Okay so in this picture: Dorn is in the middle of the imperial fists army and looks to be brown haired and clean shaven. BUt then in this picture: he has white hair and a moustache. Which is the real Dorn? Are they both him at different times, or is one just a captain or whatever?

What makes you think the man in the first image is Dorn? (It isn't

Also, the legitimacy of the 2nd image is suspect, its not done in the style of the usual GW artists.

The first image can't be Dorn. The second image looks more like JohnBlanches version of him.

Dorns hair is white or a kind of bleached blonde.

Personally I hate GWs versions of the Primarchs (or Sabertooth Games?).

Also, I don't see a moustache in the second photo. I only see a highlight on his upper lip that appears to be where the light hits. It's clearly darker than the hair on his head.

Also.....why would it matter? As far as I know there aren't many official GW renditions of the Primarchs, only of the Emperor himself. As long as his image loosely fits the descriptions of what is considered cannon then any image could be said to be Dorn.

The man is the first picture is clearly a space marine, maybe even lysander? Probably not, but either way, not Dorn. Especially since he is the same height as the rest of the marines, and this is their post-heresy colour scheme. This is just 1st company.

EDIT: not first company, only the first row have white helmets.

Alright, I can't say i know the fists very well, I always thought that their pre-post heresy scheme

It is an artist interpertation of Dorn. Dorn did not have white hair!
He is not endorsed by GW so hence he is not Dorn.
Imperial Fists are noted on having blonde hair.

No they arent? I have seen them with brown hair more often then blonde

But he also owned a spear and a hammer, the Soul Spear and the Fist of Dorn, so he probably used those too, depending on what he needed for a given situation.

I've yet to see a picture of the imperial fists where Sigismund is there with Dorn.

The top one looks like he may just be a captain, as he is the same size as the veterans behind him.

The main reason why the first cannot be Dorn, is they are wearing newer power armour. They have aquilas too.

He mostly commonly carries the sword of dorn and a storm bolter because they were flexible in boarding actions and sieges. Fist of Dorn was used as a linebreaker. Soul Spear as to beat down everyone to the freakin ground.

It's a captain in power armour with a thunder hammer, those aren't going to be uncommon in the IoM, so I dont think you can really say that it's based on that guy, especially seeing as they're from two completely seperate chapters

plus they never found his body. He wasn't confirmed in being dead. All they found was his hand, and only one imperial fist came back but he bore a body that was not the same size of the Primarch it is rumored he was captured.
