Thunder hammers are rare, and yet there is more than one of them and more than one captain that carries them.

They are rare. Only heroes that prove themselves in combat can use one. Its just in the game people use them all the time. But in the fluff they are rarely seen.

Thats only painted as a Ultramarine the modle itself hasnt got any chapter defineing emblems and I assure you it has everything is the same.

The hammer is the same, chest emblem is the same, the shoulder pauldrons are the same, the pistols holster is the same, the scroll on his left leg is the same, Even the Head is similar only hes in a yelling stance.

It was only one ship dude.

Plus the Gamesday model was fanatastic I gave him a mk8 helmet
Though sadly he broke off his stand he was going to get painted up.

And yes terminators in the fluff = op.

The gigantic U on his shoulder is pretty clear chapter iconography, and have you ever heard of standard equipment? I'm sure that there are hundreds of thunder hammers that look like that, being from the same forge world or what ever

It has a thunderhammer.
It was painted as an ultramarine.
There were only so many of those models out there.....
And thunderhammers in the fluff again. ARE RARE!

My point is proven
Thunderhammers are not mass produced. They are only given to individuals who deserved the entitlement of the thunderhammer.
The pictured Captain is based on the model produced on gamesday, and could be painted anyother color.
SO FOR THIS PICTURE! It was painted as an imperial fist. Using similar traits and then add some imperial fist stuff and boom. And Space marines are not uncommon, They are rare. And Eldar are more common than space marines.

Oh that's a model? Sorry I got confused, I though it was one custom thing, I get it now.

And Asherian Command- Thunder hammers are given to people who have proved themselves in some way, captains have proved themselves. It is not startling for a captain to have a thunder hammer in any way. And there are about a million space marines, the Eldar are no longer that size because they all got eaten in the Fall

There are still quite a few more than a million, squig.

Also, you don't seem to grasp how rare THs are. They are probably 1-3, maybe a bit more in some chapters, with some chapters probably not having any. Obviously there are exceptions like Salamanders where they happen to be a lot more common, but still.

Including Dark Eldar, maybe, but theyre deffinitley not many. And are you saying 1-3 per chapter, or 1-3 at all?

1-3 per chapter, I am not daft enough to think there are 3 in the whole imperium!

And even without dark Eldar, there would still be quite a few million of craftworld eldar.

Ok, 1-3 per chapter I can agree with, overall probably near 3000. And I'm not so sure about there being many millions of CWE, they're very small

Game unit.

Even the most TH heavy chapters (Salamanders for example) would only ever put them all in one squad as a show of force. The same way you won't ACTUALLY see a BA company with 11 dreads in it.

Hey English. Let me tell you something.
I have the Same Index, It says a body that was thought to be Dorn's was recovered. there is still a possibility that Dorn is still alive.

Thunderhammers yes according to every book that has ever had a thunderhammer have always called them extremely rare. Space Marine which is offical canon even said that the Thunderhammer is a very rare artifact of the Space Marines.

Space Hulk rulebook quite specifically states that whole Terminator squads

Wow. You just shot yourself in the foot.
Terminator Squads are extremely rare. It matters on the chapter especially. Ultramarines they used to be able to deploy an entire company of terminators before most of them were destroyed in Tyranic Wars (Read battle of macragge)
Terminators are so rare. Its hilarious when you say that the Space Hulk Rulebook says entire squads of terminators can be equipped. Well no duh. Terminators are the elite of the chapter. Of course they would be given thunderhammers. But it is extremely rare to even have 5 entire squads of terminators with thunder hammers.
Then let us not forget that Dorn has be described in almost every single haircolor. I've always pictured him with a blonde/whitish look. He is still blonde but it is mostly white hair.

Of course a captain can dual-wield thunderhammers.
