So my dad bought me an elephant he saw another day. He paid 5€ for it so it wasn't much. The problem that is hurting my creativity is it's size. I would've made a battlewagon for my ork allies, but it's rather big.
There's a picture of comparison with a grey hunter, a termie, a thunderwolf and a trukk.
Any ideas? I'd like to keep it non apoc.

PS: Even though my main army is the Space Wolves, I possess some blood angels and Relictors(WIP)and my AoBR orks.
I'm also starting a secondary army of IG.
If you can tell me a use for any of these armies, I'd be grateful.

Thought about it already. I don't play apoc.

An oliphant? I only play 40k. Sorry...

Both ideas are still good.

Sorry, but I don't see what you mean by "more accents".

Also, this elephant's feet are quite closely spread the same width as a vehicle's flyer base is large.
So it could become a stormraven or ork bomma? Maybe not...

There is a difference between a squiggoth and a gargantuan squiggoth.

The smaller of the 2 being in 40K scale.

Look on Forge World (can't link from work) and you'll see it.

paint that bad boy green, give it a horn, cut the ears off, add teeth, strap a battlewagon to it....SQUIGGOTH!

It is too cute for such. I may paint him green though. Let's just say it's a new orkoid species...

I wouldn't try too hard to convert him to a squiggoth. Its a pretty cool model as is.

What I would do is buy some of the savage orc's from warhammer fantasy and make yourself some snakebite clan 40k orks.

Build a tower on the elephants back, slap on some war paint (leave him his current color and make to warpaint red), and load it up with orks.

Got agree with every one else, make it an Ork battlewagon or Squigoth.

I guess that would be logical. I kinda need a battlewagon anyway, and as that isn't an official model at all so such difference in size isn't that big a problem.

I'll see what I can do with some old miniature model parts I have.
(Mainly planes, although I also possess a Toyota Celica, which is almost exactly the same size as a trukk)

To make it shorter and thus closer to battlewagon dimensions, you could cut the legs at around the knees, and sculpt new alien monsterish feet. But only if you're going to cut off the ears and most of the trunk to make it look like something other than an elephant

But that's all a whole lot of work if you don't actually play orks much. A much simpler option might be to paint it like stone, put it on a base, and use it as a giant statue terrain.

I thought of the terrain thing too.
But I can make it around a battlewagon's size without removing it's ears or trunk.
I like them too much to do something that evil
Those monster-like feet shouldn't be too hard to make.

Feth that squiggoth! I'd need to find rules, which are likely listed in an Imperial Armour book.

Since you are starting up an IG army - have some fun with it.

Back when GW used to have fun with stuff - they had interesting regiments like the Lexian IX 'Sawtooths' or any number of other more savage IG regiments. Use the elephant as a count-as super heavy tank with some of the Cold One conversion rough riders and regular grunts converted from Catachans or heavily modified Cadians.

I would have to double check the dimensions of the elephant compared to various GW vehicles - but it looks like it might be comparable to a Warhound. Build up some armor with plasticard and mount a crew compartment on top behind the neck. Hang the arm weapons off the side of the elephant.

IF you consider cutting him up,

I'd cut him in half or 2/3'd from top down (that it in two halves seen from the front), so you can lay him on his side and use it as a big corpse terrain peace. Native animal that died when the war started, and is now laying on the battlefield.

But that's a LOT of cutting to do...

A dead elephant terrain piece is a very practical idea (just prop debris under it so that the pose looks natural), so long as you can expalin why there's a dead elephant on your battleground. Pretty easy to model, except I doubt rigor mortis would explain those sticky-outy ears

I read someplace that GW doesn't want fan fiction to be so creative as to include elephants with guns that spray orange goo. You should convert it to be an Indian War Elephant, either as an Ork Squiggith, or as a IG Chimera or Hellhound with Heavy Flamers - that spray orange goo. The fact that you have this, and can really do whatever you want with it... makes me feel like you should run with it.

First, it's not just an elephant: it's a big-ass elephant. You can always claim it's something alien, much like the huge wolves of Fenris. Second, certain climates might preserve it, or maybe it's recently dead.

Heh, maybe put some guns on it and make it a land raider! Or put it somewhere on the table and call within 6" of it dangerous terrain.
