I do enjoy winning, but a total crushing victory makes me feel embarrassed. If I can win by a cat's whisker then I am very happy, the anticipation mixed with fear is a great rush

Its of course fun every now and then to crush your opponent (especially if its a friend) but I just love those close games were it all comes down to an exhilarating last turn.

My tactical side says CRUSHING. My friendly side loves a tied game were everything has gone well for both sides and really no one can gain an advantage.
So I voted tie

I always play to lose or to draw. That's the correct way - the casual gamer's way. The only people who want to win are Tournament Gamers, and all Tournament Gamers are closet KKK terrorists (as we all know).
So no, I play to draw and/or lose (hopefully both!).

I like to win, and I make no bones about it. If I'm really thrashing someone it's usually not too fun for either of us so I went for a "Solid Win" vote.
I actually prefer a loss to a draw, so I even when I could conceivably pull a draw I usually go for a longshot victory. Go big or go home!

I'm never quite satisfied with just a loss,I feel much better if ,after I have been soundly defeated,my opponent then smashes all my minis with a large hammer and sets my car on fire.

As I'm one of the few casual gamers who isn't full of self-righteous gak, I chose a solid win, though slight wins are also fun.
Since most of the people I play are either new to the game and/or relatively inexperienced, I don't bring 'ard lists.

Im not going to vote because there isnt an other/multiple choices... I dont have a preference to an outcome, as long as the game is fun I am happy, like today I got massacred but it was one of the best games ever because fanatics are freakign hilarious... however when I lose to daemons its not only not funny but rather depressing... Not to say I dont like to win, hell, everyone likes to win... So I jsut wont vote

I love a tied game where we both pushed each other so hard the neither of us got anything more than death. One of the greatest feelings for me is looking at a table that once had two full armies of minis and now there are only a few scraggling pieces left limping around the table.

I like it to be close. I don't like losing and I know I can get rubbish when my units are getting absolutely hammered.
It is much more fun if you are trading blows than if you or the person you are playing against are just romping all over the place.
Plus I only tend to play against my brother so it is much nicer if we both get to feel like we did well.

Hahahaha!
I only like to obliterate my opponent if they are an ass, or if they are someone I have a rivalry with.
If it is a game of kick the baby where the other guy just stood no chance, that really isn't fun and is pretty much a waste of time.
So I voted solid win, as that usually means it was a game, but I still came out way ahead!

I only like to obliterate certain armies, CSM:Khorne, DA and BA are my favorite. But only when it's my tatics and engineering of a good list that is responsible for this. I'll offer mulligans to my opponents if the dice gods are being too evil. Anyone who employs canned chedder or spam lists they found online are fun targets as well, I tell myself that I'm keeping the game interesting for them. I catch myself enjoying 'teaching people a leason' so to speak; I kind of wish this wasn't part of my personality but evidently I am one of those guys.
So since my greatest satisfation comes from the moments I listed; I will vote Option 1. Even though I hate myself for it just a little bit afterwards.

Slght wins are probably the most fun, yet I prefer a solid win. This is mainly because I use fantasy orcs a lot and animosity can wreak a plan.

Victory is always satisfying, but I find that victory by slight margins means that you're playing someone on your "level" if that makes sense.

Even if i lose in this way it's awesome!

I like to feel that I've earned my victory, the game has to be challenging to be fun for me. When I win a game with half my boyz gone, It's a satisfying victory, so I chose solid win. I feel this way every time I win with my daemon hunters period.

I don't particularly mind, but I try and refrain from losing. If I get a solid victory though, I may cheer and have a celebration after shoving it in my opponent's face(but I don't win much, so it's nice to have victory occasionally). So I voted Solid Win.

A like a win that was really worked for... It's even more if i do win due to the fact i'm the only Tau empire player at my LFGS while everyone else is either on a tyranid power trip or a imperial nutter ;p
Even if i lose (i have a 90% loss rate so far) i still am the winner. I learn what works and what doesn't every game, and i always learn what makes my enemy tick (New nids are a prime example. That tervigon is a evil thing if it doesn't botch the spawn rolls)

In most games I prefer a close game that I barely squeak a win out of.
Even in a tournament I feel bad when I completely smash my opponent into the ground, but thems the breaks when it comes to competitive play.
