See the Angel book one i recall and can still find so online. The Gencon Bolt on tne other hand no, I do recall then saying Penny like all Gencon Mrecs before will get a release later in the year. Im fact i pretty sure they said the Bolt was a one time deal, before they agreed to let the cosplay keep sell it on her website.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.

Gogo Marlene had no regular retail release.

Have we received the list of Februarch's releases yet?

Don't think that I've seen the current Antenocities mini Kickstarter posted anywhere around here, so here goes...

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2097161002/game-box-for-infinity-the-game

Reasonably interesting game bits storage box, some people may find useful.

Personally, I'm not desperate to get one and I'm quite happy to wait for retail, but it's nice to see that it has funded. Also my self-imposed KS ban prevents me from getting in on it.

However...

They just put a pledge level in for a bunch of their Asian Terrain that I was going to buy anyway. I'd be stupid to not pick that up, right?

EDIT:

OK, I'm a moron.

It has been mentioned in a separate post and lost on page 2.

If this doesn't constitute Infinity News, please nuke it from orbit.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
On a different note, apparently the Beasts of War campaign is scheduled for the first week in March.

Time to get some games in!

Neither GoGo Marlene, nor Bubba the HI ABH will get regular releases. Nor, as far as I know, will the LE mini that will come with HS. Everything else is supposed to have a regular release equivalent, although I doubt that we will see one for Miranda Ashcroft. And a big Meh! to that mini anyway. I'd like to see the Jeanne D'Arc regular mini at some point, if for no other reason that to be able to use it as a Montesa proxy. I doubt that we will see a Montesa anytime in the near or far future :(

Gogo Marlene is a basic civvie with no special profile. If anything, the O12 High Commissioner model is her public release as well as the Dire Foes civvies. They're categorically all the same.

The "HI" ABH is just a regular ABH in pretty much every way except he's fat-looking. You can use Max Skropio to represent the generic ABH. Do note that even if you roll +3ARM on the ABH's Booty table, he remains a light infantry model. This is the same with the sniper ABH getting a completely different profile release when they released the same body with a rifle on a bike.

Fun Fact: The "Booty" rule is on page 69 of the rulebook. :-)

Miranda Ashcroft and La Muet are special cases because they have completely separate and unique unit profiles in the rules that aren't determined by random booties. Technically, you're supposed to use the existent model for those if you wish to field them. Miranda has a monofilament CCW and La Muet has symbiont armor both of which are not available to normal ABHs.

Also, Ashcroft specifically is usable in ITS events fieldable wherever vanilla ABHs can.

These are the reasons people are asking for a Miranda Ashcroft general release model.

Asking and wishing for Ashcroft is not the same a CB promising the would have a general release, are a little different wouldn't you say.

People seem to be comparing Ashcroft's missing general-release model with that of the chubby ABH, Gogo Marlene, or even the Gencon Bolt. They're not comparable.

Personally, I already have Miranda Ashcroft, never use it, and have never seen it used. But the unique profile is there and some people don't care about proxies.

Or they are pointing out CB never said Ashcroft was getting a normal release, and it was just wishlisting by people after the fact Ashcroft got her own profile.

How is it not. No one said they are comparable just CB never said we gat a normal release and pointed out other cases of CB not saying we get a normal release.

The point is they only said that about ITS prize model and some individual models. They was never a blanket statment about Named models with their own profile getting a normal release.

No one even said if it was a good idea or not. Just that wishlisting should be confused with official statment form CB, and so new player don't start thinking CB did.

At this point, we should all get back on track here, and take any remaining necessary discussion about that other stuff down to the INFINITY sub-forums.

Thanks!

Yeah, it's actually happened quite a few times. I was hoping for a Combimed Army or Tohaa deal this time around. Back to the waiting game, I guess.

Seems like they've been a little light on infinity this year, so far. Good for my wallet, at least.

The year is young, Grimdork....

Govads are up for pre-order at MM, along with the rest of the releases; Desperadoes, Oznat, Nisse Hacker and Hac Tao. Prices are in line with previous minis. A good sign.

Set up a wish list of things you want and that you think might go on Daily Deal... Box sets are a good bet here... and just wait and watch. Bargain-Hunting is a marathon, not a sprint. That said, I know the Govads will eventually be a daily deal, but will I wait? Hard to say.

At this point, writing this on Feb 8th, I think that "Human Sphere" wont arrive in time for the next Season of ITS.

CB usually launches their products a month before official release. ITS begins on 22nd. So I think the expansion is not ready yet.

I would dare to say that the book will be the next GenCon product.

I'd be ok if they *don't* put up any more DotD, I can usually resist buying Infinity (large shame drawer full of future projects of just Infinity), but when you're talking CB metals for 4-5 dollars a pop...really low willpower. Even if I don't have the army

So discussing trends in discount sources of Infinity products doesn't count as news or rumors? Sigh. I'll go.
