I'll be updating this as I finish squads. I'm doing them in groups of 5 currently, and each squad is taking between 2-3 hours, depending on complexity. Basically, averaging one squad each night that I work on them. And I'll be updating as they go through. The models lend themselves pretty well to matching the scheme, and I'm having fun with them. I've done older attempts, but the only ones that'll remain unadjusted are the War Machine models for the heavy weapon units. Each non-War Machine armor mark will included a basecoat of leadbelcher, a wash of nuln oil, a drybrush of the newest silver, and then appropriate clear-coats of Tamiya paints. Armor scheme listed below:

Enforcer units: standard red and gold armor (probably a given)

Assault Enforcer units: Silver Centurian armor (Mark 33). This armor according to the wiki includes a Vibranium blade sheathed in his gauntlet. Given wrist-blades, it's the perfect assault armor

Heavy Weapon units: War Machine armor (also probably a given)

Jetbike units: "Shotgun" armor (Mark 40). Hyper velocity suit. Fast unit. Yup, makes sense

Peacekeeper units: "Hulkbuster armor (Mark 44). The big guys in big armor

Pathfinder/sniper units: Stealth Armor (Mark 15). This is actually a basecoat of daemonette hide, with two washes of drakenhoff nightshade, then a gloss coat


First up is a unit of Peacekeepers. I'll add a unit of assault enforcers tonight.

Is that just Tamika clear yellow over the metal base for the gold? Ive got a GotG Milano to repaint and that colour would work great in it.

I love how the painted minis look, but I LOVE how simple the paint scheme sounds to implement. (Washes and drybrushing are the only techniques I want to use anymore.). They look perfect! Makes me want to watch Avengers 1 and Civil War again.


Would the gold technique work over an entire figure? Thinking of painting Custodes.

Full unit of "Shotgun" armor jetbikes has been finished. This one has a missile launcher under one. Not really sure about having a wristblade on one, since it's a missile launcher unit. Thinking about dropping a powerfist on one instead to be the unit champ kinda guy.

This keeps getting better. The black and gold on the thermal unit is very striking.

Black and gold is his Marvel NOW costume, which started in 2012 and ran for a couple years. I saw him do a couple fights in a volcano with that armor, and determined it acceptable to be in place of his inferno armor, which was too complicated. I did the scheme as is, with color instructions, for ease in case anyone wanted to do some of their own, and his old comic inferno armor wasn't really much different color-wise to his classic armor, and the movie adaptation looked more like active camouflage, so I felt this coloring was more appropriate.
The blue and silver is his "shotgun" armor, which was designed to travel at higher speed, making a crack like a shotgun when he accelerated and broke the sound barrier. Felt most appropriate for a jetbike unit.

Two jet bike squads are complete now!
6 bikes left to finish!

Two full units of bikers and breachers done now. Breachers have mines on their backs and a thermal rifle to nuke vehicles.

I know I showed one squad of defenders already, but the second squad and two squads of assault Enforcers are done. I have 2 breacher squads, two defender squads, and 6 assault Enforcer squads. Also, did Mantic just forget about their fusion guns? Can't find rules for them anywhere.

And assault Enforcers.

All 12 jet bikes are fully finished! Each squad of 3 contains a single heavy gun (missile launcher or burst laser) and a model used as the leader (armed with energy gauntlet in a missile squad or a wrist blade in a burst laser squad).
