I'm currently trying to build up both a Bug-Person and Cat-People army with some homebrew rules for each, and I was wondering if anyone knew any good places besides Reaper to get models for both as I'm not very good at converting, ATM I'm kinda stuck with Reaper models and Shelob from the LOTR game
Thanks

The Alkemy figs are a touch tall, but not outrageously so, and if you look around some places have them for rediculously cheap. They also mix well with some of the egyptian cat people from Reaper.
Another excellent source is the Panthera Tribe from Black Orc's "Hundred Kingdoms" game. Nice figs, and a fairly comprehensive selection sculpted by none other than Sandra Garrity!
You can see the whole line here:
http://cart.blackorc.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=70&zenid=ad8e27de18f2743626b9257e0d8f4d0c
They are very reasonably priced to start with, but if you look through the "Mini-Sculpt/Bulk/Bases" section of their website some of them are sold out of the blister for as low as $1.50!

Having a tail doesn't make her a "cat-person".

Having a cat's tail, cat's ears, fangs and a cat familiar is enough for most people

Yes, I should account for low standards, but malfreds picks are "cat people", while the soda pop fig is a pair of tits in a halloween costume...

Well Catgirls (Ears and Tails) to me are as acceptable as Catpeople who are fully anthro cats (I kinda imagine them being different breeds, like Skinks and Saurus)
Also I don't really care if their exploitation figures like the Soda Pop ones which are all tits and skimpy outfits.
Oh and to answer the question Fantasy or Sci-Fi, both
See I'm doing both races in Fantasy while for WH40K I'm doing Cat-people as a species of Abhumans, while the Insect People are Xenos
Thanks again for the models and suggestions guys
