Something big.
I can’t quite put my finger on it.
Not in public at any rate.
General Hobbs wrote:
So I got 2 of these. They are quite big....as big as the Abrams tanks I have in my pics. Much bigger than a 40K Chimera.
Question, are the windows in the toy open or is there clear plastic sealing them? I can't tell from the pics on Amazon.
Also can you take a picture with a mini for scale?

Thanks for letting us know. I'm always looking for new civie vehicles for my city, but that's probably too big.
Would you be willing to measure the width? Automatically Appended Next Post: General Hobbs wrote:

I found a picture on Amazon with some minis for scale. Looks good to me.
Also spotted, new Avatar toys.

Thanks for that!
Oh, that does look good. Will probably pick it up. Would look great in my 28mm Sci Fi City.
The 5"+ action figures are a bit big to fit with his SW/Halo/etc figs, but he bought the space pickup to add to his 1:16 action figure play. It's a pretty cool toy.

Not toys as such, but if you like the Avatar aircraft, there is a vendor out there with a pretty close facsimile, and available at a range of scales.

Oh yeah that ATV is like GI Joe levels of stupid.
Wasn't the atmosphere on Planet Avatar poisonous or something? And wasn't Planet Avatar filled with hostile predators and such? Why would you go out in an open topped ATV?
Hopefully there will be better stuff coming along.

I'm considering working on that https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B2LGMKCK/
I could crush that out and know it would look good. However I'd have to make a plan to cut it down in terms of size. I'd want a new crane as well

Hello beautiful, where have you been hiding? You look like a dame I used to know back in the Carter administration...
The mere existence of this Chinese toy makes me happy.
Oh and the Lightyear shuttles we were talking about are apparently on clearance at Target. Automatically Appended Next Post: Update - It seems there's a new line of Star Wars ships Micro Galaxy Fleet, as opposed to Mission Fleet.
Mission Fleet has 2.5 inch figures vs Micro Galaxy with 1" figures.

Bought some here in Canada! Only 2$ for a pretty long snake creature, and 4,50$ for a winged dragon (we see it a bit in that picture behind the Trex.
Once cut in section and glued down, just the snake gives me some decent element for a table! I was loosely considering that new AoS terrain for a similar look, but at 70$ versus 2$, choice is simple now! Still have a whole dragon to cut up and glue down!

Skywave,
Those Bone dinos look great! Just the thing for a skyrim'ish dragon boneyard.
KidKyoto
The Mission Fleet stuff has alot of good potential for 28mm use.
"Micro galaxy fleet" is not as usefull, but is pretty much a continuation of the "Micro Machines Action Fleet" from the 90's. In my opinion one of the coolest toy lines ever as many of the ships were pretty close to scale and there were packs of figures from Micro machines as well. The figures were (and the new ones appear to be) generally close to 1/72 with the vehicles being that scale or smaller. There's alot of potential crossover between these two toy lines and various star wars 1/72 model kits both the classics and the newer Bandai.

There is of course only one reason for Avatar 2 to exist and that's the toys.
McFarlane Toys will make a $20 Scorpion gunship, can't find a size for it yet but it should work for some games.
So far only preorder at Game Stop.
https://www.gamestop.com/collectibles/figures/products/mcfarlane-toys-disney-avatar-world-of-pandora-at-99-scorpion-gunship-action-figure/351649.html
Oh and is Avatar now owned by Disney? Gamestop seems to think they are. Cause that means MORE TOYS!

The $15 much had promise.
The $40 version looks like it might be a reissue of the 3.75" action figure toy from the last movie. I got one sans f5un from a resale shop. Cool toy but not ideal for Wargaming
