So wait, pledging the $100 is superior to the $150? I had been staying away because $150 was way more than I wanted to spend. So is $100... but it's more manageable. This is the case?

That way,then left

For now the $100 pledge is the same as the $150 one minus the expansion and 2* stretchgoals.
It seems the next few stretchgoals will be only for the bigger pledge though, so there'll be more tied to the Knight pledge

Edit: corrected the number of stretchgoals that are Knight-only. I had forgotten the Joker-wannabe

I don't think AoS has that much to do with it, I think they've beaten the number of backers of the last zombicide set and have plenty of new people like myself onboard. We've seen the comments about picking them up later, or varying styles, I think the whole "guest artist" boxes are over done. To me the last few stretch goals with the four figs from niaide??? Really gave me time to consider just doing 2 of the $100 pledges so I get an extra tile set, dice, and more zombies and sell off some of the stretch goals. Not to mention having a second Abominotaur and Ablobmination.

I think the Gowan figure is nice, but not enough to up the pledge $50 to get it and Wolfsburg when I can get Wolfsburg later at a discount. I think that they blew their wad early with giving out the Abominotaur too soon and should have kept it for later (like now). Unless they have something Special still in the que that blows the Minotaur away I think we will see the usual big hike at the end, but nothing to take down Conan in totals.

I agree with the pledge logic, but I absolutely expect this to top Conan's total. Board gamers and people who are wary of big box pvc games will be much more likely to back Zombicide because of their proven track record.

I also really like that John Howe box! Although I agree that the varying styles in the different boxes isn't ideal...

What they really need to do is add a bit more to that $150 - make it a 'no brainer' to choose that over the $100 version.

If they then even got half of the $100 pledgers to up their pledge total the overall total would get much higher.

Although, I do feel a bit stupid giving pointers to something that has reached more than $2million!

The last lot of pictures are all taken from an odd angle. For some reason they are all taken looking up on the miniatures, instead of looking down on them. It makes all of them look like they are oddly arching backwards. I'm sure Guiton isn't an idiot and didn't actually sculpt them that way.

That could very much be the problem. It does look like some of them will fall over backwards. The guy with two swords mostly.

Really like the Edouard Guiton box, will be adding it to my pledge for sure.

What's up with the queen sculpt on the latest update? The pose is really off, the arm looks very unnatural.

Agreed, the pose is a little odd...

Nice to see Evil Troy also getting the necromancer treatment at the next stretch goal

I'm not a huge fan of the sculpt at all, and I actually had to have it pointed out to me that apparently this one is a not- Charlize Theron from some movie i've never seen.

Really? Let's look at pledges to date:
- 818 at $100
- 900 at $150 EB
- 11,853 at $150

When well over 90% of the backers are at the $150 level, there is NO need to add more to the $150 pledge. They won't get all 818 to upgrade, and it's silly to even suggest it. Meanwhile, it's not like 11,000 backers will suddenly drop their $150s over some kind of mistaken outrage that the small number $100 backers are getting nearly the same bonuses.

This time around there are no exclusive add-ons. All the add-ons this time around will be available at retail, so there is less excitement about ordering them now.

I'm one of the bigest zombicide fanbios around and my pledge has been at $200 since day one. $150 level + the doors + dice and while all the artist boxes are sweet, I don't really want to drop another $200 to get them right away. I already pledged $150 for the 8 exclusive cards from B-Sieged. My wallet could definitely use the break, waiting till January to pick up all the artisti choice boxes.

@Pacific, there is a potential argument that CMoN could go with a single pledge level of $140 or $150, but I think CMoN likes the $100 price point so that backers don't feel put off by having to pledge a minimum of $150 to get the rewards.

Note that CMoN already pulled the "game only" $75 point without any SGs, because the marginal $25 revenue easily outweighs the marginal cost of the plastic whatnots, and this simplifies their production process. Plus, they don't want to compete with 3rd party retail / wholesale.

WIth something like $8M worth of Zombicide Kickstarted to date, I think CMoN definitely knows what they're doing.

The extra $50 gets you the expansion, Gowan the Exclusive Survivor, the Exclusive Alphabomination monster, and the exclusive Necromancer Grin.

If money is tight, the $100 pledge is still a sweet deal, since most of the freebies are included at that level.

Ahh thanks for the feedback on that, I dunno if I can even justify the base pledge at this point, though I may figure that out before the 8 or so days remaining are up.

Really like those dashboards... gonna have to copy the idea for some of my other games whether I back this or not..

It's soo worth backing the Kickstarter for all the free loot All those freebie survivors make a huge difference, and add additional instant replay value.

Sell some blood, rob a liquor store, mug an old lady, it's worth it.

Can't say I'm overly impressed by either the artwork or the sculpt for the latest stretch goal - just seems bland and a bit phoned in.

I agree that they're really overdoing/milking the guest boxes, and too many of them are too generic and uninspiring. I was keen for lots of fantasy tropes in the same way that regular ZC has tons of them, and that hasn't eventuated. I'd planned to buy all but one of them, but the way they keep pumping them out, I'll probably cut right back.

I wish they'd add a few more non-humans - a female orc would be cool too. We could also use another female wizard type survivor, as so far, the only one appears to be Antha.

I am more inclined to get the Black Plague guest artist boxes than regular zombicide, as you get 4 new player options as opposed to 2. I know you get a zombivor version in the standard ones, but we tend not to use that rule.

I'm kind of glad they did away with the Zombivor mechanic in Black Plague. While we use the rules for them in our games, they almost never come up. More often than not the only time a Zombivor minaiture hits the board is as a lost. Then people go out of thier way to murder them from the searchable weapon.

As you mentioned, it makes the Guest Artist boxes more attractive, with 4 heroes, instead of 2.

I think they just kind of feel obligated to keep making them in Classic Zombicide, but I wouldn't feel bad is the Season 4 survivors had no zombivor counterparts.

We already saw this in S3, with no Zombivors in the base game, just a lot of Survivors; then Zombivors added afterward.

I think NPC zombies allow them to still do zombified versions of characters people might buy without resorting to zombivivors.

We have soo many Zombivor models, people could just use them as MVPs to get more use out of them.

You don't even need to do that, there are rules to use them as another Zombie type. they have the same target priority as a Survivor, have one action and need to take 5 cumulative damage (Dam2 weapon = 2 damage) before being killed. When killed they grant 1 xp and one piece of equipment picked from the equipment deck. the rules and spawn cards are in the Lost Zombivor box

New addon -

The Deadeye Walkers optional buy box comes with 21 Deadeye Walker miniatures and 6 spawn cards to add these skeletal zombie archers to your game! The Deadeye Walkers come in three different sculpts.

The latest trick up the Necromancers' sleeves is a manipulation of the zombie infection that allowed skilled archers to retain their deadly accuracy in zombie form. The experiment rotted their flesh away, but as long they can still hold a bow and arrow, they will serve their sinister purpose to the bitter end.

Deadeye Walkers function like standard Walkers for most game purposes. Same place in the targeting priority order, 1 action per activation, 1 Damage to kill, 1 XP per kill. Of course, the huge difference comes when they attack with their fearsome bows!

Deadeye Walkers Attack whenever they activate while having a Line Of Sight on a Survivor (or more) at Range 0-3. Then, they perform a standard Zombie Attack on the designated Zone. If several Zones are eligible, they choose their target according to these priorities:

1- The Zone with the most Survivors.
2- The noisiest Zone.
3- If all eligible Zones have the same amount of Survivors and Noise, the players choose.
Walking the streets will never be safe while Deadeye Walkers roam about. Get inside, or get away, or an arrow to your knee might put an end to your adventuring days.

and also -

The Counter Base Pack allows you to more easily identify different types of zombies. It comes with a total of 27 bases that fit on your Zombie or Survivor figures, including 21 black bases, and 6 multicoloured bases.

The black bases can be used, for example, to more easily identify Runners on the board, making them stand out more from normal Zombies. The colored bases come in the same color as the Necromancer tokens, so if you're using the Necromancer Cabal rules and having multiple Necromancers on the board, each leaving a different Spawn Zone, you can apply a base that matches the Zone where he spawned so you can clearly see where that Necromancer is supposed to go.

And beyond that, these bases are for whatever purpose you can devise for them. Crafty players might want to paint them different colors for use with special house rules. They are also compatible with classic Zombicide, so they could be further used to distinguish, Berserkers, Toxics, Skinners, etc. While the Counter Bases pack is not Kickstarter Exclusive, we don't necessarily have plans to make it available on retail later on.
