gimmicky kind with bendy legs, they're useless.

Yeah with the camera I think it is just a matter of the focus, if it is set to auto-focus, your pics wont be as blurry. But it looks as though you are putting the camera really close to what you are taking a picture of, it so, pull the camera back a bit, set the auto-focus, then zoom and crop the image before posting. I was having the same problem a few weeks back and zooming/cropping worked for me.

do they have a tripod for iphones, cause i'm using my iphone for my pics?
