Because they're stupid and everyone hates them! They're stupider than the stupid space dwarves that everyone hated and they're more hated than the stupid Genestealer cults that are so stupid! And just becasue you can still find the stupid bad space elfs on ebay it doesn't mean we hate them any less. They're stupid too. Those stupid lists are gone so why shouldn't LOTR go the same way? I say good riddance to bad rubbish...bad stupid rubbish!

There we go, I have my answer!

they're ugly and their momma dressed them funny!

That and they lost the damned rules.

Ahem.

Well, anyone who still wants the Lost and the Damned need only go into cryogenic suspension until 40999 when they will reappear.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Sorry I'm late to the show.

Here is what I did to voice my concern, just so I can put in my street cred about "standing up to be noticed".

First, I signed an online petition. I realized this would have little to no effect on GW, so I did the next best thing I could. I wrote them a letter. However, I included more than just my polite scribblings, I also included a used IG sprue to demonstrate that I had put my money where my mouth was. In addition, I encourage other angry posters at various forums to do the same.

Could I have done more? Sure, I could have sent E-mails day in a day out with a different picture of boxes/blisters I had bought for my LaTD army. I could have sent more letters accompanied by more sprues. I could have made a youtube video and tried to make it viral in the GW online community.

However, I instead came to a realization. I simply don't want to spend my money on GW games. The LaTD was what brought me back to 40K, and without them I simply left the GW fold (at least in regards to making them additional money). So to summarize. I did the only thing that matters to GW. I stopped buying, and they will never know why, because their marketing /sales data will never tell them.

Thanks GW, because of you I am really good at creating my own support. I guess you didn't want my money. Thanks. I'll keep it for myself and your competition.

He stated that Easy E just put down the first sensible post on this thread. So the others are probably not sensible and as long as "other" means any post before Easy E, his own posts are included.
In short:
Good guess.

LatD...do you already know what this summer campaign will be? Maybe a LatD comeback? Together with the demon 'dex?

On the topic 'Wich bases are supplied with my Terminators and how could I abuse it'...after turning into a debate on english language and the meaning of the word 'supply'.

GW emplyoees (and I don't meen redshirts) have stated several times that there won't be such a thing as sub- or campaign lists anymore. and since LatD never were a "normal" GW army, I'll doubt they get redone (if ever) before Necrons, Torture Eldar and Space Puppys.

Yes, I do include my own posts. Mostly because I was stupid enough to get hooked on some of the meanigless drivel people type to induce flame wars, and I should know better!

In my opinion, Easy E has hit the nail on the head.

How has he "hit it on the head"? All he's done--and I daresay all he intended to do--is describe his own situation and the decisions he's made. It doesn't invalidate what anyone else has said.

I think JohnHwangDD may actually be the resident of a weird Pleasantville-esque alternate reality where, instead of a 1950's sitcom, everything is like a 1980's underdog movie. It's obvious to anyone in 80's Movieland that the only way to save the LatD (and the youth center!) is for LatD players to band together and win the big tournament! Forget your petitions and letters - what we need is a MONTAGE!

~Cue scenes of LatD players assembling, converting, and painting mutants late into the night interspersed with shots of White Dwarf covers reading "New All-Daemon Codex Announced!" and "Baltimore Grand Tournament Biggest Ever! Special Studio Guest: Jervis Johnson".~
~Cue shot of Jervis yelling angrily at Alessio Cavatore - Jervis wordlessly mouths "NO MUTANTS" and rips up what appears to be a rough draft of a page from the upcoming daemon codex while a turgid synth launches into a spastic run over the driving guitars and electronic drums in the background.~
~Cue scenes of LatD players using their "counts as" armies in practice games against progressively more difficult opponents.~
~Cue shot of Tom Kirby throwing handfuls of money into the air while laughing maniacally.~
~Fade into shot of a pair of tumbling dice coming up box cars and an ecstatic LatD player in a tank top and short shorts pumping his fist into the air before jumping into the waiting arms of his similarly attired teammate in a totally manly and not-in-any-way-gay celebratory embrace while his crestfallen Tyranid opponent removes the final dakkafex from the table.~

I never really liked sub / campaign lists anyway. They always seemed like a gimmick, especially if they were released alongside a campaign booklet.

Don't forget that the LatD players have to be a ragtag bunch of misfits. We're all miniature gamers here, so I think we've got that covered, but it never hurts to check. Some of us could be a little more ragtag.

Let's be honest.

If you play Lost and the Damned, you are the gayz.

If you play any of the following armies, you are the gayz:

Imperial Guard
Squats
Kroot Mercs
Tau
Eldar
Dark Eldar
Craftworld Eldar
Ulthwe Strike Force
Dark Angels
Eldar
Necrons (in the closets)
Tyranids
Blood Angels (proud of it)
Lost and the Slammed (get it, get it!?!??!?)
Eldar
Daemons (yes, even Khorne)
Chaos Space Marines (except Alpha Legion)
Ultramarines
Armored Company
Black Templars
Eldar

The only way to not be a raving homosexual and play Warhammer is to play the following armies:

Orks
Feral Orks
Kult of Speed
Space Wolves
Salamanders
13th Company

Sorry. But that is a fact.
