@Crimson - the tallest miniature from the whole set is 36 mm and she stands on her toes.
Automatically Appended Next Post: I guess this set of Hooded Skulls will mix extremaly well with recently released Tormentor Bodies. What do You think?
https://puppetswar.eu/product.php?id_product=501
Just wanted to say placed an order recently and it arrived a couple of days ago, overall very impressed and the casting looks way better no real issues.
Great models although building Kevin looks like it will take some support strengthing as it weighs a ton, had a couple of missing bits like an exhaust and a ram but email sent so hopefully will be sorted soon.
The turn around time was good as well so really great jobs guys, I give you 98% out of 100% on this one if it wasn't for the two missing bits and a head set mix up it would have been 100%.
We will certainly send missing parts ASAP, thanks for positive comment.
It seems that we didn't have any discount for a long time. Let's fix it then. All orc models and parts, basically whole Orc section of our webstore, is available with 10% discount now.

NOW YOU OFFER A 10% DISCOUNT my entire Order was basically Ork products ......
I'm interested in the tormentors as the basis for some conversions. Any chance of a scale shot versus some other popular miniatures? Cadians or DV cultists or anything else I might recognise?
Any chance you can make some cyber dogs / necron wolves? Love to run a 'pack' using flayed ones rules! Even phaerons were surely buried with their pets?!
Well, this is possible but we really have to flesh out some older factions/units. For Barghast Fiends, we have a two headed leader hound in the pipeline, it will be available soon.
And today two new releases - sets of Gods of Egipt shoulder pads in two sizes - regular and termos.

Ass the Boss said - these pads were released about two years ago but we were asked many times to make a set of varied designs, hence this release. You can still buy all of them in packs containing exactly the same design too of course.
And today, after watching a great show on the road...
I think that our Brick vehicle would be a great car for some drivers. Very forgiving for bad driving, shock resistant and easy to park without fear of paint being scratched.
Taurus APC also known as Brick.

"Dwartist - excellent finish, really good weathering. May we use your photos to show them on our FB" - thank you, and yes, of course! I'm prepping a Dragonfly for painting at the moment (and waiting for a couple of turrets from you) but you should have a look at this guys desert version (scroll down the page until you see it!)

Let's continue with further weapons. New release - Flintlock pistols.
Set contains ten resin flintlock pistols casted with hands - five weapons are with left hands, five with right ones.

On Thursday we will release three new models of gaming terrain - ruined sci-fi buildings. It seems that we ran out of creativity though, as we can't think of any appropriate name. So, could you help us?
There is one picture of these soon to be released buildings below (and much more on our Facebook profile here: https://www.facebook.com/Puppets-War-159776737387320/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1258471187517864). Please write in the comments (here or on FB) proposition of name. This contest runs for 24 hours (so it ends tomorrow, Thursday, 6th of October 2016 on 8PM CET). Then we will release new models and announce the winner.
There is ONE prize - set of three buildings visible on the photo below.
Regarding range... Resin, modular. So far we have finished 3 different walls with a bend section, 3 different straight walls, 1 wall with an entrance and eight elements for large and six elements for small pylons. There will be non-ruined version in a near future, with an option of having additional corridors and floors added (as in first, second floor) and other terrain models and accessories made specifically for this range, in this aesthetics.
All conflicts are fought over something valuable - land, water, oil, mineral resources... and battles are fought over Tactical Objectives. We just released one.

This was from a quick Google search. The image is from someone here on Dakka (I think) and I believe the turret is the same mount just with different guns.

I was actually wondering about the tracked section, thanks.

Yes, that's mine
The lascannon is original, but I replaced the muzzles of the plasma guns with GW versions, and both weapons are magnetised.
Puppetswar - Those are good for sure but I thought those were both curved. I have your Enforcer walker and thought it would be nice to mount some of those to the top magnet slots.. Will those work or are the curved too much?
Wow those past 2 posts from PW are awesome!
I like the tower for terrain, not just in 28mm but also in 15mm gaming. It looks like the details are "scalable" and it could easily be a large communication building in 15mm or a satellite relay or whatever in 28mm.
Zywus wrote: Holy sh*t. Blue Table Painting is still in business!?
That was my general response as well. As much as they have screwed their artists and clients over I would have thought the sheer weight of ineptitude would've done them in by now. The Puppetswar model is cool but that paintjob looks like a drybrush job that might've taken them 30 minutes. Knowing Blue Table it probably would cost about $300.
Today we re-released two of our older sets: ORC THUGS GANG and ORC THUGS BIGGER GANG. Reworked miniatures features holes for magnets in torsos and arms, which makes converting them a little bit easier.
@Puppetswar - I really like the dragonfly MKII. have you guys considered changing out the cargo container type box for a lowered door troop transport style cargo box?
@usernamesareannoying - Dragonfly MkII will be probably remastered and reworked in the future, we may think about this change. Nothing set in stone of course.
And regarding price of the Outpost Alpha - well, we will see... let's hope one kidney will be enough, without need for 2nd mortgage
Today's new release - one more remastered orc set, miniatures may be used with magnets now, as arms and torsos have appropriate holes for mounting 3x1mm magnets, which makes converting them really easy.
ORC FOOTBALL GANG
https://puppetswar.eu/product.php?id_product=353 Please remember that all orc faction is available with 10% discount till the end of this month.
If you're taking suggestions on the Dragonfly Mk2, having the rear tail section able to be built in either a transport or gunship configuration would be amazing!
I also wouldn't mind an alternate cockpit that converts the whole thing into a drone (yes I've been playing a lot of Black Ops 3)..
Automatically Appended Next Post: If you want to crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women, we just might have something for you Barbarians:
https://puppetswar.eu/product.php?id_product=638
Every hero (or barbarian) needs someone or something to fight against. Why not cyclops? And it just happens that we have some one-eyed monsters in offer Giant - Cyclop with stone, Giant - Cyclop Two-headed and Giant - Cyclop with mace.
Go, fight them!
Time for a new competition. We are preparing a new unit of orcs and it is still without name so we ask for Your proposals. This particular unit will be available in two versions, one armed for close combat and second with more 'shooty' weapons.
We will give three 30 EUR vouchers for our webstore to authors of three proposals we will like most.
RiTides wrote: Also just placed a bits order . Has anyone else ordered recently, what's the usual turn around time currently?
I placed a large order a couple of months ago and I am UK based, it took around 3 weeks from start to finish plus the casting was pretty damn spot on with my order definitely worth the investment.
MLaw wrote: If that's really the only difference, that's probably the most disappointed I've been in a long time.
That is the only difference. Keep in mind it isn't a "new" item. All three versions have existed and been around since the first one was released. Some of the items listed are just to advertise and remind people they are there and there are different versions.
I thought I had seen it before.. I got the cockpit originally on mine. It really is a good kit but I was hoping we were about to see some of the suggestions we mentioned months ago.
Well, we are a little bit overwhelmed with propositions of names for new units so we will announce the winners of the competition after the weekend - sorry for that.
Let's have one more competition.
A necromancer used 30% of his mana to reanimate five knights, which are moving with an average speed of 1.3 mph. Question - how much magic substances uses censer mounted on mage's staff? Margin of error is 5 kilometers.

The correct answer is that magic is an art, not fodder for a plebeian clerk's bead counter, you abacus fancier.
Cold earth conducts necromantic energy at a rate of five nihils per quantum rotation. With a decay rate of the areas soul saturation divided by the moons' phase coefficient minus any photonic ampules from exposed solar radiation.
We must take this product and apply the Lovecraft theorem which tells us that his necromantic censur will provide enough magic sustenances for him to arrive at my home.

In order to solve for the amount of magic used, we all know you must take the inverse of the sorcerer. The inverse of a sorcerer is a barbarian, and a good barbarian can sprint 100 yards without breaking a sweat. Here we must take into account the margin of error, so let us say 100 yards plus or minus 5 kilometers. Now since a 100 yard sprint gets you a touchdown in American football which is worth seven points, and one good barbarian is the equal roughly five skeletons, each of which used exactly 6 percent of the necromancer's total mana, we take the average of six and seven, leading us to our final answer of 6.5. QED.

Doesn't matter his necromantic posterior won't get 5' because the Inquisition has been keeping an eye on him. Purgation squad has already fired the holy water soaked ballista and it's just a matter of lifeless heart beats until he is skewered, drug into the middle of town, covered in kindling and set ablaze . So take that and put it in your pipe to smoke it . But since the town is 3 kilometers away I guess we will go with that
With our recent (and upcoming) undead realease, we would like to show one of our earliest releases - Zombie Heads. Set of eight heads in four variants.
Please remember about our magic theory contest - You have time till the Wednesday to answer our question.

The only possible answer is 42 no need for a error margin
She was one of their earliest. I think they've come a long way since then. Poses like that are pretty hard to "sell" as believable. The symmetry of it alone makes it unnerving. If one hand were down or forward and on leg were turned in ward or extended out to the side or something it would be a lot less awkward.
Having said that, if you put her on a corpse like she's ripping it apart or landing on it or something, it could be neat.
Demonic Assassin is one of our earliest models and... well, it shows... Necromancer will be available real soon. And one more information - larger cerberus type fiend (or fiends) will be definitely this year, the very beginning of the next in the worst case, available.
And here is something we are working on now... All is left is to paint it...
In answer to the necromancer question, they will make it just as far as his enemies can hear his maniacle laughter resonating through some poor smoldering countryside!
Winner of our last competition is Peter Munch'kin Sørensen. Wr also have had so much fun reading your coments that we decided to reward all participants giving them 10% voucher to our webstore, you can apply for it by sending us a private message here at the dakka forum.
It's getting colder and colder here in Poland, after the very warm (and rainy) last week, there is good minus five right now. I think I will wear one of such ushankas tomorrow
MLaw - I will try to make such a photo, but please don't be upset if it will take a couple of days. But judging from the size of it, they will fit nicely
And a little update of what we are currently working on. Work in progress of course.

'Dear Santa from Puppets War -
You should release a Prime Battlewalker armor upgrade kit, Termos rifle arms, and a "human" version of your chopper so we can put flaming skulls on the riders.
That centaur is pretty cool. I like that it's not just a horse body.
You guys should totally release a new leg set for the Prime Walker! Thicker, bulkier legs would be so awesome... a bunch of us have posted on here about that and would insta-buy them, I hope you will consider it.
Please note that this is PRE-SALE. We will start production of this set on January 2nd, so bear in mind that waiting time for completion of orders containing Barghest Jeggers may be a little longer then usual. In exchange, price contains discount now. It will be higher after January 1st.

Do You like our new beasts?
Do Barghest fiends reproduce by splitting in half or is this some mutant variant?
And, as we received many e-mails asking us to release a single miniature of Barghest Jaeger too. Ok, You ask, we deliver.
Starting from tomorrow, we will offer single Barghest Jaeger too. Please let us decide which design we should offer. Just write in comments 1, 2 or 3.
We received quite a few letters to Dear Puppets War Santa... But the three we liked most were written by Saul Wright, Sean King and Chris Fairrie on Facebook. We'd like to thank all of You for writing to us with great suggestions and ideas. Quite a few of them are already in the works, few others are simply to great to pass, we will try to make models based on these ideas in the coming year.
And we will ask for Your opinion more frequently too, You can count on it
Please note that this is PRE-SALE, for special, lower price valid till the next week. We will start production of these models early next week, so waiting time for preparing orders may be a little longer then usual too.
We would like to thank all of you for 2016, for being with us, for putting trust in us, for writing comments, suggestions, for asking answers. For letting us grow and improve.
Thanks, Friends.
We will try to fill this coming year, 2017, with new ideas, designs, great miniatures and models. So, let's hope for tomorrow.
We wish all of You a healthy, prosperous, bright and - simply - good new year!
Sneak peak of some of the planned units from the new faction we are working on, which will be released this year - amongst many other things of course.
Looking at the designs, do You have some ideas we could incorporate into this new faction?
And, most importantly, do You like it?
I like the new faction a lot. They need their version of a Battle Walker!!! Which.. I assume is a long way off..
BUT.. until then.. a hover APC is a huge must for this! Hopefully the basic troops will have a few options for melee units. Maybe a scout style unit too? Lastly, perhaps some sort of heavy gun drone or heavy gun platform?
EDIT: And psychics as someone above mentioned.. a major and minor variation..
I really like the mech on the top right, as well as the winged infantry with the rifle. I definitely encourage strangeness in their designs. Of the vehicles, the jetbike (the one in the middle) is the only one I like; the walker looks awkward (it looks like a jetbike that was attached to a waist with legs*) and the gunner on the heavier jetbike just puts me off for some reason. Maybe make the gun bigger and automated? They certainly look high-tech enough to eschew a manual gunner. I do like the domed biker helmets, though.
Also, if we could get some usable truescale Eldar bits out of this, I'd be very, very happy...
EDIT: * Actually, comparing it to the jetbike - that's exactly what it is! I think the look could be pulled off more successfully without the extra bits at the front and back; the top half is too long as it is. Also, I have to wonder why the walker's legs are almost completely different to the mech's, being smoother, longer, and digitigrade.
I like them, but think the battle walker and Jetbike with gunner does not fit in this.
If you can build a heavy suits/robots, why should there be an open toped walker with the pilot sitting there like on a Jetbike
keep that design like it is but just remove the pilot and put some guns there instead
also the jetbike with gunner, remove him and place the guns on the side
We receive quite a lot of photos showing our miniatures or conversions in our e-mail. Some of them are really creative and inspiring. So we have an idea.
Share with us here or on Facebook photos of Your creations - our models or miniatures with our bits used for converting models released by other companies. Ocassionally we will choose one such photo, which will truly impress us, photo will be shown here/on Facebook and the owner will receive 20% discount voucher.
And here are first such photos, sent to us my Maikel Tegelaers.
Human Blood Bowl miniatures with our Legionary Helmets.
Did You know that we also sell one of the most important tool in the arsenal of miniature gamer? Cyanoactylate Glue? In fact, You can buy three variants of the glue and 200ml cyanoacrylate activator spray in one set.
Believe us, activator spray will make Your life easier. Much easier.
https://puppetswar.eu/product.php?id_product=358
For the curious, I have the medium CA (threw it into a big order cause I knew my Zap would run out soon), and have had good results thus far. Can't really give a lot of other details, except that I like the price and the thickness of the glue, and it overall behaves quite a bit like Zap, if a little more viscous.
The one downside I find is that the plastic making up the bottle itself is quite thick, making squeezing the sides difficult - this is probably less of an issue with the thin option, where you're not likely to be crushing the bottle, but I find my fingers can actually get a bit tired from squeezing if I don't store the bottle on its side / upside down (and I rarely remember to).

Awesome looking concept art! Would love to see how it translates to miniature form
And I agree about the blood bowl models, much cooler with your heads on them!
The left two on the top row and the leftmost one on the bottom row are good. They look to be much more unique and interesting aliens than the sort of generic "space mantis" look of the others.
Upper row left and bottom row left is my favorites.
I get the Independence vibes as well.
Really loved that movie as a kid , but it hasn't aged very well. (although the aliens still hold up pretty good still; they must have been using a lot of practical effects)
More to the point What scale are these, any chance of a size comparison ?
Also will you only be producing the chosen few or will you be releasing all of them ?
Please please please sell all 6 as conversion bits! alien/insectoid heads for 28mm are non-existent and i have a pile of vespids without heads i would love to use these on.
can we get a scale pic for the heads?
PuppetsWar wrote: To be honest, personally I'm not a big fan of futuristic orcs, but I really, really like this model too
First signs of imminent invasion...
Which of the heads is the coolest one?
Scale... I'm unable to make new photos at the moment, but the grid on the picture is 1cm. We will, of course, make more bits and not only bits from this range
@Deadairis - I just heard that new arm for Destroyers designed for holding our various heavy weapons is currently being designed.

This is really great news. Both the Destroyer weapons and the larger range associated with those heads.
I like them all. I have picked up Rogue Stars and having the ability to toss out random aliens means loads of options. As much as I love you guy's infantry though, the vehicles are what I think I get most excited about.
I'm interested in the overall experience - time taken to dispatch the order/transit time.
Any photos of their stuff as it arrived? As in, not cleaned up/repaired/hole-filled, etc?
I'm interested to see if their production quality/QA has improved from a few years ago and what they're currently considering good enough to send out to customers. PW has some excellent sculpts, but the rest was all seriously sub-par a couple of years ago.
@Azazelx - try us with some small order. Australia... Well... Delivery time will be rather long I'm afraid. Our standard 12 bussiness days to complete order - usually faster, sometimes much faster, but we reserve these 12 days just in case. Then about a four-six weeks to Australia.
Azazel, I ordered 2 packs of their Skeleton Knights, 1 of their Barbarians, and 1 Two-Headed Cyclops last month.
All arrived quickly (around 2 weeks to the UK) and were visually great without apparent flaws, but two of the swords for the Skeleton Knights (the same two -- one from each pack) broke at what looks like a weak spot, on removing them from the sprue. I'm awaiting replacements which I believe should be here any day now. Apparently the PW staff have had no difficulty removing them safely from other sprues -- I will change my craft knife blade before trying to get the replacements off safely.

I have ordered from them a few times. Seems like the wait in the US, for me, has been consistently in the 3-4 week window. Last thing I ordered was the Prime Battle Walker I think.. there was some small flash and one or two extremely minor slippages.. but nothing on the model required more than a little bit of finishing work. Crisp detail, no warpage that I noticed, and the resin was very clean (not dripping in release or other stuff).
My verdict.. Great company and products.. just don't expect it next week necessarily.
I just ordered a gun bit recently and it went out in a week and a half, I believe. In the past I've made a few other orders and never had any issues with the quality.

Those arms were part of a large order I did approaching a year ago, which took a little longer to get to me, but a) was a lot of stuff and b) coincided with a sale, so neither were surprising. I've since ordered more stuff from PW - some terrain and more cyber bits - and got it in the typical 3 week range for anything Poland -> US. Always happy to order from PW, look forward to more once I finally paint some of this resin

That's a lot of air bubbles.. did you ask for replacements?
At least some of the spiky tips on almost all of the gun arms are bubbled out. I didn't ask for replacements, as I'm doing a 'rusted to hell and back' scheme on these lads and didn't particularly care / it adds to the look. But I suppose I could have? I guess I blame the industry for desensitizing me to resin casting QA issues

My bad I see what you mean now I was looking at the legs, completely missed that
EDIT: Will all visual styles be available in large and small or are the sizes in the previous picture pretty much it? Kinda like the idea of the spidery eyed heads smaller for those bodies..
I have always wondered.. It says 5 pads.. that's just 5 not 5 pairs correct? So, for a 5 man squad you would need 1 of these plus an additional of this or whatever suits your mood?
