So I've finally settled on a theme and paint scheme for my orks and I thought I'd show you guys and get some feedback.

I've settled on Da Krimson Klawz which are kind of a knock off of the Crimson Fists; blue with red arms, fists, or weapons.

Here are the first few which are done or near done.

Also the yellow on the shoota Boyz(group 1) I plan to replace with grey so it doesnt clash as much.

Awesome thanks. I just looked up the rynns world incedent and thats perfect fluff for my army. Is this from a 40k book?

Very nicely painted, do look a little bit clean for Orks though. Don't take that the wrong way though, I'm quite impressed by the paintjobs.

Looks like lots of washes over white undercoat?
Any chance of some WIP's so we can see how you paint them?

Here are some pre-wash WIPs. My paint job is pretty simple. For the boyz, I paint each area with a semi-bright color and follow up with a devlan mud wash. The walkers are the same just with more highlighting.

Nice, good idea with the fluff between CF and orks, maybe write some stuff up about them...

There was a time (long... long ago) when da Boyz whut had been fightin' against da Humies wif da ded-hard armor got ta finkin' 'bout how dey fight and wotnot and made stuff ta look like dem.

There also used to be a time when the Clans were more than just a color scheme... but whatever. You've done an awesome job with these and I'm hoping to see some tanks!

These guys look awesome although as has been said the do look a little to clean for orks but thats IMO.
What have you got plan for the rest of the army or are you just painting what you like?

Not only are they clean, but rather brightly colored in comparison to the other ork armies I've seen. Fluff for them would be a joy to read.

Apologies for that I didn't see your thread when I first started this. Actually this morning when I went to post a response I saw your thread directly over mine and thought to myself "oh crap".

As for the clean color scheme, I guess I'll chaulk that up to personal taste.

I should be posting more over the next few days. I'm currently working to finish my 1000 point army which includes more shoots boyz, kff Mek, and my old scratch build battle wagon which needs a repaint to fit this army.

I didn't think you were upset or anything. I just didn't want you to think I was bumming off of your idea without giving proper credit.

Thought I'd post some WIP and one finished nob. As for the nobz I wanted the one shot combi-rokkits to have a bit of a cartoonish look and I thought the barrels would work well.

that biker boss is incredible and the dread aswell. i like the nob conversion too but the head with the chainmail, i'm not keen on it but everything else looks fantastic

Nice use of the Wreck'n Ball on the Biker Boss. The Kombi-Rokkits on the Nobz made me smile.

I'm curious as to what you're doing with the bases? They just look a bit.... unfinished. I think painting round the sides of the base with codex grey would change the whole look of the army.

Laziness is the reason for the bases looking like that. When they are finished they will look like the bases on the killa kanz; clean coat of shadow grey around the bottom band.

Loving the biker boss, can't wait to see it get painted! Likin the barrel rokkits as well, though I can't help but think of Donkey Kong looking at them, lol.
