What do you get if you combine 3 boxes of warbikers, 1 Nob box, 1 Trukk box, AoBR boss and some bits from ebay?

Well in this case 8 Nob bikers and a biker boss...

I started with the bikes....

First of is the Boss bike and a Nob bike.

It sits on a 10x5 cm base that I bought from microarts. It was rectangular from the beginning, I dremeled it to a oversized bike base.

The base will be added later.

I will make all the bikes first and then do the boss and nobs. More detail will be added later to the bikes when I place the riders later, depending of type of gear.

They only come in WFB cavalry bases, not the 40k bike variant. Dont know if I want to dremel another 8 of them....

Any CC would be nice when they are still unprimed.

That sidecar bike have slow progress. Had to scratch build the sidecar and I have redone the sidecar like 5 times....

Wow! They are more junky than... anything! So much scrap glued, nailed, screwed and rivited together to create a twisted pile of metal and tank carcas in the general shape of a bike... and it's so beautiful!

1000pts-ish...

Lookin good and orky! I think the bike in pic #2 has a goofy back wheel thingy though. I think one of those sidecars would look much better there. BTW your sidecar thingy is utterly bitchin!

Ok, modelling is finished. The handle bars are not yet attached to the riders. I plan to paint the riders and bikes separetly.
I magnetized all weapon choices but I only show the smaller ones in the pictures, the kombi weapons obscure the rest of the model. The Waaagh banner and boss pole can be switched between the bikes.

Thanks for the feedback...
Just tried my spraygun.... Never used it before, but I managed to basecoat all bikes and all weapons in just 10 minutes... The coat is very thin, would have taken me very long time to brush that paint on...
To bad I have painted all.... like 15 tanks and all terrain already, would have been so much more fun to do it with a "wannabe air brush".

Well, started with the Boss biker... Still WIP, basecoat and wash added and some drybrush. Will continue to pick out details and and more shading. The skin came out bad, need to redo that.

You have inspired me to look into getting a set of bikers for my ork army. I hope they turn out half as good as these.

Really, some cool minis, and the paint job looks awesome!

They all look smashing. I especially like the one with the sidecar. The Waagh banner is putting me off a bit though, is the yellow some sort of pattern or are you going to add some text or?

Will enjoy looking at them across the table (maybe not so much when they smash into my lines but you can't get everything)

First off, I LOVE the way you mounted "Nob #1" to the base. Seriously Orky & amazingly funny.

As for your Pain Boy... You have a lot of options for replacing the needle on the syringe.
The first thing that comes to mind is a very small diameter paperclip. Clip it off to size, drill a hole in the syringe, insert.

Another possibility is a stick pin or needle. Heat it up (so the plastic melts), then stick the SHARP END down into the syringe. Then, if using a pin, clip off the tip.

Just thoughts.
