In the dark recesses of your mind...

I assume the OP means miniature games. Warhammer Fantasy, Warmachine, Malifaux, Dystopian Wars.

Barely play 40k and Infinity, planning to start barely playing WFB.

Where the sun crosses the field of blood.

Besides 40k, which I haven't played in a long time, it's Fantasy and working on getting an Infinity crowd in my area.
Oh, and might start LOTR sometime in the future. At least it's the next wargame I plan on starting.

40k, WHFB, Tomorrow's War, Urban War, Infinity, Battletech.

Why restrict yourself to one company's stuff and their view of "the hobby"?

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

I'm from the future. The future of space

Warmachine. Gruntz, Blasters & Bulkheads, 5150, FUBAR, Fast And Dirty, etc.,.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better.

Warmachine mostly, tough I do own a small Anima Tactics collection which I would happily play if I had opponents. I'm interested in Relic Knights, but it has been in development for a long time. Infinity has interested me for a long time but I can't get over true line of sight and how much terrain is needed.
I also do not play 40k at all. I quit playing shortly after 4ed and sold the last of my armies almost two years ago. Maybe one day I'll come back.

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

Flames of War, and that's about it right now. I used to play Star Wars Miniatures and Hordes of the Things, but don't have opponents anymore.

I don't really play WH40K all that much anymore either. I only play it with one friend who I got into WH40K now.

I actually don't play 40K anymore, but I might start again, ironically so I have a use for Mantic's Veer-myn.

I currently play only Warmachine, though I am interested in Malifaux and there are others in my FLGS who are also interested.

I also own a Dystopian Wars fleet, but I have yet to find opponents around here (though I have not looked very hard).

I really wish I could find some locals interested in Wargods of Aegyptus, but I'm not having any luck there.

Incidentally, if anyone lives in Los Angeles and plays Dystopian Wars or Wargods, or knows where people play either of those games, let me know!
