but they can would allocate, dont suffer from ID, and charge with 14 Str 7 attacks which hit rear armor. In order to fire the exorcist would have to move 6" or less so would be hit on 4+. Half hit, half penetrate. very likely boom.
Grots suck, but they can rip rear armor.

Within a reasonable amount, you can go in either direction. Otherwise we'd have like 1 ork-6 1 guardsman-5 etc.

ok, and you forget that xv88 shoots 72" twin link s10ap1 shots. You need to mark the target, bringing you 30" to the enemy, and still you only have 1/4 to hit with a marker.

We had friendly lists. Platoons, and Lord Commissar and mine ran a 3 man.Warrior Brood and Hormaguants. They spam 2 Lash Sorcerors, 9 Oblits and Plague Marines (min sized x2) with 9 Broadsides and Crisis suit spam ( What is a Fireknife config BTW).

I'd always thought of a unit as something that would be considered a single kill point in a standard game of 40k.

No, the C'tan+Wraith was void, as are Lysander+Hammernators.
In this thread the unit(s) you post can be any type of squad. You can then post up to 4 more of the same squad. I believe they gain different upgrades if you want.
It was really a slight error on the OP's part but nothing to get a full discussion about.
