Nightshields are not weapons, they reduce enemy range returning fire so a 3++ doesnt laugh at all, As the last posted item goes first the Razorwing is going to come on the board and lauch its missiles each one a large blast that wounds on 2+ getting your drones, your bodyguard and your character. Each one requires a pinning test. Sure Ld 9-10 is hard to fail but you might fail one of them. The dark lances and the splinter cannon will tack on more wounds. r'alai might survive but his droves and bodyguard are gonna be dead and he is gonna be wounded. A further pinning test from losing so many models. Provided he is unpinned and survives 2 lascannons have a chance but it's not surefire with the Razorwings invunerable save. You can miss, shake, weapon destroyed or immobilize it or have it saved by the ++ save.

Well at 24" that is 15 hirs for guardsmen and 5 wounds to the Orks. 4 failed armour 1 pass.
21 Boys move and run ~9". The distance is now 15".
Guardsmen now move 3" closer (12" away) and rspid fire, hitting with 30, wound 6 and killing 5.
