Also, saw this on their site:

If I played tzeentch daemons, I would use these. They look way better than traditional screamers.

I've been admiring these minis for some weeks now, the Ogres fit perfectly with my army theme (swamp/sea ogres)

It's actually too large to be a Screamer, it's actually more chariot-sized. If you look at the version which comes with the "Daemonic Magelord", you'll see that it's actually pretty huge (so the 29 euro price tag isn't as bad as it first appears).

Those are some great looking figures.

Are those Ogers bits, full cast, or on sprues?

They resin, or plastic?

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

Anyone else start singing the "Battle for New Orleans" by Johnny Horton when they saw this one?

"We fired our cannon 'til the barrel melted down.
So we grabbed an alligator and we fought another round.
We filled his head with cannon balls, and powdered his behind
And when we touched the powder off, the gator lost his mind."

It's more likely to blast iron these days

So color me amongst the impressed, neat stuff going on and not bad sculpts at all. Hopefully they'll make a 'festooned with pistols' unit, it would seem that most every ogre army could use decent models to rep 3-4 (scouting, sniping, poison, flaming) guneaters, and being pirates just fits in with the maneater allure of not matching the rest of the army. As is these models here have somewhat limited application outside of pirate-themed gangs / armies (unlike say Maelstrom whose big beasties match the established army looks already).

Also, that uber-screamer is amazing

Like the fish cannon, unfortunately nothing else. Then again I don't like the ogres normally anyway, if I were to play them in fantasy I'd go with a gnoblar horde.

Perhaps the leadbelchers need more layers so as to satisfy some people here.

Replace the donkey with the cannon, the cat with a gnoblar/rum bottle slap and on a pirate hat and bam.

The pirate ogres are pretty sweet, too! If only companies like this could make "kits"... several bodies with a number of arm and head options, so that units could be made from them. Like Salvage says, it's kind of limited what you could really do army-wise with these at the moment. But still, very cool!

Not a fan of the huge cannon-on-gator, though

Have you read kenshin620's post and the photo he posted? Because this company does sell kits.
