It was actually my wife's choice after she drove one followed by a BMW 330d. She preferred the Mercedes, but only just.

2001 Subaru Outback. It's my grandmother's old one when the got the 2013 version, and she is... a absent-minded driver. Think Mr.Magoo. As such two of it's doors are from a Legacy, the sun roof is caulked shut to stop rain leaking in, and it's covered in dings, scrtaches and dents. Can't complain though, because it was a free car, when I have no hope of affording even a used one .

2014 Ford Fusion:

4 cylinder, which is a step down from the V6 Sebring I had before, but it still has some pickup when it needs to, and gets better mileage. It's a nice car.

I test drove a Focus, but it felt like a wind-up clown car by comparison.

We love our Subarus. We need all wheel drive, because we live in the mountains.

I present: Ms. Caroline - 2012 Dodge Challenger SXT/SST+

Purchased with 6k miles as my daily driver (reason for the v6) in March of 2013, currently has 11k (as of yesterday actually) since my commute is roughly 4 miles each way. Have had some head work done, plus a few bolt on parts and such, had it on a Dyno after the head work and she puts down 352 h.p., not too shabby for a lowly V6. As part of the SST+ package she has tuned suspension and I have subsequently added braces front and rear to stiffin up the chassis a bit and for such a heavy car it really hugs the curvy roads here in Washington. She is very comfortable to cruise in and plenty fast enough to get me in trouble and powerful enough to kick the rear end around if desired. Apologies for the poor picture, my wife took it on her Surface tab.. This was just before a big Mopar cruise the car club I am a member of (All Around Mopars) did.

Future plans are 20" viper rims to replace the 20" chrome clads that are on it, 10 PSI supercharger that should get me near 500 h.p. (yes its possible with the 3.6, and they person I know that has done it is putting down 11.7 second 1/4 mile times), coil over kit and I need to find the chin spoiler off a SRT challenger that isn't damaged more for esthetics than actual downforce gains since it widens up the front of the car a bit.

Just picked up a 2014 VW Passat, Wolfsburg Ed. My first VW since my Rabbit in High School. The Passat is absolutely brilliant. A driver's car through & through... and (unbelievably) cheaper to insure than my old Toyota Coralla.

This isn't MY car obviously... but it's the same car.

I have two close friends that have been driving VWs for years and swear by them. I took a very long test drive of several models & was lured by 0% financing and a reasonable price on the 2014s.

I've always wanted a Mustang so I bought one.

It looks cool, it's loud, and it's fast.
