Since my older post has been locked http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/375380.page I'll have to start a new one. I really don't see what the problem with bringing up old threads. Just because they are old does not make them invalid. Okay back on topic.

The bastion has done quite well with over 1,000 downloads (but only 800 instruction downloads ) So now I'm working on what I call the Forward Assault Bunker. Seven gun ports and a reinforced door with crenelations on top the foot print can hold around 20 Space Marines inside and easily 16 on top. The plans are for a combination of heavy card/cereal box and 1mm mat board.

I hope to have pictures of the first beta test soon.

Made some progress on the Imperial Forward Assault Bunker yesterday! I've made changes to the design as I've been building. The finished product will have a ledge/lip between the Crenelations and the main bunker to make up for the varied thickness of card stock you may be using for your gun ports. Also I've made changes to the gun ports making them easier to assemble.

This is an amazing job! I've downloaded the instructions pdf, but it seems I have some trouble to download the bastion pdf, because the link in the old post seems to be broken...

Awesome terrain as always piper. I'm just starting to get into building terrain and plan to use your designs in building fortress as a centerpiece for my guard, thanks for giving such amazing pieces to the community.

They you will like my walls for the Imperial Bastion that I'm doing after I'm done with the forward assault bunker! Working on different gate designs as well. I am also adding transition segments to go between heights and if it is more than one transition at one go I'll make either a ladder or elevator
