One could easily presume the mood of any kangaroo w/ a pouch full of Dingoes to be angry.

Here I got some pictures. Not sure whats wrong but the colour is washed out. The shadow should be almost black.

I did this guy before i bent the needle I also blacked out some non red areas

These guys i did after I fixed the needle:

I need more pratice with this AB. the 0.15 needle is tiny and it tends to clog very quick. But so far I love it

I'd recommend using a dark red primer if you can get your hands on one. It'll blend much more nicely up through the brighter reds. Vallejo makes a very nice dark red airbrush primer.

Thanks Gits, the problem is the camera. In RL the models have smooth shade, from almost black to Red gore to bright blood red. I dont know what Im doing wrong but the camera makes it flat. It kinda frustrating

I'll bet. Keep at it Styro... the more comfortable you get with the whole set-up, the happier you're going to be with it.

I ended up doing some basing. Im not too happy with it. I over did it with the weathering powders..Oh well

I need to thin out the powder and I still need to add desert grass then they are done.

Great stuff as always, but I had to comment specifically about the 'stubble' effect you have on the Marines w/ the shaved heads. It is so perfect and there's no question exactly what it is when you see it.

Thanks Skalk I was unsure about the stubble. I was worried it came off like grey blobs. I mixed it with some flesh tone and watered it down.

Head is ok. Hair could be total ginger. Not kidding. Would compliment the darker bitz of armor.

I used the air brush.

I used these tutorials as a guide

This is the design that i followed

I used these colours and I used tape in this video, instead of the card in the other.

I covered it in a gloss coat. Then I painted the runes white and wiped the excess with my finger so that only the grooves had paint. The gloss coat makes the sword smooth so the paint doesn't stick except for the rune grooves. then i covered in a matt coat to remove the shine.
