Hey, a few days ago I came up with a fun list with Clan Raukaan and Ravenwing: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/644163.page Being a Dark Angels player, I figured that I should try to make myself a model for that character that would fit nicely with all the Ravenwing dudes.

Here's what I came up with, a pretty simple kitbash all in all but I'm happy with it. Now he just needs some paint and off we go, smashing some heretics!

I like the cute fairy wings he has

My only criticism is that the hammer looks out of place with all that DA icongrapy

might as well use the Big censor ones from the maces and call it a TH

Also doesn't smasher need a shield or am i thinking of something else?

That'd be Smashbane, Desubot. The precursor to Smash, who used the Shield Eternal (according to 1d4chan) before the Gorgon Chain became a thing and he could afford to use both hands for smashing.

The fairy wings are awesome. The hammer is actually from the DW command squad sprue so if that doesn't look enough like a DA hammer I don't know what does.

I was thinking of giving him a lightning claw also and have him go "look mom, no hands!" on his bike bit opted for the more conservative and sensible approach.

And these guys are together known as The Super Smash Bros.

I honestly really hate that hammer. It just doesn't look right on a model in Power Armor, riding a bike and swinging it around like an 80s thug with a baseball bat. Personal preference of course, but it's what I see.

Any chance of finding a hammer more like the Inquisitor Coteaz, held up close to the head, not ready to swing but in an 'at rest' position to the side of the bike?

Shadowrun is the best game ever. It's the only thing I have ever played in which I have jumped out of a shot out van with a chainsaw to cut a flying drone in half before leveling a building with ANFO assisted by a troll, a dwarf, an elf, and a wizard.

And I really like that hammer! I thought briefly of chopping up a DW Knight master and using his flail (replacing the head) as the hammer but decided no to. If you think about it, isn't that exactly the kind of a grip you'd expect one to have? If you have a heavy, unwieldy weapon in one hand you'd really want to maximize the momentum and therefore you'd have such a low grip. The veteran (upgrade) sprue has the power maul and that might have been also a nice base to build a hammer on... except that the maul is held in the left hand and I didn't feel like breaking the mini apart once I had glued the handlebar with the left hand attached already onto the model. There's just enough of the over-the-top cartoony feel with that hammer. The grimdark future won't always make sense to us!

From a now really sad fairy.

I think it's actually from the dark angel veteran box

Yep. I think that all the parts in this one are from different DA boxes.

I think the hammer is pretty fun. I had similar qualms about having my IG sergeants jauntily one-handing boltguns, but this is 40k we're talking about. That said, as a DA player I bet you have lots of bits lying around from the DWK and veteran boxes... I'd try to stick a winged sword icon or some purity seals on it for uniqueness.

The Space Wolves get plenty of options for power armor and thunderhammers. I saw screw it. Rule of cool always wins.
