It is pretty impressive.
For a smaller walker to pair with this, I'm going to be using it with the Gangfight Games medium mech from Mechadrome:
http://store.gangfightgames.com/mechadrome/free-agents/overkill-free-agent/
There's a lot of different arm options, although you might be able to use some Puppets War weapons with it. But the enclosed canopies are a great match!
Copying the links for the Puppets War Prime mech over to the new page (lots of specific weapon links are on the last page though, so well worth checking out):

You mean, like their Enforcer?
I have it and it's a great kit. Admittedly, the Mantic Strider might be closer to the look of that suit.
RiTides - I've always found the Mechadrome stuff to be prohibitively expensive. I like the idea though.

Post by: RiTides
Quick question - is this big walker suitable as a Knight stand-in, or is it not big enough? I know it's not as bulky (particularly in the shoulders) but if it's anywhere near that's what I'd like to use it as . Maybe mounting it up on top of some terrain.
I'd planned for a while to use the Mechadrome mechs as Ironclads and pair them with a Knight for a null deployment list (with the Knight being the only thing on the ground and so held in reserve) but never had a suitable Knight model to match them... until now
Edit: Took the plunge and ordered one! However, after you add the weapon options (which a Knight obviously comes with for the most part) it ends up being 2.5x the cost . I got:
100x 3x1mm MAGNET
50X 5X2MM MAGNET
---
GATLING GUN-pair
DOUBLE AUTOMATIC CANNON-pair
FLAME CANNON-pair
NUCLEAR HEATER-pair
AT CANNONS-pair
---
EPIC GATLING CANNON
EPIC AT CANNON
EPIC FLAME CANNON
EPIC LASER CANNON
EPIC PRIME BLADE
---
1xPRIME WALKER V1
I didn't order the missle attachment for the back since I don't plan to equip that and have other bits I could swap in. I also couldn't decide whether the gatling or automatic cannon would look better as a stubber, so got both and will use the extras for something else.
But yeah, after the guns it hurts a lot more . I guess it wouldn't if you only wanted to configure it one way, but it seems like folks will want options.

Post by: Red Corsair
To be fair you didn't need to order 15 weapons and all those magnets from them either
If you want a laugh check out a FW contemptor and then add 15 weapons to the cart and look at the balance
At 39 Euros that thing is criminally cheap even without guns. Heck I am tempted to buy a few to make a post mech battle set of terrain features.
9594
Post by: RiTides
Well it's really 5 weapons plus the little auxiliary ones. I probably could have used some existing ones, but if you just want a single set of weapons you're still looking at a lot more than 39 euros. Still think it's great and can't wait to get it obviously

Lol, yeah, the forge world's worth of weapons was optional.
@Puppets War: I was wondering if you guys cast the heads with the bodies for certain models. I was interested in picking up a squad of strikers but preferred a different head. Is it possible to substitute different heads if they're the same cost with the order? I was basically interested in making these guys.
1478
Post by: warboss
Thanks for that but I've been combing the site and it seems like the best way is to get striker squads and then add what I need like heads and jetpacks. With the air cav squad, the heads and the arms aren't the ones I need. They do sell the headless bodies you listed which leads me to believe that they're not casted together but they've also got the wrong arms (I want the double grip kwidowmaker set). Hopefully I can sub in a different set of heads for the same price.
I have to admit that despite following this thread that I was astonished by just how much Puppets War has in terms of sheer variety on their site! They've got really been busy the past months.

From my recent searches, it looks to be about 10%. The big stompy robot previewed earlier in this thread is quite reasonable. I did a bit of a double take when I saw it was more expensive for me to outfit my 10 elite troopers than it is to buy the huge robot! Although there is an argument to be made for the sheer amount of parts and individual molds for the various bits... but all that resin in the giant robot! I don't know if that is a lower than normal intro price on the big bot.

I placed my order on October 23rd. Today being November 9th, I just got a shipping notification. That's 2 and a half weeks from the time my order was placed until shipping. By business days that is 12 business days exactly so what you said holds up. It's just a little disappointing that there was so much of a wait before the item even shipped. You might want to make a note about that on the website so people's expectations match your business practices (in a place that is obvious). People ordering something like this for Christmas need to get their orders in fast because sometimes shipping from Poland to US etc can take a month+.
94981
Post by: PuppetsWar
MLaw - I know that waiting sucks, period. But large part of our models is being casted for specific orders, and it takes time - we are small (very small) company with very limited number of resources - employees, etc. And this waiting period is clearly indicated on our website. http://puppetswar.com/cms.php?id_cms=1
We REALLY try hard to send orders ASAP, sometimes it is just very, very hard - hence 12 working days limit.
And today I can show a construction site, of sorts. Start of a new building model.

It's cool, I hadn't seen that shipping section before. I'm not mad or anything, I just wanted to point out for anyone else thinking of ordering for the holidays. The shipping time alone is a roll of the dice (a week or two or a month or two) so anyone looking for gifts needs to make sure they are aware of that, which can be easy to overlook when you're buying gifts from site to site! I know you guys are super busy.. as many products as you have lined up, I'm surprised you're shipping at all RE: That construction..thing? I hope that's some kind of mech bay! MLaw wrote:Is the far left walker (the turret and Enforcer legs) available as a thing? That would be a neat addition to something I'm putting together.
Since I have all those things, I can comment on them. Simply put, the answer is a definite Yes. I'll list and link all the mecha and APC main bodies, minus weapons and the infantry.
The two on the left are Enforcer Battlewalkers. The left one just uses the Walker legs with a MK II Turret and weapons, while the right one is a full Battlewalker kit. The MKII Turret is separate or sold with various weapon attachments, so you can take one with weapons or simply choose the weapons separately and add them on your own. The Enforcer legs also work with the Cerberus Turret system as well.
Enforcer Legs
MK II Turret
MK II Turret Gatling
MK II Turret Missiles
Enforcer Battlewalker
Cerberus Turret
Then you have the two Prime Battlewalkers V3 and V1.
Prime Battlewalker V3
Prime Battlewalker V1
Just in front of the Prime Battlewalker V1 there is a Tracked Platform vehicle that is also compatible with the MKII Turret systems as well.
Tracked Turret Platform
And finally to the right of that is the Taurus-APC, Brick version, also available in Exterminator version which comes with a pair of machine guns and the MKII Turret.

Good call..I think I actually might have a few of those in a bin somewhere. I'll have to rummage a bit but that could work nicely. Come to think of it.. I think I bought a bunch of Paulson stuff when they were put on hiatus a while back.
Basically.. I'm trying to do a Mechwarrior type thing that I think I mentioned before. The Enforcer, plus a turret on Enforcer legs would serve well as light mechs (I know in MW standards they're still bigger than this.. don't care). The Prime Walker will be a Med or Heavy. I have stuff for a Vulture conversion and a few other things.. I plan on doing a custom scenario with my boys

Are you talking about the Epic Gatling for the Prime? That is the nice thing is they don't come with any weapons so you can choose which ones you want to add independently. The Epic Gatling (52mm long), underslung to the hand designed to fit in with the 5x2mm magnet holes. The regular gatling doesn't have the underslung part, but you can make it work and is 55mm long. It might look out of place, but could also work depending on how you do it. You can also look at Paulson Games mech weapons as the majority of them are compatible, give a different look, that mix really well with Puppet Wars designs perfectly. Add magnets and choose them all. ^_^
I PM'd my entry for now.. I'll post it on Facebook later, but I didn't want to spoil it too early. I think people would be surprised how many products are visible. ^_^ or maybe they won't be.

Without looking, my initial thought is that the diameter should be fine but I think the length might leave it looking stumpy. Automatically Appended Next Post: Okay.. so I checked.. I don't have the epic gatling just the plain one and battlecannon... which.. my order was supposed to be one battle cannon and one flame thrower..or.. something else but I know I didn't order 2 battle cannons.. (I just realized this). Anyway.. the diameter would fit for a conversion of the regular gatlin to the epic mount, but it would require some cutting and pinning. The length of the Gatling is the same as the length of the cannon barrel. EDIT: Okay.. so looking back at my order on PW.. I actually did only order 1 AT cannon and they threw in a bonus, so it was a freebie, not a mispack. I guess I was planning on picking up the flame thrower on the order I'll be placing next week

And now I am curios if the Dreamforge Games 15mm Weapons would fit.
they have the best looking (in my opinion) Knight size Gatling and Siege gun out there

MLaw - links, names - both are fine. Box shaped launcher idea is being passed to the design team. They may have some other ideas of course...

please make separate leg pieces of those models and sell them "cheap" (If they are affordable in big amounts I see me converting 6k of Space Wolves with new legs)

And the ruins around them? Leftovers from the party.
The smaller guys in front are obviously groupies with their party bus on the right (the APC) and the tracked sound system behind them - complete with a radar-dish like strobe-light system. For all of your dancing and mech-party needs.

First things first...
Winner of our competition is Dave Clarke, he missed just one thing on the photo, single telegraph pole. Congratulations.
Second... Square shaped missile launcher will be produced. I don't know when it will be available but it will definitely be made and it will be "done in the free time". It may be really soon, it may be few monts from now...
Third - this little vehicle on the group photo is Turret Platform mounting a Radar Station/
Fourth thing - making legs separate will be difficult - our armors are made as one piece with torsos... But I will pass this idea of course.

I imagine the design process was something like this:
Sculptor A: Guys, guys, listen up. We need to top this giant robot somehow, make it even cooler... Any ideas?
*long silence as everyone thinks the same thing, until a lone voice speaks up*
'Give it a... jetpack?'
'YES! Brilliant!'
It definitely looks awesome!
82903
Post by: MLaw
That jetpack is very very cool.
I suggest an alternate leg attachment with non-reverse joint legs more like a human leg. This will raise the overall height of the walker but will also allow a different silhouette so 2 walkers can look even more distinct next to each other.
Another suggestion, shoulder pads with mounts for weapon systems. Look at the designs for Mechwarrior Online by Piranha games for some ideas on what I mean... or maybe just attachments that fit onto the existing chassis to add missile ports and similar.

Look great. I'd throw a vote out for arms with no hands on them -- gun or weapon "arms." Would also sure love to see themed versions coming along, e.g., droids with iconography sculpted on.
Would also really love to see rippers/paladins/etc. with firearms and/or shoulder or back mounted weapons.

Express assembly

Post by: RiTides
Hmm, I'm not sure about that, since then a new order is jumping old ones! I think I'd rather just see if the prep time for all orders could be reduced by a day or two (just my preference )
60720
Post by: OrlandotheTechnicoloured
I'd be concerned about my 'standard' order taking longer just because somebody else paid for an expedited service
(even if it wasn't the case)
I think it's a bad idea especially when you factor in orders that take longer than normal either because you cant get them cast when you expected to(staff illness/holiday/run out of resin/need new moulds etc), a significant (minority) number of customers in this situation will probably end up angry and upset and just not belive you didn't deliberately slow down their order so somebody else could jump the queue
2590
Post by: the_Armyman
Being completely unfamiliar with resin casting or its pitfalls, why does it take 12 working days to fill an order? That sounds excessive. And a service that allows someone to jump the line seems like a really good way to piss off customers.
86322
Post by: Dark Severance
I have to admit I'm kinda of disappointed. I thought it was going to be a new service that cleaned and assembled the miniatures for you. Instead it is was a express order... oddly I'm actually ok waiting 2 weeks but then again I order a lot of things from Japan so I'm used to the slow boat.

It seems to be mostly volume of orders and relative size of their shop that makes it a 12 day lead time to fulfillment.
42470
Post by: SickSix
PW you guys know I have been one of your biggest fans since nearly the beginning. I have also been an honest critic.
I have to agree that I think this is a bad idea. Your handling time is pretty long as is. Now, true or not, someone may feel their order is delayed further because you guys are more focused on getting the 'express' orders out the door.
I think it would be much better if you could find a way to reduce your overall handling time for EVERYONE.
Paying for faster service is like 'pay to win' in video games and genrally pisses off more than a few people. You guys have made tons of ground in the PR department over the last year. This could be a big step back.

I think they have delibratly chosen a high number of days that they can comfortable guarantee not exceeding. If it can b packed faste than it's a bonus. (It went faster last time I ordered, though that was a few years ago).
Also, I presume that everything is not in stock in great quantities so sometimes stuff need to be casted 'a la minute' so to speak.

Almost as awkard will be when you get a load of priority orders at once, and all of them require replacing moulds and doing a bunch of casting from scratch
you;ll end up with at least some of them going out late and having paid for express treatment those 'premium' customers aren't going to be happy either
(just look at the grief Amazon is not getting as their next day delivey from prime just isn't working reliably, and people used to praise them for their shipping, lots of unhappy shoppers out there about that)

I have to agree with this. Unless you've got a large enough back-end to ensure that this will never happen (something I highly doubt), then this is only a road to heart break and upset customers.

Post by: warboss
Yeah, I'm not a fan of classifying customers in separate tiers. Express shipping is fine but customer orders should be processed in the order they were received first and by ease of manufacture second (so if you're already spinning a particular mold for an item that is out of stock then you run off one more for an order later down the queue since that saves lots of people time). You don't charge people for the priveledge of skipping the retail line. What's next? An optional 10% surcharge to make sure you get the absolute best case of your item with less bubbles/flash/etc from the available stock? It's a dangerous and slippery slope to head down.

I'm guessing email, that's where I'll send mine anyway...
And if I could chip in on this express assembly thing I think you should scrap it as soon as possible. Not to sound like a whining child but it just doesn't seem fair to everyone who does not want to pay for it as it implies they wait even longer as others are pushing their way to the front of the line so to speak.
Maybe do the same thing that Forgeworld does? Spend a ludicrous amount of money (theirs is around $500) and that qualifies you for free express shipping. That way the customer has more incentive to spend even more money for a better reward. After all, getting your order processed in two days still means a two or three week wait for the Polish postal service to get their act together and send the darn thing!

Dear Santa,
I have always loved puppetswar models, and have some of their bits scattered around my spacewolves army. I recently started creating my own game and am currently playtesting it.
I based my description (vaguely) off of some of their model range and it would be awesome to have models on the table that look the way I envisioned them.
I've been a good husband and father, and I've worked very hard to ensure my family got what they needed. Please, let me get something this cool under my Christmas tree this year!
Thank you.

Dear Santa,
I recently bought some Space Insect Heads from Puppets War to use for conversions.
I love the design of these heads, which I think represent some of the most original work Puppets War has ever done. And the heads definitely fill a niche, as there aren't very many rational-looking, highly developed Insect Aliens on the market right now.
But that open niche also leaves me without any cultured space insect bodies to put the heads on that will do them justice. Yes, I could put them on any humanoid trooper body, but have you seen these heads? They are brilliant! I'd love to see their design aesthetic carried over into their bodies. Nothing else will look quite as good, and they deserve it.
So I'm asking for this Christmas for Puppets War to consider making sci-fi, technologically armored, insectile bodies to go with their Space Insect Heads. I would love to see them produce a bipedal body type with four arms sporting hi-tech equipment. I also think these could go great with the Cyber Invader / Insectoid Swarm models that they already do.
Puppets War Space Insect bodies, Santa. Their current non-existence is one of the great injustices of the world, and only you and your elves have the power to change that.
Dare to make a difference this holiday season.
Sincerely yours,
Vermonter

First post today... as we would like to answer for some questions and opinions concerning our Express Assembly option.
It happens that our customers ask for a express shipping - this is the reason behind this service. If there is someone there willing to pay extra, his order will be prepared - for extra cost - faster.
After long tries we came to the conclussion that we are able to ship SOME of the orders faster. Don't get us wrong - models still need to be casted and be packed. Two days is THE MINIMUM we are able to do that.
We don't expect huge volume of such "Express Assembly" orders and we think that minor numbers of them will not negatively impact our standard orders. If we will be wrong, we will remove "Express Assembly" option, of course. Still, we think that we will be able to prepare small number of orders a little faster.
Company changes all the time, we constantly strive to improve our technological process, as we want to deliver best quality products for reasonable prices. We constantly try to improve time of preparing orders too, we are getting better with each passing year.
Period of 12 working days, which is indicated in our webstore for preparing orders gives us some time for unexpected occurances. And believe us - they do happen. Currently we are able to send 99% of orders faster (or even much faster) then those 12 days.
We hope that this answer some of your concerns. Automatically Appended Next Post: Second of the new services was announced today:
Gift wrapping
Gift wrapping service added to your order will change way we pack order for you. Products will be packed in decorative way inside regular mail package.

Dear Santa,
Now this may be a new concept but when I was birthed from your workshop, many moons ago, I absorbed much of the intelligence (and fluids) of several elves, becoming the super doll Freya Lilith Ivy.
No doubt that name springs fear even still!
So what have I to write to you about? Well I am glad you asked!
It has come to my attention that this company in particular has some very entertaining heads that remind me of Kamen Rider and other Power Ranger sort of shows.
I enjoy watching them and felt, when I saw them, that perhaps I can put my love of these sorts of shows into model wargaming!
I hope you can make a small doll's dream come true...
If not, then I will be forced to open the seal and release the bees.
Your friend, Ivy.

Dear Santa, it all started when my wife went to the doctor the other day. She told me she was having headaches and needed a quick checkup. Fool as I was, I believed her. She seemed quite nervous when she left, and I detected a note of excitement in her voice as she said goodbye. She also wore her nicest pantyhose and carried a big bag with her, which should've tipped me off, but I was a bit out of it from sniffing plastic glue fumes all night while building models, and didn't think much of it at the time. Anyway, as the hours went on, I began to wonder how thourough this doctor had to be to take this long for a normal examination. So I decided to go check on her. I packed my Space Marine Scouts in my bag, for luck, and drove to the doctor's office. Her car was still there and I wondered if my worst fears would be confirmed. Clutching a Scout in my hand to become more stealthy, I discreetly sneaked up to a window and peeked in. Inside was an old nurse typing on a computer, which was nothing out of the ordinary. What was though, was the fact that she was browsing the Puppet Wars website! I was stunned and decided to sneak into the facility to find my wife. As I stealthily made my way into the office, I was nearly discovered many times. Once I had to throw my Scout into an opposing corridor to lure away a nosy guard who was very close to my hiding place. The place was strangely empty. No patients, no nurses... as I approached a big room at the end of the hall, I suddenly heard laughter ringing through the halls. Was this it? Would I find my wife in these blasted corridors? Was she kidnapped? I had to find out. Quickly peeking around the corner to make sure no one was around, I made my way to the big double doors that led to the room where the laughter had originated. I started hearing more voices, male, female... all laughing and seemingly having a grand ol' time. What were they doing? I stealthily cracked the door open just a few inches, and peeked through... "PENETRATING HIT!!!!" There she was, in her nicest clothes, standing over a table and rolling dice, moving Space Marines around on the table... and on the other side of the table, the doctor! The room was full of people playing 40k, and I was stunned. My God! This whole doctor's office was just a front for a secret 40k tournament league, and my wife was part of it! She had lied to my face, hidden models around the house and painted them when I was asleep! My vision was blurring and I was feeling faint. As I heard "INSTANT DEATH ON YOUR WARLORD, BITCH!" in the voice of my wife of 20 years, the world turned black, and I felt myself falling. ...and that, Santa, is why I need some cute cherubs. http://puppetswar.com/product.php?id_product=95

Dear Santa,
Frankly, me and the lads have had a bit of a shocker this year. First it was the plasma gun – honestly, what kind of army goes and gives its guys weapons that blow up on 'em on the first use? I mean it wasn't all bad, I'd read the health and safety and all that, so it only took off one of my arms, but still... come on. How am I now meant to point inspiringly in the direction of the enemy for the boys to see, morale's hit an alltime low!
And don't even get me started on Dave. We was fighting this bunch of greenskins yeah, and one of the mentals went and headbutted him, right in the face. What's that about? The thing had a huge blooming axe for Emperor's sake, at what point did the forehead become the weapon of choice? At least Dave lived, but you should of seen his helmet man – half of it's still buried in the poor guy's face. We gave him a sack to wear instead, proper burlap stuff like, not the cheap rubbish – I care about my lads' safeties you know. But it's safe to say that its battle-presence overlays are... somewhat lacking. Plus it's not exactly doing the gang any favours when we hit the bars on leave, if you get my drift? It seems the ladies these days lack a good appreciation of hessian craftwork and solid stitching.
Stew's all right though, but some horn-helmeted nutter went and used a chainsaw to cut right through his freaking bolter. Fortunately, he's a creative lad and all, got a BTEQ in art and everything, so he's managed to fashion a very convincing replica out of sticks and mud. But while the Stickinator 3000 may represent the pinacle of the noble art of timber-based xenos extermination, its primarily splinter based injuries ain't doing that much for the glory of the Imperium.
Oh and then there's Jeff. Idiot went and got himself blown off the side of a building didn't he. A million and one automated armour functions and the klutzer still goes and gets both his legs crushed stacking the landing. We managed to get him hooked into a freight loader, but... well... have you tried re-wiring one of those things with just the one arm? I may have slightly ballsed up the servitor's connections, just a little like. Sometimes it gets a little confused about telling left from right, but to be fair there's no guarantee it wasn't like that before my work... Anyway, last week it maybe, kinda slammed him into a building fast enough to bring the whole thing down.
So, yeah. Please Santa help us out with some new gear, even the Grotz have started laughing at us these days, and have you tried getting Grot-dung out of burlap? Nightmare.
From,
Brian

Dear Santa,
It has been surprisingly a good year and I have been really good. We weren't sure how it was going to turn out since our son who is autistic was starting High School for the first time. High School for myself was not the best of times and he has had issues in Elementary School so we could only imagine the worse for High School. Fortunately it has turned out really well without any issues and surprisingly no issues with bullying because he isn't like everyone else. He seems happy and has found a little niche to fit in. For his good behavior he just might earn the keys to his very own Taurus AFV Exterminator. Obviously he wouldn't get the keys until he passes his driving test first. We are after all responsible parents.
The last few weeks however have been a bit rough. In the NorthWest here we have unfortunately been hit with a lot more rain than normal. I know we live in Portland and that means it always rains, but the whole NorthWest has had hard weather which has resulted in a lot of flooding and sinkholes appearing. The rain has caused delays, flooding and even our own sump pump went out in the basement. This has forced me to take drastic measures and order a Prime Battlewalker for my commute into work. It has definitely helped deal with the traffic, letting me move the cars out of the way and get through the flooded areas. Not to mention it has cut my hour and half commute in half. This has unfortunately caused some other drivers and citizens to become upset that I did need to employ some Strike Force to run security and watch over it.
The mini-army and vehicle though has had a negative effect mainly making my wife very jealous. This hasn't made the home environment very healthy. Just the other day she ordered her own Prime Battlewalker as well. This has unfortunately created a rift in the family because we only have room to park one of them in the garage. She doesn't want to leave her on the street where it can be stolen or vandalized. And because of her love of anything Asian themed she decided to order up a Bushi Striker security force. She has tried to talk a couple of them into using Space Insect headgear because they remind her of Kamen Riders, and other than having her own private army of ninja men, nothing was better to her than Kamen Rider ninja men.
We have been at odds since, constantly struggling for control and who has the right for the parking place in the garage. Given our forces that we employ and configurations, we have been evenly matched in terms of power. We are fairly evenly skilled but we are fearful this power struggle could destroy not only the city, our house, but also the family in the process. The children have holed up into a defensive perimeter with their own Battlewalkers on guard. They however have been trying to stay out it and not draw attention, since they only have a few MKII Turrets in defense as well.
I am writing to seek help from you Santa and believe you can hold the key to bringing this family back together again. We need your assistance from you to have your Evil Santa Helpers help lead an even larger Nightmare or Cyber Invader force to fight us. Now I know it may seem strange to want to bring another army into the city but it really is for a noble purpose. If we can muster an even larger, greater force than either myself or my wife employ by ourselves, then we will have to join forces. Not only is this for the good of the family but also for the city to fight off this scourge. In the end it will help bring about peace on this Earth because after all we all just want a little bit of peace this holiday season... so that we can destroy our enemies with our armies. I mean... spread cheer and goodwill towards all. Plus after they are defeated we can use their bodies to help shore up the river banks and build a second garage, thus preventing future flooding in the city and bringing peace to the house.
Thank you,
Sincerely,
a family divided hoping to become united once again

I might be naughty Santa, but I've got some good men in my ranks and they don't deserve to be murdered by an orcish quarterback. What do you say? Can you drop a suit of Termos armour my way?

"Dear Santa" competition is over and we have two winners!
There was a lot of funny and very well written entries, we have had some problems with choosing two "the best", as many of them were truly great. In the end we decided that we are liking two letters most. First of them was written by Tom Bisbee on our Facebook profile, second by Dark Severance from of DakkaDakka forum fame
You will find them attached at the end of this note. We will contact winners after Christmas, they will get 40 EUR vouchers for bying some gifts from our webstore.
Congratulations and thanks for participation
Merry Christmas everyone!
Tom Bisbee letter:
Tom Bisbee Dear Santa,
I am a huge fan! I love Christmas so much that I have made a humble effort to combine it with one of my other favorite things: Puppets War miniatures. And so with no further ado, I present for your edification my own personal version of "Twas the Night Before Christmas"...
Twas the night before Christmas
And all through the store,
Gamers were dreaming of minis by the score.
Tacticians were nestled all snug in thier beds
while visions of Crusaders danced through thier heads.
And having put all the gamers to bed,
I lay down myself, to rest my bald head.
When up from the rooftop, there arose such a clatter,
I rolled for my missile launcher
(and then rolled for scatter).
The template went wide
and I shook my head.
And spied in the store, a figure in red.
He was a jolly old elf (the fantasy kind, not space)
and he smiled with a cheerful look on his face.
Waking not one wargamer,
this man filled the display cases
with orcs and insectiods and various sized bases.
He delivered the minis and turned to me with a nod.
As if to say "This isn't the slightest bit odd".
He shot back up the chimney
like an ogre on the charge.
His sack of minis still full
with models both small and large.
8 Barghest Fiends drew his sled into the sky
and I watched him depart with a tear in my eye.
But as he rode away and out of sight, he called,
"Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!"
Dark Severance letter:
Dear Santa,
It has been surprisingly a good year and I have been really good.
If you look at the link for the APC.. it's roughly Chimera sized.. I can't imagine you're using proxies in a setting that would require a strict footprint.. so you could probably use it as a Russ with no problem. There's an image with a human-sized infantry next to it on the APC entry.

I am happy to see an Ursus APC. I like those tracks. However my only complaint is that the style of the tracks doesn't really match the armor style of the hull. The hull is much smoother and hi-tech looking while the tracks are more primitive looking with lots of rivets.

I just discovered them, I'm behind the times! I plan to do a headswap (it's a separate piece) for an armored boar head, and convert the tail, to use these as battle boars in a Hordes minions army (Lord Carver, 8 battle boars, 4 splatter boars, bone grinders, gobber chef). With 8 needed, multiple poses is crucial, so I'm hoping I can convert these up to work - will certainly post pics if it's a success

Generic, rectangular shields. The shields currently in your product line have very specific looks.
Some that are rectangular and not covered in various details could be very good sellers as they'd have a wide variety of applications as pavises, riot gear, boarding shields etc.

Guessing they fit on a 40mm round base, ala Necron wraiths? Google is just giving me pics of the MK1 'pods, not the newer ones with their big bulky tales. This pic would help me more if I knew how large the other Cyber Things are: This shot makes them look huge, even if the lil' four-legger droid goes on a 25mm. - Salvage

Assorted shoulder pad multi-packs. Black Legion or Deathwatch armies both incorporate members of many different chapters/legions/warbands, and for those of use just looking to do a small number of them, it would be lovely to be able to buy a pack with one of each kind of shoulder pad.
Mostly? Space elves! There are third-party space marines and space Orks and space robots everywhere you look, but there are very few space elves which aren't Games Workshop. Some more options on that front would be amazing!

Absolutely! I was going to suggest space elves myself, but I didn't because I thought nobody else cared. Games Workshop's Eldar are grossly out of date and also hideously proportioned. If we could get some Puppetswar-quality alternate "space elves", I'd probably put together a whole army of them. Seriously - the ancient, ugly sculpts and awful "heroic scale" proportions are the only reason I don't have a real Eldar army (alongside there being zero alternatives on the market). A full compliment of Aspect Warrior-style miniatures would be great, of course, but honestly I'd be happy with just a single squad of basic, generic, Guardian style elves in truescale. Oh, and female ones! Actually, if squads were divided into, say, 5-packs of all-male and all-female, that'd be wonderful.
As for other suggestions, I'd really love some more demons in the same style as the Barghest Fiends and Harpyes. It's surprisingly difficult to find really nice demon miniatures, and I'd love to be able to represent the diverse, hellish weirdness of the Warp in ways that Games Workshop's very limited Chaos Daemons range just can't.
EDIT: One last thing (sorry!) - all I said about Space Elves can also be applied to Gothic Space Nuns. Just saying.

Well, you could also use "Sisterhood Battalion". Space Elves could be called "Aeldar", since GW think that "aelf" is an acceptably unique name for elves in Age of Sigmar. Or "Sisters of Neglect".
Those closed helmets are definitely cool. They really demonstrate how swapping a few parts can really make a model unique. I think that's a real strength of the PW stuff, especially the Strikers.

It does come with everything pictures. It is "7 resin pieces of iron fence and double gate". In other words there are 7 pieces of the fence, plus there are 2 double gates for a total of 9 fence pieces. That does also include the 13 fence parts for the innards of the gate. It can be a bit confusing the way it is phrased.

I haven't gotten a shipping confirmation for an order I placed Dec 30th (Order #013803, although the Order Confirmation email says 31st, I guess due to time zone differences).
Has anyone else placed an order since then and gotten a shipping notice?

Did you register and sign up on the website? If you are can you check your order status there?
The last order I did was 11/18/2015. It was marked "Ready for shipment" on 12/09/2015 but wasn't actually tagged as "Shipping" until 12/15/2015. Otherwise there was 11/03/2015 ordered, marked "Ready for shipment" 11/14/2015 and then marked "Shipping" 11/18/2015.
Although I'd probably say another week given schedule as that was on the tail end of holidays.

Today it is twelfth working day. It was probably shipped, but I will check this order number.

It occurred to me to mention one last thing about those totally original Gothic Space Nuns. If there's even the slightest chance that they'll be considered, I want to add that they need to not be "sexy". They'd need stompy boots, not high heels, armour and reinforced chests, not skintight metal with corsets and boob-cups. It's really easy to keep the same style, too; just extend their armoured collar/gorget down their chest. All knightly and such.
So correct that to Gothic Space Nuns in Heavy Armour That Look Cool And Not Sexy. That'd make a lot of people very happy.

Dark Severance - Thanks for that, didn't realize I could just check it on the website which is kind of obvious in hindsight. Whoops!
Puppets War also messaged me showing it shipped on the 14th, and I got the shipping email notice this morning (odd that the shipping notice came a week later, maybe it was just a glitch with the email system?).
Really appreciate the prompt response, thanks very much guys!

The difference between shipping and notification is due to waiting time for tracking number from Postal Office. We receive them few days after actual shipping.
Today we would like to show one of the reviews of our products, This particular one was published on Brueckenkopf Online website and shows our Prime Battlewalker

What's the total length of the river using all pieces?
Or length of each piece if you want to get into that?
Saw the bridge was 150mm, are the other pieces about the same?

I've always wanted to do a river terrain piece. There's some cool videos on using layers and layers of glossy mod podge (from the dollar store ) and a hair dryer to create a really nice water effect. You would have to paint these first with the appropriate colors (I'd probably do a muddy brown with green) then do each layer on top. Since these are resin I'd probably avoid the hot setting. Also.. ABOUT that Prime walker jump pack?? Is it coming soon? I would like to buy one for my walker and .. to test fit for a conversion for a helicopter model that I think could be made into a futuristic VTOL.

Total length is about 130 cm, counting all bends. Maybe slightly more.
And I want to apologize. Yesterday I asked about sending your suggestions via e-mail because it would be more convenient for us (me). Forget it. This thread is specifically for such suggestions, propositions, ideas, etc. It should be convenient for You - our customers, not us

Precise length is 54 inches. So about 138 cm.
And our new release. In response to numerous requests we have prepared for you sets of werewolf models base on wolfman accessories and valhalla strike armours. Same as with valhalla force those are available in set of five and twenty models.

Any news on the Knight-styled Strikes previewed a few months ago (carried a sword, wore armour and a tabard)? I seem to recall you guys saying they'd be released soon, but I don't remember them ever actually appearing on the store (unless I missed them).

I'm glad the eagle theme isn't too heavy on those bikes. I already have a ton of DA Bikers but those would look great as Templars.

The bikes have robes (or caparisons, I suppose)! Surprisingly, it works well.

I have a suggestion Puppetswar: Could you consider adding terminal points to the rivers? Like.. a small pond or maybe just runoff like it starts getting rocky and fanning out like a transition into just regular non-water terrain? As big as these are, I would imagine they are internally cooled. Especially given that they're meant to be operated on an assortment of atmospheres/environments.

Hey guys,
Just want to pass on my thanks for the order I placed a little while back now.
It was predominately for head swaps on my Black Templars and Night Lords, but I'm really happy with the casts, and I'm 100% certain you threw in a few extras for me!
Those Crusder bike heads have me interested!
You can check out what they look like, (some painted) on my plogs in my sig.
Thanks again PW!

Those sensors are cool.
What may not be obvious to everyone without going to the product's page and exploring a little, is that they do have holes for magnets. So any of those open peg/magnet slots you might have don't have to be left bare anymore!
I like it.. subtle but very useful

And today something totally different.
We would like to show demo version of first Chess set by our design. This one is inspired by Greek mythology but in mind we have whole range of highly detailed chess boards and pieces including fantasy, historical and sci-fi theme.
We would like to know what do you think of that idea and what kind of chess set you would like to see on your shelf.

That is pretty damn fantastic, some superb designs there. What kind of production methods will be used for these? Coloured resins? Some other material? Any rough estimates on cost yet?

Product looks fantastic!

Post by: RiTides
Will you be selling it cast in two different colors like that, with a wash applied to bring out the detail? I'm guessing that's what is shown there, and it looks quite good!!
I would be interested in a fantasy set although the Greek mythology one is not really as targeted for this market, of course. Like Paradigm, I'd love to know what the general pricepoint area you're looking at for these is.
Finally, one suggestion - a hollow area of the base that is easy to add a weight to (for example, to fill with BBs / pellets). If this option were available, I would probably fill mine and put felt on the bottom, too, although I wouldn't necessarily expect them to come like that. But making it possible for someone to weight the pieces would be really appreciated - especially with how tall some of those are!
It would probably be as simple as leaving it hollow in the bottom area - and someone could use pellets + hot glue to fill it, then cover with felt (which can also be hot-glued in place). You may want to include the small squares of felt in this case, or just a sheet of felt that the user could cut up with scissors if you don't have an easy way to cut it up there (a low powered laser cutter is probably ideal).

Wow! That is one sweet chess set!
Also handy if you ever want to build a ruined temple terrain piece!
I kind of want to see what you could do with an entire mythological army, these sculpts are right on the money.

Wow. Those Taurus rooks are awesome.
Man you guys have come so far.
Honestly I would like to see a sci-fi Chess set inspired by your current striker and chaotic forces.

Post by: MLaw
Cool! A suggestion for future sets:
Classic monsters (Vampire, Frankenstein's Monster, Fishman, Wolfman, etc)
Angels and Demons
Steampunk

Angels and demons, now that's an idea!

I was actually going to suggest both of those!

Will those heads fit Space Marines? I understand the last set of Iron Mutant heads were Guardsman sized.
82604
Post by: MacMuckles
Those are excellent! As others have said, angels and demons, steampunk (I'm thinking automotons, what do others think?) but I'd like to suggest a set for Chinese Terracotta warriors (either historical or fantastical would be cool)
77159
Post by: Paradigm
I'm thinking clockwork/steam-powered automatons for Pawns, well-dressed (by which I mean MASSIVE hats) Gentlemen and Ladies for the King and Queen, mad professor types for bishops, mechanical animals for Knights, large cannons or something for Rooks.

While I like the classic look of the pieces, the board itself got me more interested.
One talking point that frequently gets tossed around is “Make a chess set from your army” Having themed boards could be fun. Could be interesting to have a build-you-own system, where you have different styles of squares, and could match the army. Not that far off from resin bases, just need to be squares big enough to fit under the pieces.
Stempunk, urban industrial, demon world, etc.

Post by: Mutter
Would love some of them as single pieces to use as terrain in Malifaux or Frostgrave - probably wouldn't buy a whole set, but a few single ones would be really cool.
Even better if it was with a fantasy theme.

Post by: Theophony
How about expanding the board, or having expansions for it? Have the center of the board be the center of a Blood Bowl Pitch, just continue the squares outward, or have the pitch come in segments and the center be the chess set. Then you can have your chess pieces be the different races and slug it out on the pitch or go classic on their and take out their king.

Lots of really nice ideas here, we are taking notes and paying attention. Unfortunately, I can't tell anything more at this point... More details will be available soon though and I think that many of You guys (and gals, hopefully too) will find our sets interesting.
And yes, of course, pieces will be great for some monuments, living statues, etc. too
And today, one of our earlier releases.
Something rotten for all your rotten armies.

Yep, will certainly be watching for it and totally understand if you can't give away anything else. Looking forward to more sets when they are ready! And really hope they are made so they can be weighted so folks don't tip over those nice pieces.
