I didnt want to muddy up my nintendo games thread. So is there any?? Im trying to remember but damned if I can think past like 4. Problem is, 2 I really wanted cost like 40 bucks if Im lucky. Infact these two listed are insanely pricey
Chronotrigger
Secret of Mana.

Mesopotamia. The Kingdom Where we Secretly Reign.

Honestly, the Wii download has a lot of great games, including Secret of Mana, and you'll save some cash.

Anyway, Ogre Battle is a good one. Star Fox, Breath of Fire 2, any of the Final Fantasy games, A Link to the Past(naturally), Illusion of Gaia, Donkey Kong Country, F Zero, and Super Ghouls and Ghosts are particular favorites of mine.

Ive got DOOM and Street Fighter 2 turbo on my list so far, and I actually own SuperMario (it really is a fantastic game) So itll be nice being able to play that soon. Ill check out more games on ebay....but like I said, some of these blasted games are around todays prices....I just cant see it for a game that is 20 years old.

As Monster Rain said, Link to the past is amazing.

Super Mario all-stars is awesome, as are Donkey Kong country 1 and 3 (2 isn't as hot). Mario Kart is good (but only in a nostalgic sort of way )

Im not sure how many of these are available through the Wii but they have to be cheaper no? (no idea tbh).
I think you can also get old Sega classics through the Wii too such as Streets of Rage 2 etc?

Super Mario RPG, I still bust that game out every couple years to play through it!

Any of the Contras, Ninja Turtles, or Double Dragons.

Earthbound (maybe. It gets hype from SSBM, but it's not spectacular)
TLOZ Link's Awakening (really great, but too long....)
Yoshi's Island
More stuff I'm forgetting...

Double Dragon was great, as was Contra 2 (or was it three?)

Oooooooh good call on Yoshi's Island, the only bad thing about that game was the stinking baby crying.

Honestly, I was going to say Chrono Trigger and Secret of Mana but I see you've got those covered. I'll second the poster above: Super Mario RPG is on par with those two.

Secret of Mana
By itself you can get it for 30-40 bucks. Thats not too bad, so definitely a bday/xmas present idea. But anything better then just the cartridge and it starts getting pricey

Super Mario RPG
Same thing here, Ive seen just the cartridge go for around $50 bucks or more. But uh.....after that

there was this old batman game on the snes I can't remember the name of the game but it was a lot of fun. Also you could always get the super gameboy and play all your old gameboy games on your snes.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Also any of the romance of three kingdoms games, paperboy 2, and alien vs predator all fun games.

The Adventures of Batman and Robin is a really fun, though difficult, SNES game with a nice style and good animation. I might have missed someone saying ActRaiser, but that game was pretty great at the time.
