Noice! Love the flowing Blood Angels insignia. Even though you're following the clients orders, it doesn't yell Blood Angels to me. I would guess a successor chapter if I had to.

Drop pod looks good! I choose almost the same colours when doing my blood angels army. For the actual BA symbols on the exterior of the doors, did you use a stencil to do them?

Thanks! Yeah the client wanted something different than what people always see.

That's really nice OSL on the inside of the drop pod Les. One of the few times that something looks like it's actually glowing, rather than the colour has simply 'spilled' from the source.

Incidentally, how is your IG Golden Demon entry coming along?

A quick question for you good sir. Have you used Artist tube acrylics for miniature painting? I was looking at both the Liquitex and the Daler-Rowney acrylics today and was impressed by the pigment size and color. Are they a viable medium? Also how would you go about uniformly thinning them to be mixable?

thank you

The rhino colours look great and the aging is superb, but the canvas bags look a little flat. I can see that this may be the photo though...

Love it! But I agree with ^. That may be the camo making it look that way, though.

Hey Les,

That drop pod is epic, I really like the glow effects you have going on. The rhino is sweet as well, how did you do the skull on the roof top? Stencil?

Anyway keep up the great work.

Green Stuff! Decided to give it another try and practice on my AoBR terminators and others by adding cloth to them and making them fit with my DA a bit more. I like the idea of having DW terminators with green cloth.

Here's a couple that are still in work. They need some smoothing but I airbrushed them really quick for this picture.

The tabards on the left and centre Terminators look really nice, especially the one on the left, but the right-most tabard just doesn't look very good, as if it's been flattened. It really jumps out at me in a bad way.

I agree. It's funny because the one ont he right was my first attempt and I had the same reaction lol. So I spent a little more time on the other 2. I got 10 more to practice on so I hope I get the hang of it.

It looks as if it either fell, or if you just got a little carried away working with it and ended up going a little too far with the adjustments.

Angels of Absolution WIP. First is a generic HQ I have about 45 minutes of work invested and the second is a terminator with about an hour of work. Using oils I think I can paint my whole army at this standard in a fairly short amount of time. No Airbrush was used yay!

The HQ doesn't look right to me. May just be the lighting, but he looks messy compared to what you usually do.

The Terminator, however, looks absolutely brilliant.

I agree with fafnir on this one, Les. Once the termi's details are painted, I think he'll look fantastic!

The HQ was just started and the blending really hasn't begun because of all the detail where as the terminator has nice empty areas that make it easier.. It's a WIP lol, so have a little hope in me that when finished it will look great I think I was more excited about the bit conversion for him than the paint when I took the pic lol.
