This Greenstuff is pretty much like industrial strength chewing gum (and looks like candy, keep kneadatite away from children and animals) and is a lot of fun to mess around with. I have color shapers and some metal tools, the plastic stuff needs too much lubrication for my tastes (ewwwww....). I do not have a table clamp ( ) and that will make this project take quite a bit of time. I need to get one so I can work on the other side of a piece while my previous work dries.

I think I'll let the GS on the head cure before I mess it up, I keep having to smooth out fingerprints (D'oH! ).

Started work on the torso, this GS is taking a lot out of me! Hard work when your medium shouts back at you, and acts like stale gum .

I am all out of sun for today, I will post better pics tomorrow along with pics of the full model WIP.

By pockets do you mean the ones on the head? Those are going to be eyes, and I can't decide whether to use GS for them or not (seems like a waste ). I may stop by the bead store to see what I could find, something along the lines of a "blind" eye, with cataracts basically. I would have to tape the eyes during painting but it may end up being worth it. I am not a fantastic painter, especially doing a huge eye well.

I am thinking of adding some sort of mechanical arm coming out of the "demon zit" I just finished. The main "rip" in the back will either be a huge mouth (meh...) or an insane amount of intestine tentacles tearing some imperial guard units into easily digested pieces (). Over the next couple of days I will finish the skin, then move onto the external details (eyes, tentacles, assorted texture, etc...). At some point I will have to make the weapon arm, but waiting may prove beneficial.

Yes their will be large tentacles at some point.

I will be adding assorted goodies to make friends with all the SM and IG I can find. For now I think just tentacles would be good, but as I work on the project I may elaborate further on the "extra" arms. Heh.

Current progress.

So far so good, this GS is pretty cool stuff, confirming most of my research. C&C welcome.

There are a few things I wanted some feedback on specifically. Mainly the arms and other assorted appendages. I am loving the hand, but I am not sure how it should be aesthetically connected to the body. Perhaps the arm should be flabby at the shoulder, then diseased muscle and sinew for the rest? The intestine tentacles could be really simple or the could have a few assorted demonic heads at the end of each main tentacle. So far the tentacles will be coming out of the main wound on the back, and the gaping hole in the front. I was thinking of adding some erupting tentacles that would be popping out "as needed". Should wire be used for the tentacles? I would rather not use my GS for them besides the detail, perhaps string or twine instead?
