Thanks, I really like how it came out as well.
Definitely something to attempt again later.

Moving on chariot is starting to come together, ended up going with a sort of dark scheme with lots of gradients. Haven't started the metal yet so most of the black there actually won't be by the end of it.

have you glued on the driver already? if so... i wouldn´t want to trade places with you for the painting... numerous odd angles to paint from i bet...

saw the last pic without the driver

Already regretting having the seekers glued in place really.

But, I'm not going to glue any riders to chariots. The wire in her foot will probably be shortened though, but it held nicely anyway; that little bit of primer actually making it hold really well now.

Those walls have promise Not_u, they look liek they could easily be cut and modified to give some more variety. Your work with purple is great! That is a color I've not used before.

Might have to see if I can do anything with them later. Probably should save one to see if I can cast it up later. Whenever I get around to learning more about that besides the odd press mould.

Also thanks.
Learnt to use the colour as I went along with this. No real reason to use it before.

Ooh, Seeker Chariot w/ paint!
That's probably the first seeker chariot I've seen with paint on it, besides, of course, the ones the guys at GW own

Any ideas for the tongue colour?

Probably some purple/pink would be best I guess, though the other colour going on this besides the bronze is green for the gems so there's that as a choice as well.

I'd keep the pink of the tongue more towards magenta than blue so it contrasts with the purple you've used.

So sort of a blue/purple?

no, I'd call what you've got more of a blue-purple, move around the color wheel to a pink farther away from blue for your tongue color.

Ah k, I'll try basing it with a deep red instead then as I've been just going through purple for this tone.

Continuing along got most of the gold done now on both the rider and the chariot.

Still have to start painting the heads on the seekers, was leaving them until the helmets were done.

Thanks.
Liking the way it looked only made doing the gems harder.

Messed around with red a bit for the tongues, made it work with the fading everywhere else. Started with Scab Red and blended Red Gore and Blood Red together before finally just adding the pink over top as usual.

Of course the camera hates taking a picture of it though...

Trying something new with their eyes since they're so much bigger than a Daemonette's.

tongues and gems looking totally ace.... !!!

Thanks Vik.
Well more or less done now, down to looking at near final pictures for any flaws I missed. Just need to add the grass to the base.

Favourite part of the chariot is probably how this gem came out on her stomach.

Probably need to fix up the back of the cloth a little. Good thing is the rider isn't fixed so I can more or less treat it as a separate project.

For making it up as I went with the Seeker eyes I don't think they came out all that bad. Will probably do all the Seeker eyes like that for the rest of the army. Whenever it is I add them. Simply enough it was basing them with boltgun metal, then watering down black ink and putting that over. Could probably use badab, but this makes it one coat instead of probably 5+. Then gloss varnish over them to finish.

Used a bit of gloss varnish too for this, all the gems, eyes and the non-metallic parts of the rider's platform are glossed. I also shortened the wire out of the Daemonette's foot.

Chaos likes to spread like that.

Well calling this finished now, may throw up a thread for it in show case with the Masque as I'm actually kind of proud about how that came out earlier.
Anyway starting with a nice close up of the rider. She'll get to sink those hooks into something soon enough hopefully.

As normal the Seeker's heads seem to greatly dislike being in focus. Requiring their own shot. -.-

Wow, really nice!
I like how you did the little green gems, and the Seeker heads are great (once in focus ) - I especially like their tounges, they look great.
Grea job!

Looks very nice n0t, but what do you mean by short break? Your stuff is awesome, and I don't want to have to miss out on it for a couple of months, especially when I only just found it!

Obj looks great, up to your usual standard. Are you planning on adding runes to this one?
