What GW Kit (hush hush) OK which large 28mm scifi tank kit is the below conversion kit from puppetswar.com
designed for

The Imperium of Man is able to traverse the Warp with difficulty when their Emperor concentrates from his golden life support machine and lights the way. Unfortunately, because the Emperor has the attention span of the average 5-year-old Pokemon fanboy, this means that many an unfortunate Imperial ship has had the WTF WHERE'D THE LIGHTS GO experience, which in the Warp is invariably fatal.

Looks like it goes on a rhino to make a vindicator.

He's right, but it is way too enormous of a gun and looks stupid on it IMO. if they would have made it a little smaller it would've had potential. As of now id just buy a vindicator

the large bore looks like that of a Demolisher cannon. most likly would be fitted to Rhinos to make Vindicators.

Although one attached to a Leman Russ could make that turretless seige varient that the name escapes me... Thunderer isnt' it?

Anyone have a pic of one that's been converted?

Here it is, looks ridiculous. Unless your trying to have a ridiculous looking tank just for the effect then I guess its kinda funny. The gun is just way too big for that chassis.

God damn! That thing looks like it's designed to fire the bloody crew!

...Actually, that would probably suit a Samurai Pizza Cats themed army pretty well.

I think it looks ok. I mean at the end of the day it is a gun primarily used to breach walls and fortifications so it should be a large bore weapon.

I also think with a little bit of tinkering it could be reangled to be used as a griffon mortar or somesuch.

What would it look like on a Leman Russ Chassis?

Didn't FW do a tank that had a demolisher cannon embedded in the front of the hull?

ooooh-kay.

It looked alright in the "standalone" pic. On the Rhino chassis it just looks bloody ridiculous.

It's too big when a large enemy could crawl down the barrel and into your vehicle. Friggin ork nob could launch himself down that thing. Plus does it only have one shot? That round must be the size of the entire crew area

How would it look like on a Land Raider? Maybe some sort of Land Raider Ares can be done with it?

With some heavy conversion work you could cut it up and slap it on a baneblade chassis. Sizewise It would fit in better with that.

That kit supposedly comes with a Dozer blaze as well. I wonder what it looks like on a Rhino.

It could work on the rhinos if you converted it to have an open back. Make it more like a mobile artillery piece rather than a vindicator.

Will most likely use one of these for my Land Raider Ares, Vindi cannon looks a bit too small.

I found a picture of it with the dozer blade imo looks much better and a lot better then the picture above

The dozer blade makes all the difference, bulks up the vehicle a bit and takes focus off the gun. Overall I like the whole vehicle. IMO it fits the 40k size silliness quite well.

I mean come on, look at the diameter of the Russ cannon, think of the size the breach/firing chamber would have to be, the size the round would be...then tell me how it would be loaded in that tiny turret.

Gretchin. Several of them holding onto the inside of the barrel for dear life.

With an Ork mek poking out of the top hatch.
It's his soopa-doopa-more-killy-shokk-attak-gun

Or an angry marines vindicator.
That launches angry marines.

If only the barrel was a bit smaller, but the idea is there for sure, and with the dozer it looks good.

I like the painted up version, I love the hazzard lines too.

The cannon is a bit absurd for anything but an orky vehicle (yay for Allied Rules, so that Orks can now field Vindicators!) - I realise it's a scifi version of the WW2 SturmTiger and fires rockets rather than shells and therefore doesn't need space for a recoil mechanism, but it's still just a tiny bit oversized for a Rhino . The gun itself could also look great on say a Stompa or similar super-heavy - has anyone done this?
