More work on my Vindicare mini and now he's almost finished. It feels good to finally paint a mini you've had in your backlog for years and years now. Next, I might batch paint the three remaining assassins too. It'd be cool to get my pile of shame done before getting onto new stuff. Eisenhorn, maybe?
•1 pirate down, 1 more to go. I'm right on track for my thur night goal.
•Looking for bitz/other minis in order to convert a Chaos Lord on demonic Steed to match my Darkoath/Marauder force.
(I went with these guys for our PtG campaign)
•Searching for a PDF for the last Sigmar version of Chaos Dwarves.
Not the Legion of Azgorath(sp?), just the generic one.
Turns out this was one of the files I lost last year when my laptop tried to fail.:( And now it's gone from GW/FW.
So if anyone has a copy of this they'd like to share, or can point me to whatever corner of the internet it's presently hiding in....
Did a lot of work on my Callidus Assassin, and I've almost finished her already, which is awesome, also did a bit of work on my Vindicare Assassin, too. I said it before but I hope that GW will make rules for the four of them in Kill Team 2: Electric Boogaloo. Two as a Fire Team would be cool, so they could fight alongside other Imperial factions, such as a Vindicare Assassin and a Callidus Assassin fighting alongside seven guardsmen as well as the possibility of having all four.
I was wondering how to balance the Eversor Assassin and his explosion-on-death mechanic, though. Could be way too OPlol
Finished the last of my D&D pirates this afternoon.
This evening I'll knock out a bunch of misc things you'd find abord ships - crates/barrels/sacks/treasure chests/a few tables etc/coils of rope/several bolt throwers & a few animals to decorate the ship maps with.
Also need to cut & base a few pieces of dowel rod about 3" tall to place where the masts are on the map as last week I saw the players almost universally forgetting where these things are. And it'll look cool.
Now finished 4 units, 2 Motor Scouts, 2 commanders, 3 Sharpshooters and the King's Hand for The Other Side. Working on the Guild half of the new starter set next and after that I just have 2 units and basing to go before they're all 100% complete (which is removing a huge chunk of my backlog)
Primed the pillar-cover thing for my Vindicare Assassin and began basing him and my Callidus base painted over Astrogranite Rubble with Dark Reaper grey, then soaked it in Nuln Oil, looks a bit like the ruins at the beginning of Terminator 2. Going to dry brush on Eshin Grey, then a lighter grey. Also, pretty much finished both the Assassins, might post photos later.
Began work on my Culexus Assassin, who I'm enjoying painting a surprising amount, I'm giving him sorta a Steampunk look as well as finishing up my Callidus and Vindicare Assassins. Here's some photos.
As I hoped I've practically finished my Eversor Assassin and am quite happy with how he's turning out. I soaked his, the Cuxelus Assassin's and the Callidus Assassin's bases in Nuln oil (re-did the Callidus Assassin's as her base didn't have as much contrast as it needed) Ready for dry brushing when they dry. Once they're done I should get onto the Chaos enemies of the Officio Assassinorum game Assassinorum: Execution Force. It'd be good to have them all done after owning the game for damned years and playing for the first time with fully painted minis. Also, could potentially play them in Kill Team 2: Electric Boogaloo but...meh lol
Took a moment this afternoon to finally start getting the skin on my 3rd squad of AoS Marauders done.
And discovered that the slightly greenish tint in the WWII desert tan spray I'd based this unit with interacts really poorly (worse than expected) with every shade of flesh paint/contrast/wash/etc that I own. :(
And so now I'm re-base-coating the entire unit....
Practically finished my Assassins today! And despite my earlier reticence earlier began working on the Chaos forces in the Assassinorum: Execution Force box. I have two boxes, one I bought from Gedubbs on a whim, the other I bought for like 40 bucks 2nd hand at a board game convention was a real bargain. So have 30 Cultists, 6 Chaos Marines and 2 lords. Just painting up a concept figure for the Cultists and I'm trying to have him balanced as I'm using them as proxies for Jaroaite Extremists (The Continent of Angara's equivalent of the KKK) for my TT Skirmish game I've been making and it's a challenge to 'balance' them for a colour scheme that fits both.
Finishing the skin on the other 1/2 of my StD Marauder squad.
Then painting up 16 more blister packs of Wizkids Deep Cuts stuff - all scenery stuff you'd find on a pirate ship (bedrolls, tables, crates/barrels etc)
Some of it's really simple & quick to crank out, so 16 packs of this stuff isn't really that much.
The design is based on a certain gyrocopter from a certain spy film, although I ran out of patience with the yellow and white and painted it differently. So there! You can pick up the miniature as part of Sally 4th's "Rising Tides" Spy-Fi KS, or directly from their website.
Got most of my six CRIMSON SLAUGHTER Chaos Space Marines (the edgelordiness of that title could slice peeps to ribbons with all its edge if one isn't careful lol) Almost finished them luckily the last guy who owned them did quite a bit of work on them, base coating them red and gold on the edges, including the sorcerer Drask who he did a damn good job on. But I also glued and primed my three Chaos Marines and began on them in kind. I would've primed my 2nd box of Harlequins for Kill Team 2: Electric Boogaloo, but because I left them in my old school mini case with it open a big gust of wind threw them out and on the ground. Knocking most of them off their bases and my Troupe Master's sword arm off, which took me a while to find. Decided then I was too tired so went back to my room to paint my edgy boi Marines (I did prime two of my Harlequins) I should've seen it coming, Wellington is well known as the "windy city" for a damned good reason lol
I got my Edgy Boi Chaos Marines from the Assassinorum: Execution Force box mostly finished.
They look super Chaotic and...well...edgy like they'd painted their armour in blood. They're old school mono pose models, and looking at how nice the new Chaos Marine minis are compared to them, I'm tempted to buy a box to replace the old ones. It's also pretty kewl because I have six Chaos Marines, so I have enough for an entire Kill Team if I ever play them or if a friend wants to play them at my place for fun. Too bad they all only have bolters; I made sure to paint one's horns silver instead of bone to mark him out as the leader.
I am now beginning my cultists, doing them in mass. I've split them into two groups of 15 to make them look different for when they fight against each other as Jaroaite Extremists while playtesting my Angaran Chronicles TT Skirmish game of horde vs horde battles.
Batch painted my Cultists and by the Emperor, I'm glad I decided to do fifteen of them instead of trying to do all thirty in one go. I've done most of the long part, base coating, and began applying washes. Agrax Earth shade on the leathers to be more precise.
Not sure I like how it looks, in all honesty, but I'll leave it to dry and see how it looks in the morning. I was hoping to get all thirty table-ready by this coming Saturday, but doubting that now lol
Almost completed my cultists, just got to do the hair on a few. Nuln Oil is a wonderful thing lol
Automatically Appended Next Post: Had a solo game of Assassinorum: Execution force to get to know the game before hopefully playing with my friends this coming Saturday. Was a lot of fun, made me feel like I was playing a board game version of Metal Gear Solid, especially how line of sight works. I even downloaded an app that makes the BLING! sound when a guard spotted me.
Managed to complete it without losing an Assassin which was cool. It's a shame G-Double-Ya didn't support the game more.
Finished the eight mechs from BT: A Game of Armored Combat box. We’re looking to play some alpha strike in near future.

Assassin game was very well done. I played it until I had justified trading for it then swapped it to a game buddy who really just wanted the four characters.
After nearly 2 years; I am hauling out terrain (some of which has never been played on despite having been made over a year ago), checking my gaming bag and models (a few also painted a year ago but not seen the table) for a Kings of War tournament this weekend.
Began basing my Chaos Cultists and Chaos Marines which took a bit less time doing than I thought. With my new pot of Astrogranit Debris it's much easier, my old stuff was super dry and hard to apply to the bases. Hoping to have another game of Assassinorum: Execution Force with my flatmate later today, too!
Automatically Appended Next Post: I had my second game of Assassinorum: Execution Force today. Was the complete opposite of my first as it was very much down to the wire, was on countdown the 15th (out of 16 which would've happened the end of my turn, so would've lost) when my Vindicare, Callidus (or Attelus Kaltos mini I'm using as a proxy as he cost a crap ton of money and I put a lot more effort into painting him than her, instead of her Polymorphine ability he slides into the shadows and sneaks around when he uses that ability) and Eversor finally burst into the chamber to assassinate Drask. I had the Vindicare Assassin shoot first and he whiffed with a one, I made him re-roll and he rolled another 1. Eversor attacked Drask, took off two of his wounds. Then Attelus charged and managed to finish Drask, winning me the game.
For much of the game I was bogged down with Space Marines and Cultists, just having bad luck with my Event Card draws. Attelus and the Eversor wracked up a huge body count. The Vindicare whiffed like three times lol
Painting gutrippas and boarboys and prepared for tournament i'lj be running tomorrow. Again won't be playing short of last minute cancel but have packed tons of stuff to paint instead.
Pretty much finished my Cultists and Edge Lord Chaos Marines, dry brushing their bases and Attelus' base as well.
Had a couple of games of Assassinorum: Execution Force; the first came down the wire, began fighting Drask on the 15th phase, as I'd lose the next one. My Eversor Assassin and Attelus Kaltos managed to take him down two wounds, but the Culexus managed to pull the win with his shooting thingy, and I got the achievement for my Assassins never getting hurt.
The 2nd game while I managed to get to Drask way earlier, but it was bloody. Attelus Kaltos died from the bolter fire of a Chaos Marine (Oh well, he's a Perpetual; he'll be back soon, lol), but he managed to take two wounds off Drask before being blasted into oblivion by bolt rounds. The Eversor missed both his attacks, so I made him self destruct, managing to take off Drask's final wound, and so got that achievement.
In that game, I had terrible luck. But it was hilarious that my Vindicare got left behind on the first board, and almost every enemy was on Alert, chasing after him as he sprinted toward the teleporter. Should've played this all the while, lol
Painting Yoda, the last Bakemono I own for Bushido and the riders for a unit of The Other Side Empire Dragoons. I'll work on the horses once they're all done while I paint Wookiees
was supposed to play in lotr event but overslept so rather than go there missing 1-2 games out of 4 in 110km drive one way continued painting orruks and khorne stuff.
Finished my Dragoons for The Other Side, which also means I've finished that entire army (finally getting them out of the pile of shame) and am now starting on the first 6 Wookiees of 12 (3 melee Warriors, 2 shield heavies and a Chieftain)
Though a bit overcast it's a fairly nice day here. If that holds for about another hour I'll be able to get some of my Drukahri Talos primed.
Edit: Weather held long enough for me to run out of spray. And then the drizzle started again. But I got all three units of Talos primed! Plus that lone Elf I need as an HQ....
Next up: Restock the spray & get the Cronos squads done as soon as the sun comes back out.
Began to base coat two of my new Harlequins and I primed the remaining four ready to paint, soon I have a 3rd box coming so I'm hoping to finish them before that arrives. Also primed an old push-fit mono-pose Ork I've had sitting around for years and year, have no idea how I got him. Will paint him as a test/practice mini for my Octarius Box Kommandoes. Realised my 1st box of Assassinorum: Execution Force minis are practically finished which makes me warm and fuzzy on the inside lol
Played a couple of games of Assassinorum: Execution Force. 1st one I did the achievements of having twice the enemy patrollers at the start and Drask having six wounds instead of three. Completed it quite well.
The 2nd game was the 1st one I'd lost, and it was a normal one, Drask managed to open another Eye of Terror and become a daemon prince lol
Continued work on blood drinkers. There's local game day for various games i'm hoping to get if not painted at least look reasonably painted for pr purposes.
Practically finished painting my 2nd box of Harlequins, much less tedious than bulk painting my Cultists. I'm pretty happy with the colour scheme I set up for them, easy enough and quick enough to paint, and it doesn't look too bad. Once they're done, I plan to assemble my 3rd Harlequin box and the Custodian Wardens I got yesterday.
I've got to not buy anymore plastic crack before I finish my pile of shame. I just want to get them finished first for Kill Team 2: Electric Boogaloo.
Yay, I think I just have to base my Harlequins, paint my Troupe Master's power sword and maybe dry brush a bit more wraithbone on their masks and weapons. Now I've begun assembling my first Custodes warrior. They're damned cool sculpts.
Assembled a few pieces to finish off some factions for a few games (Soma and Ratcatcher Bonesaw for Guild Ball, Manos the Risen, Yin the Penangalan and Toshiro the Daimyo for Malifaux)
Assembled a 40k Talos this evening as a test piece.
Determined what I'll need to paint prior to assembly vs after on the rest.
Tomorrow I'll start painting & assembling the first three of them with the goal of being finished by Sat.
Been quite productive today. Began basing my Harlequins and Howling Banshees. Then assembled (mostly) My Custodes Wardens. Hoping to prime them tomorrow and assemble my 3rd box of Harlies as well but I'm doing NaNoWriMo for the 3rd Secret War story Secret War: The Annihilation Plague so might not have much time to work on minis. I'm just glad I now have legal WYSIWYG Harlequins for Kill Team 2: Electric Boogaloo!
Finished the commission (for a friend) of the little Christmas Khorne army I had to do! Put the finishing touch to the Bloodthirster, so everything is now done!
I can finally move on to something for my own army! Starting to finish my Tervigon for the little Christmas game we gonna have (with said Christmas Khorne as NPC in some custom scenario!), then probably the Infernal Master that's being sitting on my desk since the release!
I'm ahead with NaNoWriMo, so started assembling my 3rd box of Harlies, three of them using the three masks I haven't used yet. Made sure to give two of them Embraces as they seem pretty damned great in Kill Team 2: Electric Boogaloo.
I also thought of an idea, if GW releases a box for Kill Team like Octarius with Eldar vs Insert another Kill Team here (Maybe Tyranids? Could do, like, a Valedor thing, maybe?) It could be a KT of Warlocks; they of all the Eldar military things could adhere to the super-specialist units those KT's use. One Warlock could be a "medic" using his/her psychic powers to heal allies; another could use their psychic powers as an explosive specialist, etc. It'd be a good way to introduce new Warlock minis (as they are old as frig)
Wrote up my roster for our upcoming Crusade League and actually read all the crunchy faction specific rules stuff & strats for the force I'm building (Drukari).
No Black Crusade game today ( ), but I did tidy up the bombsite that was my living room, covered from one side to the other with 50L plastic tubs filled with sprues.
Now it's more organised, I know exactly how much unbuilt Zone Mechanicus/Zone Mortalis terrain I have (Answer: Too much! ) and I have taken out the sprues for things that can only be built one way (9th Ed starter terrain pipes and fuel tanks + 2 Void Shield Generators) that I can build to avoid having to keep all the sprues around.
Tomorrow I'll be starting to organise both waves of the BattleTech Kickstarter and get the 'Mechs into foam with my other 'Mechs. That's going to take some time.
Primed my new Harlequins and re-primed my Guardians as well as a few other bits and pieces. Now back writing Secret War: The Annihilation Plague for NaNoWriMo.
Just played another game of Assassinorum: Execution Force with my friend and it was the most disastrous game I've played so far, lost Attelus/the Callidus Assassin on the 1st board and we didn't take even one wound off the main bad guy, before the count down expired. Was still fun as frig though, say a lot about a game when you frig up so bad it's still fun lol
Almost completed another Harlequin. I really enjoy painting them almost as much as I enjoy assembling them. It's a challenge to make them all unique using the same colour palette.
Painted the fleshy & hard to reach bits of Talos #3.
This evening I'll get the rest of each Talos assembled & painted.
My goal is to have all 3 ready in time for the start of our Crusade this Wed. Though in reality I won't need them until Sat.
The hardest parts been finding a skin tone I liked.
It turns out you can play a wargame on a wall rather than a tabletop if you use cardboard tokens and some poster tac. Giving that a try now in a skirmish between some Sisters of Battle and Tyranids.
It’s a much slower process to move each individual token, but it seems to work well as an alternative when table space is unavailable.

If one could get large metal sheet to the wall you could even play with real models magnetized

My my. High risk, high reward.
That would be pretty cool though. Where do people find these magnets anyway? They might certainly make Tyranid repairs MUCH less of a headache.

Supermagnete is one store. Ebay has tons of sellers.
Great for transporting btw.
Today edge highlighting blood drinkers continue. 56 or so marines sooo many edges to do.
Edit: Just practically finished another Harlequin with an embrace, just gotta base him and the last one. Planning on painting my Custodes when they're finished.
A mix of different stuff, First off GW terrain bits I bought in a cheap lot on Ebay a few years ago. Not the full set, but enough for some decent scatter
These I bought off a 3d printer on Etsy. Good stuff and worth the price!
Lastly my own creation made from Christmas trees I bought at a dollar store 2 years ago. Cleaned they terrible snow off them and re-flocked them on an MDF base I bought from a local seller. The coverage is not the best, but the price per tree makes it worth it.
I have a bunch more trees I need to get cleaned and flocked before I can call my skirmish game table completely done. But im making progress! I finally have a board I can play Rangers of Shadowdeep/Frostgrave on.
Some board gaming this afternoon/evening, then later finishing up building several Talos.
I'll take the Talos with me in case we pick games with a long delays between my turns.
We defeated the first wave of incoming attackers only for a Nurgle Sorcerer to sacrifice himself, summoning a Great Unclean One into the massive arena.
It attempted to toughen it's already legendary durability, only to swap minds with one of the remaining enemy Plague Marines. So now we have a very tough Plague Marine with the mind of a GUO, and a very confused Plague Marine with the body of a GUO!
Banging my head against the wall, figuratively. Nearly a year after purchase, I have still not come up with a good color scheme for the O-12 minis i have. YJ, Aleph, PanO, I came up with a scheme without too much issue. These goshdarn things just do not vibe at all.
Going to paint on bloodletters and bloodthirster just in case I actually need to play on tournament I'm running(atm even # of players coming so I won't play but you never know)
Fully built & painted up the 1st of my Talos for our new Crusade.
This 1st one took way longer than I expected. But now that I have the scheme down & know how everything fits together....
I'll be able to crank out #s 2 & 3 in about 3/4 of that time.
I haven't been motivated to paint anything beyond terrain for the last few months. I decided that if i'm going to get out of my funk I need to force myself to paint.
So I sat this weekend and started a Warrior Priest model I have had base coated in my "to do" pile since 7th edition WHFB. Almost done and I already have more models lined up after it.
Realizing that all my incoming 25mm bases will not have a slot has triggered a rushed attempt at salvaging as many broken slotta bases as I can for old metal figures.

Cheers,

Initial plan had a moat! got the temp/everything just right so it should work out. Just did a pour!
I hate filling slots but then I never have slots when I ebay buy lots
Work continues on the Talos project.
I'm finding that their forearms & arm weapons (especially the twin liquifiers) are just tedious and really time consuming.
By Sat though I'll have 6/9 finished & on the table.
Trying to throw together some Sassanid paper minis. The drawings are... uh... in need of some practice. About 10 light infantry should be good for a skirmish match against the Byzantines.
Also making some adjustments to the FiveCore rules to accommodate trench warfare.
Finishing the Riders for Malifaux and working through Deathstroke and the last 3 Guild Ball minis I have (to finish Ratcatchers and Alchemists rosters)
Starting at noon I've got a completely empty schedule today.
So I'm going to spend the next 7 hours or so getting as many Talos/Cronos painted up as possible.
Oh & figuring out if i need to wash the models before priming..that ones giving me a bit of a headache
Like i bought some 3D printed bits & do they need the same process as metal models did so that primer would stick to them ?
Anything made of any type of resin (FW, some other company, Finecast, 3d printed, etc.) = yes concerning wether to wash/not wash.
Some plastics (ex: Reaper Bones) need washing as well.
And if you're ever in doubt no matter what it's made of? Then just wash it.
Currently printing the Titan Forge Tanegashima soldiers from their Dragon Empire range, who are surprisingly light fantasy and should fit right into my sengoku stuff. I got the resin printer only recently and completed an entire farm house and some villagers already. A whole new world of possibilites has opened up, I'm loving it.
Put together a pair of Melusai Blood Stalkers, a trio of Melusi Blood Sisters, and a Bloodwrack Medusa (far easier to put together than I thought she'd be!).

That sounds like a neat idea! Anything in particular to start? All I can think of is a sofa made of Space Marine arms.
I made a little lamp stand from some tau bits!
Now that you mention it, Tau does seem to be a good pick for scenery bits. Must be the blockier and smoother models.
You used a fire warrior head, didn’t you?

Ah, that actually would have been a neat way to do it, maybe for next time.
Work continues on the Cronos portion of my Talos/Cronos horde.
The Cronos paints up alot faster than the Talos. The tentacles look like they should be really time consuming. But they're sooo much quicker to do than all the bitz/details on the Talos arms....

Here's what I put together.
A bit wobbly.
It looks quite nice! Wobbles a bit as you say, but it goes very well with the table. Nice job!
Finished off the misc bitz on 1st Talos squad (carapace capacitors, spikey stuff, skulls, the little stabby side arms & the tube things on their bottom)
Got all the arms & tentacles finished for 1st Cronos squad.
Playing D&D, pining over the models I wish I had time to paint during the work week, and cursing the fact that I have to commute so far for a job I actually enjoy.
...and maybe also ordering some fresh not-AdMech models.
I just finished painting the standard bearer for my Ellyrian Reavers, too knackered to do photos so that'll have to be a tomorrow job. Need to see if I can download some old school paper banners!
Little bit more misc work on the Talos/Cronos project.
Built & primed Drazzar.
Color coded the officers bases (gold/silver/copper) for the D&D pirate ship crew. The PCs have been aboard the ship long enough by now that they'd naturally figure out the hierarchy.
Today my Spindle Drones & Bore Wyrms did enough work to earn their paint.
So in addition to yet a few more tails and tentacles for my Talos/Cronos force.....
Gotta keep just ahead of the PL increases in our Crusade, so it's time to start the final 3 Talos.
I'll do their bodies tonight, their arms tomorrow, and then the tails & bitz Thur.+
Finished the main painting & assembly of Talos #s 7 & 8 (2/3 of 3rd squad) tonight.
Also found out I don't need 3rd squad yet this weekend as we're still at 50PL. So I've got another 7 days to get #9 + all the fiddly bits (tiny side arms, capacitors, spikes, etc) for the squad finished up.
Finally managed to make myself begin properly painting my Custodes. Using one as a test for the colour scheme I'm intending to use I'm pretty much apeing the awesome colour scheme of Winters SEO with his DA successors. I'm liking how he looks so far.
Built WGA giant spiders or rather built 1 and destroyed the second. I am so happy that I bought just 1 sprue to test them. All they say about the legs is true = very unpleasant experience trying to glue them.
Organized my tub o’ terrain and posted some FoW stuff that hasn’t moved from there for six years to our fb miniatures group. Got an offer within 30 minutes and it’s going to a younger player who is breaking into the game.

You definitely need a base to mount them on/to help with assembly. They are nice once built but it can be challenging to get them there.
Small work to ease back into hobby after moving, got about 3/4 of the way through Kami, Soma and Bonesaw (last 3 Guild Ball minis I need to paint for my 2 Guilds) and Deathstroke, plus did the feathers on a bunch of Tengu for Bushido
I managed 90 minutes of painting last night...90 minutes. That is the most time I have had for painting in a single sitting for at least two months. Managed to move five old metal Scavvies closer to completion.
Finished my Wyches, about done with the last bits of my Dark Eldar. Have to just finish the wings on my Scourges. Also rearranged my work space queue so all my 3D printed tanks look much nicer unpainted now!
Had some unused Renedra bases from Fireforge/Northstar kits, and decided to make something from them. The result was a tall column that will support some, yet undecided, miniature turned statue.
Started my vacation, so I have a few projects underway!
First I finished build Belakor (commission for a friend), and Primed it so I'll be ready to paint later (probably tomorrow).
Since I was priming, I also primed my new converted Custodes Blade-new-guy, should also paint this guy real soon (same time as Belakor probably).
Also I reworked the pose of the arm of a 3D printed Carnifex (based on the 2nd edition one), as I didn't liked the fixed pose of the print (arms too wide). Cut them and pinned them back in place at better angle, so some greenstuff work to finish the joints later tonight! Now I'm satisfied with how it looks and will be able to paint it to remove him from the desk of unfinished project!
A little bit more to go & then it's on to the core painting/building (torso/tentacles/carapace/flight stand) of yet another one.
Then next week, as I did with the talos, I'll go back & do up all the non-essential-for-play bitz: the spikes/blades, the capacitors & tubes, little side arms,, etc.
This'll give me 71/75 PL fully painted for when the Crusade resumes in Jan.
((Other 4pl is a Venom - wich will be the last thing painted)
Cloth work on my first batch of Tengu for Bushido. Next up is the robes and then they're all ready to base, but I'll probably jump around and start on the Court of Owls crew for Batman that's been staring at me the last 2 months
Finished the first wave of Tengu apart from bases, metals on my Court of Owls and primed up the latest models for my Malifaux Outcasts and Bushido ninjas to finish off those factions again
Finished everything for my Malifaux Outcasts and Bushido Ninjas and got most of my Court of Owls done. Managed to get in a productive hobby night and I'm hoping to have the Owls all finished by Wednesday
Finishing The Court so all my Court of Owls are done apart from basing, and starting bases on my Tengu for Bushido after loving my first game with them
Preparing to crush an AM/Blood Angels alliance in our Crusade Leagues team game week.
Edit: Well that went poorly.
Mostly due to:
A) my partners abysmal dice rolling. It's hard to fight two armies when your partner can't hit/wound/make saves....
B) an impressive amount of creative rules interpretation by the Guard player. Having to untangle the knot of ignorance + cheating + run him through basic math class every round was rather draining.
No idea if this counts (it's hobby related)
well i've finished setting up hobby station for now..& so i'm re-making my Blood Angels successor chapter, after losing the file with lore i'd written & falling to the black rage its back to square one
and maybe..just maybe build some models in waitng to see if i choose to stay old school or succumb to the Airbrush purchase
