When we attack later, itll just be the classic scrum. But i agree on focussing on targets: the more we actually kill, the less there are to fight back. Higher level folks infected everyone at the same time would also work well.

Don't get disheartened lads, not many of us took part in that attack. They deliberately reinforced the place and yet, we still gained xp and still took some of them with us. It wasn't great, yeah, but its how zeds work, through attrition. We'll keep attacking it and eventually break through - its the way it works in sieges, it just happens spontaneously, and as the more of you get brain rot, the harder for them it'll be.

True. I normally am off because I'm used as a battering ram against barricades... But I was human briefly and thought clearly!

What a pity, I logged in just one minute after Officer Twayne made a little speech. He talked so much that I might have killed him while he was typing. Alas, he had already fled the scene when I looked around.

The current attack schedule is virtually impossible for me at the moment, so is there a way to set up an alternate time for those who can't attack at the primary time? Also, I wouldn't put it past these guys to be reading our thread and preparing to defend at that time, since it seems like the impromptu attacks have taken longer to repulse.

What is a good time for you to attack?

We probably have three or four different groups that attack.

8 AM EST = 1 PM BST is Kronk's time.

European folks probably need a 7 PM BST group.

North Americans need a 10 PM EST group that would also allow the west coast folks to get home from work in time.

Down Under group?

He's made it to my black list now. Target number 1 when we get back in there

After this week, 10 PM EST would be the best for me.

Where I am right now, the 1 PM BST attacks happen at 2 AM

Having 30 active players will do that. Everyone has been doing great while keeping it fun and loose!
We do need to be very keen to prevent zerging! Easysauce and Azenine, please move your alts as fething far from Vinetown as you can. There are few things that cannot be forgiven in Malton, but zerging is never forgotten. The game allows donors to have alts but they must function in surburbs that are FAR apart. Running in and out only a few neighborhoods away is not sufficient.

See tirade above. Please pick one character to play in Vinetown and send the other one far, far away. We're sparring with a lot of nice human players and we want their groups to enforce the no zerging rule too. Note that the penalty for zerging is usually your name on a Wiki hitlist and your own group usually kills you on sight. So move your alts and let us know that you have gotten them far away!

There is, might be under the title ransack maybe? I'd focus on the damaging or toughening skills first though, but it is very handy.

I'm in Mayer and I have no option for attacking the cubist sculpture for example.

On the plus side I can however hit kronk, so a mixed bag all in all.

OK, so Maver and Shyar are down, and we need to keep them down. Ideally we need bodies in each, with at least 10 in Shyar.

IN THE MEANTIME, FEEL FREE TO RUIN BUILDINGS IN THE LOCAL VICINITY, particularly between Maver and Shyar. The two hospitals (particularly Gelasius) either side will also be full of tasty treats, so have at it!

And fall back to either Shyar or Maver when you're done storming the castle!

Ransack is the skill that allows both ransack and ruin. For the newer zeds, you have to ruin a building, that is free of standing humans, five times before you can ruin it. The XP is lousy since you only get 1 XP total for the six AP you spend to ruin a building. So it is better for you to let the older zombies handle the ruining.

As Kronk said, these suburbs around Shyar Cinema do not have many zombies. That's why we provide a valuable civic service by giving all of these survivors something to survive. The Dead and The Dead 2.0 once roamed here but I have not seen many of them.

I would like to say killing Kronk was done philosophically on the why not proviso, unfortunately it was me not realising attacking "a zombie" was attacking Kronk, he's in my contact list so i assumed the "zombie" i was attacking was a reanimated human.

I hurt my teeth chewing on his cowbell, on the positive side it was the most xp i've earned in a while. He was a slippery customer it took me about 7 swipes at 50% success rate to get him from 8-6 hp.

The humans are being very inactive. Perhaps they are gathering ammo, syringes, manpower, and APs.

Tilly Row Police Department in Pegton and Ling Police Department in Vinetown make good refit/reload points for the Harmanz!

Gelasius General Hospital is another good staging point for them.

I've been playing dark and I turned my old Caiger Survivor from the ASI onto hard mode, I think Grakmar has joined me on that. My Zed is running around Vinetown as standard, but I see a lot of new faces, I assumed they were just randoms but I see otherwise now. Anyway, yeh, a quick catch up would be good tah although I don't think I've missed anything.

Remember lads, we want to hold Maver and Shyar (so try to recover your AP inside when possible), then feel free to strike out nearby. Gelasius is very heavily populated (with some of the Shyar lot), and represents the prime target. Probably will be a protracted siege again.

I got another outside Maver.

You are inside Whitlock Way Railway Station. Its platforms are empty, its departure boards blank, all trains having left the city during the evacuation. The doors to the street have been left wide open. Also here are Creepy Cripple (56 HP ) and Shin Hyung (56 HP ).

A portable generator has been set up here. It is out of fuel, and connected to a powered-down radio transmitter.

Shin Hyung was one of the Shyar lot.

Yes, but also makes it harder for them to hit you..

It doesn't make hospitals go dark: only cinemas, banks and clubs.

It reduces their search rate and ability to heal each other in hospitals.

When we're doing an assault on a Cinema, bank, or club, it should be the last thing attacked. Especially if it's a large hit and run attack. Run in, kill humans, fall back. IMHO, of course.

A portable generator has been set up here. It is running. One of the wards has been decorated with a terracotta statue, a cubist sculpture, a terracotta vase, a European painting, a skull, a clay figurine, a cracked sculpture and a European sculpture.

Somebody has spraypainted a plain white mask onto a wall.
