Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum and have started painting again from a long break away from it. I'd like to know what you think of my first attempt at an Ultramarine[

Except for the insanely obvious mold line on his helmet/shoulder, i like it

Nice and clean paint job, but spend some more time preparing the mini before the paint goes on, you wont regret it

This is pretty good. Especially the freehand. I suck at doing freehand stuff.

Good base work. Good to see 3rd company represented.

Courage and honor, brother.

Yeah, looks good. Agree with the post above about the 3rd Company. They always had the coolest banner too. I've also only recently started painting again after a long lay off. And also started on Ultramarines. I've only managed to paint and upload a couple so far as I dont have a lot of spare time these days, but have a look at my gallery anyway.

Keep up the work.

Very nice job. The latest version looks ready to rock. My only complaint, and this is personal preference, is that now there is too much grass on the base. It makes me think that he's at the company picnic. The other complaint is that the purity seals are way too white. A Sepia wash would be good. Other than that, it's all good. Welcome back!

My brother had a few spare bitz so I turned them into my first tactical squad Sgt! Not a bad effort but not my best work
