I could totally get behind the Khornemower if it was the torso attached to a set of defiler legs, like the Soulgrinder. But as it stands it's just plain..... awkward.

Also, not really liking the flying monoliths. They have too much stuff going on. The whole point of the Monolith's look was the clean, "monolithic" lines of the Necron style.

Maybe it comes with a special sprue that allows you to connect it to two Hellturkeys and two Dinobots to make a true Mega-Zord (the Khornetron 8000!)?

What Necrons were and what Necrons are now are very different things.

I don't get all the hate. I mean, the Khorne thing is silly, but no sillier than many recent Chaos releases. And I kinda like the Monoliths.

They're not bad. Not worth the absurd amounts GW will charge for them of course. But not bad.

I don't like the Khorne thingy, but the monolith thingy with the singularity in the middle is plastic awesome painted in crack and delivered by Scarlett Johanssonon on a hover-board. I want 3 and I don't play Necrons.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

I never did like the Epic chaos stuff, it looked too wacky. You can just about get away with it for Epic but blown up top 40K scale the concepts and models are way off. The Lord of Battle was an exception though, it had promise. The main problem being that for all the variety of chaos the range was very poor, each item looked like a unique one off but had to be spammed as the army list contained little else beyond one or two designs per god, so Nurgle had plague towers and nothing else, only certain gods had certain types of titan etc.

I wonder if it will have extra bitz to make a similar engine for a different god?

I can not wrap my brain around why GW is afraid to make a bazillion dollars/pounds/"x" currency by releasing a plastic warhound and instead keep pumping out dino-bots and angry mega-zoids. I for one would buy at least 2, they are easily usable by loyalists AND traitor units so everyone is snagging them. Well except for the dirty filthy xenos lovers. But GW hates them too, (I kid!)

I just hope one of the armies I actually play gets something this supplemental release. I expect Sosters will receive zero support for this one again.

I like the retro look to the Chaos kit. It will look even better once real painters get ahold of it.

I wonder if Tau will get something along these lines since we just got a "large" kit in the riptide? I think a formation will be a given but might be nice to see a large flyer (perhaps Vespid) or another large suit or Knarloc.

I play:
40K: Daemons, Tau
AoS: Blades of Khorne, Disciples of Tzeentch
Warmachine: Convergence of Cyriss
Infinity: Haqqislam, Tohaa
Malifaux: Bayou
Star Wars Legion: Republic & Separatists
MESBG: Far Harad, Misty Mountains

Thanks for the additional pics MGS. Looks like it makes four different vehicles and has loads of accessories. Good kit over all.

Nice find, MGS. Obviously GWS will now have to travel back and time and sue whoever made those for copyright infringement, obviously, but this is great news, nonetheless.

Seriously that Khorne thing is laugh out loud awful. How does something like that get made? Tell me, for I wish to know. Did a middle schooler doodle it in homeroom, and somehow from there it found it's way to Nottingham?

The Necron stuff is pretty good looks like though, but I have to wait to see what they transform into.

I'm still more interested in whatever the hell that piece of terrain peeking in at the top of the Monolith pic is.

I do hope these are new Monolith types, and not a replacement to the old faithful monolith.

The Monoliths actually look great in my eyes

As for the Khorne thing, it almost feels like it harkens back to the old days of silliness and fun, when models like Big-Hatted Chaos Dwarfs and such were acceptable

Honestly back in the, I hate to use the term, good old days

Sure there are still touches of new Warhammer, skulls everywhere, huge plastic kit and silly name, but it has a more classic feel to it.

If only they'd give it a classic era price

If this is the Chaos mega kit, what would Imperials get? Weren't we suppose to get a dual Imperial/Chaos walker kit?

The alternate monolith looks really, really good.

The Chaos version of a Zaku Tank is hideous.

Things to worry about.
1. Who is writing this update remember it could be the "Spiritual Liege" Matt Ward
2. Chaos is a toy? Yeah that things look ridiculous I mean it looks like they ripped a Bane-blade in half and decided to go Orky on it.
3. Necrons- HOLY Those things look like Flying Monoliths which bring me back to my first point if Matt ward has anything to do with this prepared for Apoc Necrons that can take out EVERYTHING on turn zero
4. Be cautious this could all be fake
5. This is a worse case scenario

Dude, you just won the Internet when it comes to 40K today.

I like the look of these new Apocalypse kits, should be a lot of fun (in spite of the anticipated prices). I'm always in trouble when there's a new Daemon Engine about and an enormous one will be mandatory for my Chaos Marine forces which already have a Tower of Skulls, Baneblade variants, and lots more.

I can't wait for theset o have plastic models, but at the same time I'm really not looking forward to posts complaining on how these are just rip offs from warmachines jacks.

Any addition to apocalypse is great, I don't get to play as much, so when we do manage to set a day,we try to go big.

I feel like forgeworld will need to update all their books again too :(

They will soon, but made by a company called Dreamforge, and they'll be called "15mm Crusade Leviathan" rather than "Knight Paladin".

Didn't you quote some GW store guy on facebook saying this kit is a Lord of Battle / Blood Knight dual box? Was that just a jest? Because that would make sense as I assume the LoB would be this bum on wheels guy and the BK would be the walker that everyone actually wanted. Then this would be a great kit.

That was the announcement from Games Workshop Fulchester. They're... not real.
