Good start and welcome to DakkaDakka! First suggestion, the edge highlights look a bit thick - are you thinning your paint at all, or using it straight from the pot?

You will probably find you will get more comments if you include a (the) picture(s) in your post. Better still if you upload them to the DakkaDakka Gallery.

Also, if you plan on showing Works in Progress pictures, you may want to ask a mod to move this to the Dakka P&M Blogs section.

or you can build up your lightlights, like you have black armor, then mix black with your turquoise(?) and in like 4 layers go from black to 2:1 black:turquoise, 1:1 black:turquoise, pure turquoise to give it kind of a glow effect if your using bright neon colors

Hmm, interesting, i will give that a try, im guessing thats how people get the fading effect i see on most models. I am priming white, using abaddon black for the base coat, then i start with incubi green on the armor, then kabalite green, then sybarite green. I have had a hard time getting all three greens to show up, trying to do a little less paint with each layer but im not the best with a steady hand.

Looking good so far, advise from the other posters is good. I always wanted to do a dark eldar army. I love the forgeworld tantalus model, anyways keep up the good work, cant wait to see more updates.

These are the colors i have used so far, i am going to try the 2:1, 1:1 black layering next.
