Well dragons have very, very different reasons for being implausible, but this isn't one of them, as it's wings can soften the landing sufficiently and it would likely have the same type of bones as bird.
And the stegadon would die because the tower is eaither thick enough to stop it (which would be like a human sprinting into a tree full force) or the tower is small enough that it breaks the tower...and gets killed by falling rubble.
In this case, "rule of cool" applies. The stegadon is ok, but it is still a dinosaur.
Dragons are frickin' awesome, so no need to elaborate with that.

We can definately agree on the last part. Especially dragon from the Polity novels, have you read them? Dragon is more than a kilometre across and capable of interstellar travel.

I can sympathize with the airsoft (kinda) since i am a huge paintball fan. The other day I was playing and my friend decided to sneak up behind me and empty all his PBs, point blank, into a huge bruise i had from getting hit by a slapshot, taken by this same friend.

That sinking feeling when you realize your favorite units in the Eldar Codex are mediocre at best (Swooping Hawks).
Honestly though, they should work well enough. They seem to be more of a "annoyance" unit, with all those DS grenades and the Exarch's power where they always hit vehicles on 2+.

Opponent cries to the judge who rules I can't bounce them back up anymore (was going by time limit, not turn limit and they automatically come on). I listen to them, the enemy Grey Knight Terminators slaughter the lot in one turn of stormbolter fire. -.- This was when they were Daemon Hunters though. When you change your army's scheme twice, stripping and redoing the entire thing.

Yeah, I don't get the finecast hate. I had a problem with the head of a farseer, but I showed it to the guys in my local GW and they gave me a new farseer just like that! I definately prefer it to metal, it's easier to work with, and doesn't weigh a ton!
