Pretty self explanatory. Where does your family line lead?

Mine is originally Scottish, then they moved to Ireland and then about 60 years ago to good ol America.

Rode south in chainmail and with that newfangled 'stirrup' invention. Galloped about sending the frenchies screaming before getting the idea up to go see what was on the other side of that channel. Cue English screaming and a couple of centuries migrating back and forth. At some point they fell for the "wealth in the colonies", trekked over there and lost most every penny they had.
Then there was the whole 40 acres/mule thing that only goes back so far.

Mother's side: English/Scottish. I do have a convict ancestor (Like royalty to us Aussies, it is), and a vague relationship to our current opposition (political party) leader Malcolm Turnbull.

Father's side: Hungarian/Czech and only have his sibling and parent's names and places of birth. I have tried to find anything further but the records were destroyed either during the war or afterwards when the russians moved in.

Given that dad knew many Romany "lullabies", I'll put money on them somewhere. I do not share the common "identifiers" for Hungarians (I have hungarian friends who do and they also tell me I don't 'look' Hungarian but they do.) though.

American: 100%.

My heritage, is Irish, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, possible other European countries.

Scotch/Irish on Dads side

Moms side= French......Grandmother is from France. Her father was a captain in the French Army(Cavalry)WWI. Colonel in WW2(Tanks and Resistance')

Father's side: Ukranian, hailing from the (former?) region of Galicia. Third Generation in the US.

Mother's side: German, not sure of the specifics. Also Third Generation.

Other than that though, I am also considered to be caucasian, and of European descent (although, I stipulate that I am also of Plutonian descent... but this aside...) . Russia, Hungary, Turkey, Ireland, Russia, Sweden, Native American... I mean we can talk about this for weeks.

Anyway though, my heritage is practically unknown, and provably unknowable to me. I am white/caucasian on any form, and as far as I am concerned, none of this matters in the slightest.

My Father is a now retired Computer techy and my grandpa was a brewer and his father and his father.

Canadian. With a heritage that is of Norse descent.

My Mothers Grandmother came to America from Germany in the 1920's (she wasn't Jewish,but I think she relized things there were going to get bad),she married a French/Creole in New Orleans (where she settled),My Grandmother married the son of one of the familes my great grandmother had come over from Germany with,and my Mother married my Father who can trace his heritage (Native American) back to his Great great great great Grandfather.

Short answer..German,French,Native American.

Me? Dad's side is 100% Scottish as far as we can trace it (1700's) originating in Orkney and Shetland. Given that location, I'd expect some kind of Nordic in there somewhere.

Mums' side is Scots/French (Proudfoot's were French Glove Makers) and English.

Though on my maternal Grandfather's side, things get very complex, including as they do an 18th Century Strongman and a Gypsy Princess.

My parents moved from the Philippines, so technically I'm the son of an immigrant.

My species has yet to be categorized.

I'm part Alsatian.

I'm pretty 100% English all the way back, as far as my grandma's traced. (Which is about 1750-1800).

I'm pretty sure there's some irish and german in there, but my family is pretty fractured so I don't really know all the details.

I got some English, some Irish and some Scottish.

It's like someone grabbed the British Isles and threw them in a blender.

My mothers side is pure English for the last 400 years. My Fathers mothers side is made up of Russian Jews originating in the region called Latvia these days. My Fathers fathers side are minor Scottish border nobility with a coat of arms and everything. Apparantly they were border raiders, stealing and raping everything on English side not nailed down, and burning what was.

Myself: Take a bucket, throw in lots of saxon, norman, and perhaps a dash of celtic barbarianism - I don't know - mix it all up and pour out the contents. That pretty much descirbes up my heritage.

Father's side: Grandparents both English, left London during Blitz.

Mother's side: Grandfather half Cherokee, Grandmother of English ancestory.

I'd say I'm mostly English.
