Hello fellow dakka members. I decided to try out a painting blog and im fairly new to this. I decided after painting two squads of deathwing in traditional color to go with the Guardians of the Covenant. It reminds me of my old daemonhunter army and honestly seemed easier to paint (i'm lazy at painting). so here is my progress so far, got done priming and first base coat and some washing.

edit- new pics added, progress is beign made, struggled for a while to decide shield cover, still needs to have edge high lights

I think those robes will look pretty good when you pick out some of the details! Keep it up

I like the armor color, it's very good in contrast with the red fabric. Looking forward to seeing more.

I like what you did with the deathwing knights very well done. What were you thinking of for details for regular terminators (looking for a little inspiration of my own).

for regular, just silver bodies, black shoulder pads, and all iconography in red. my regular ones all have some sort of cloth or robe in red., remember they are silver with balck shoulder pdas and some red to pop out

well for allies, at the moment i use some of my 12k points of ultra marines lol, but am planning on small tau allies list within the future.
