I know all chaos legions and the chaos n00bz (renegades) hate the imperium. But I wanna know who you think is the most hateful to everything.

Well... let's see. I'll bust out my old chaos dex because it, you know, had legions in it...

World Eaters: Sure, they're really angry, I mean, really angry, but they kind of really just like fighting. I mean, they'd be fighting even if they weren't pissed off at the emprah. I don't think they're the most hateful.

Death Guard: These guys are cuddly bunnies. I mean, it's hard to spread contagion and filth without getting close to people. The best way to infect is with a french kiss, right? Plus, their diseases are a 'gift', so I'm saying they're cuddly kittens.

Black legion: Well, I'll ignore the obvious joke about failing 13 times so they must not be trying. Instead, let's point out that at least they frekkin tried. I mean really chaos, only one legion ever launches anything more than raids? Sure, Black Legion is pretty weaksauce, but they're trying the hardest out of everyone to prove they hate the imperium.

Emperor's Children: Not even in the running. The only reason they stray from their own drug-snorting, fetish-filled orgies is so they can get their S&M fix on some unwary guardsmen.

Iron Legion: These guys are probably just sitting in the Eye of Terror having a blast. I mean, can't you just see this entire legion building cities, then knocking them down with their toys? For all eternity, building, then smashing, then building, then smashing. Their defilers probably look like back hoes.

Thousand Sons: These guys have a chance to be the most hateful. Let's see... Basic troopers turned into mindless killing automatons? Check. Leaders being twisted, evil beings who delight in creating grand plans and schemes? Check. A massively powerful leader who's playing Chess with the universe? Check. Oh wait. They sound like every bad guy in every science fiction movie ever. Just wait. One plucky hero(ine) and it'll all come crashing down. Cue Ahriman's overdramatic NOOOOO. Hateful, maybe. I think they're just playing.

Night Lords: These guys are tougher to figure out. I mean, we all know how they like to fight, but the why isn't as clear. Maybe they sneak around in the dark and cut throats because they really don't like the emperor. I think that these guys are pretty up there for most hateful. They're like Stalin's secret police, except they're not killing their own dudes. I say Night Lords are pretty damn hateful. And sneaky.

Alpha Legion: Read the book. I'm not going to rehash it all.

Did I miss any major legions?

World Eater's Hatred is in their creed.

Now.. as much as i'd like the preach my legion. I won't I am modest enough to accept this.

These guy's killed a whole world with their bare hands once.

I read up on some of the Fluff, it's the Emperor's own damned fault the Chaos Legions are what they are.

I'd say world eaters are the most hatefilled. Anything involving khorne really lol

Iron Warriors. All of the cults have lost touch with reality to a degree. Much of the Black Legion has as well (since they're all over). Alpha Legion has their master plan. Word Bearers have their gods on their side. Night Lords act like gods themselves on civilian populations.

The Iron Warriors started out bitter, and they've only had more reason to become so since the heresy.

I vote Night Lords. Do they hate the Emperor in specific? Maybe not, but they still hate just about everything and they kill it, because they can. Thousand Sons are second up on the hate list.

Word Bearers. They attack the Imperium frequently, as I recall.

Well I'm going to go ahead and vouch for my own Legion here and say the Black Legion.

Yes the are Fail x 13 but that just gives them all the more reason to hate. Why else would they keep trying?

They are also the most subborn legion now that I think of it...

Night lords. They were psychopathic and extremist before the heresy even began. Their ranks were filled with killers and criminals to replace losses in The Great Crusade. Further their armour was decorated with emblems of terror and death. Then they went rogue and kill for practically no reason needed at all. An example being 'The Culling of Grendel's World' demonstrating just how hate fueled the Night Lords are.

I would say night lords. They are plenty of fluff horror stories. Like where they string children up in front of cities to demoralise them, and torture people over the vox for all to hear.

That's just nasty. But even worse, is that while the other legions kind of have a devoted/selfish/demented reason, there IS NO REASON behind the Night Lords. They are just sick.

Yes, pretty much what fluff like Index Astartes says. Some Legions commit atrocities as a devotion to the Chaos Gods or to get revenge. The Night Lords don´t care about religion. They just want to rob you clean of anything usefull and torture you simply because they like it. Oh, and they don´t play by any rules.

The Night lords seem a more greedy and mental instable bunch than a "most hateful legion".

First thought was Word Bearers since they are the arch-traitors in person.
All the schemeing and turning their brothers against the emperor and their still not in charge, plus the seed of faith works against them...

Second best guess was the iron warriors, for their unreasonable bitterness. But they may stay focused on a goal and hate distracts...

From the old index astartes article, I can understand why the iron warriors are bitter.
I say Night Lords.

When I think about it I meant hateful as in it their main motivation.. They're reason for doing the things they do.

At the moment Night Lords seem the best bet. (going by the majority.

Idw whos most hateful cause genocide, causing plagues to run rampant, raping, etc is all really evil. As far as hateful uh they're all equal in their hate.. Though Kharn alone stands as kind hatred even going as far as to do the horrors to his own men in the heat of battle! lol though I vote night lords have the most ridiculous helmet which may be why they're angry lol

Word bearers have to be the most hateful legion because they are wageing a holy war agenst the Imperial creed, so it has to be the most hateful degridated war!!

I'm not sure why everyone thinks the Night Lords are driven by hatred.

Kurze probably was, but from then on the legion seems to just take pleasure in the power rush of making entire planets fear them.

Actually, he's more curious than hate-filled. He just wants to be left alone so he can get a good handful of human genetics and give them a twist, just to see what happens

Easily the Word Bearers. They're the ones ultimately responsible for the heresy. Lorgar sent erebus to taint horus, the rest is history.

The Sons of Malice could be a good contender as they even hate Chaos!
