Welcome back!

This is the next campaign for my mates and I, it will feature a five round dustup between the Forces of Chaos (Jake) against an invading Tau force (MarcusScipio) with both sides dealing with the somewhat questionable help of bands of Ork mercenaries (ChaosLegionnaire and myself).

The story is a simple one - Chaos have a planet, and the Tau want it for the Greater Good (natch). I wanted to kind of reverse the usual roles each army gravitated towards in order to hopefully create some interesting matchups. In every campaign mission the Ork players will make a force, but, just prior to game start, the Tau and Chaos forces will dice off and get to 'hire' one of the Ork forces. They will need to choose their mercenary help wisely, hopefully picking something that helps them or their mission, yet hurts their opponent. The Orks thus get the fun of having to create armies that could end up on either side of a given mission, again, hopefully creating some interesting build choices (or, for me, just dakka in battlewagons - I reckon that will never be a bad idea, right? )

I've been rereading your last two campaigns, and all I can say is W W

The amount of work that you have put into these campaigns is just jaw dropping. Multiple armies (all at least table-top quality painted, most way above), consistent games between players, awesome fluff, and kick-ass write-ups for each battle. I have to say Thor, your threads are awe inspiring.

Here's to the newest campaign. I hope it is bloody and full of excitement. I can't wait to read on!
