Hi!

I started this project 14 months ago and have been working back and forth on it for a long time but now I have finally completed it! Three scout sentinels for my Imperial Guard army in urban enivronment. Any C&C are always welcome!

Very nice! Could you run us through how the armour is painted?

Very nice indeed. I like the one with the crumbled rock building corner on it, proper sense of travelling through a blown up city.

They're nice, but somehow seem too static to me...

Sure, I first painted the armor with the vallejo color "Sombre grey". I added some dark grey chipping with a sponge on the exposed areas such as the feets. I also drybrushed them a little bit with a slightly brighter tone. Then I applied the decals and sprayed it with purity seal. Afterwards I applied an oil wash with a mix of brown/black oil colors. Once that was properly dry I sprayed it with Dull Coat. Finally, I added some pigments on the feet and lower legs along with the work on the bases.

Looking good! Great bases.
And I just noticed that the spades symbol looks a little like a mushroom cloud. I like that.

Thanks for the nice comments guys! I agree they are a bit static, I tried putting them more in movement but couldn't really come up with a position with the legs out of the ground that made them stable enough so they ended up like this. And about that spade symbol... well, being Scout Sentinels as they are I thought they could use a token of good luck! They'll need it!

Awesome basing, they really feel like a squadron picking their way through a ruined city!

They look great, like they're on the prowl. For some reason it makes me think of a future scene from terminator, maybe you can add some necron bits to the base. Still, they're impressive as is.
