With regards to power flow, I'd say there should be a mix, biased towards non-functional. Most of the lights have been damaged, power lines have been cut, broken or diverted, some doors are operational, some jammed open. That should work for the under-hive and a space hulk in my mind.

Thanks for all the previous comments, needless to say the new board got used a few times over Christmas by myself, Little H and his older brother ( Middle H ?)
Too much food and wine to take pictures so more will come as we use them, but of note is Little H didn't like them too much as he couldn't just stand still and fire alot
The following pics are some of what I did actually do over Christmas, mostly random and for no good reason.....

That first pic is truly epic bud, all look good and I think you beat me for productivity, I aint done squat really. But yeah that Chaos dude is absolutely brilliant.

I've not got much to speak of finished lately but I have been helping Little H fix up some Tau eBay horrors and make up some stuff from bits. I’m surprised how well the Anvil industry bodies work for the Pathfinders and arm parts for the “Drone controller “ work with the Tau.

Thanks MeerCat ! I’m trying to convert stuff and make each piece as individual as possible for Little H but without my usual taking days to remove every mood line and fill every tiny gap !

I had an airbrush fest over the weekend, the house really needs a clean but well, airbrushing right ???
The idea is for me to get a really good start and let Little H fill in the details with a hairy brush.

Thanks mate, that’s a fair comment actually, I’m kinda enjoying the mecha vibe and the scale of the infantry compared to the Mellon headed , super suspicious Imperials. They make a refreshing change.

Your Tau force is looking awesome! I got that same stencil to use on a Tehnolog battle-droid thing (it really looks like one of the killer machines in Terminator 3 movie), but there was so much detail molded onto the piece that I figured it wouldn't look good to airbrush it.

But seeing how you used it here- I may still give it a go- great painting!

Go Go Tau Rangers!!!! looking hawt as hell dude! I now want to re paint the skin of my Tau to be either darker or actually human tones...... you bugger, why do you airbrush so nicely and come up with such cool schemes!!!

I tried a cheap laser cut MDF stencil but it really didn't work unless the area was absolutely pure flat and smooth. These Tau I used 2 different kinds of stencil, the larger mech uses a vinyl stencil with a sticky back, it's fits the model contours really really well, the smaller mecha all use a smaller hexagon on vinyl but without the sticky back, it's workable if you can pinch the stencil tight or use blu-tac to hold it but the edges can be a bit soft.

Little H and I did a couple of hours painting over the weekend. Typically random and in no particular order I did some more to the Tau, Mortarion which Little H is now applying details and a random squad of Camo Marines Little H knocked up from the bits box
Also Little H also built all the Primaris out of the Dark Imperium box.
I suspect I’ll be airbrushing marines again shortly......

I don't like anything Tau... but that looks cool.

Good progress. Looking good.

All has a nice vibe to it bud.
