Okay, now finished with Grey Hunter MotW models
Pics:
Some close-ups
Did the blood effect and reddish eyes to give the image of battle brothers that are lost in the instability of Canis Helix and just rage on.
I also tried a bit different approach to the power armor weathering to explore other methods.
And some WIPs
Another pack of Fenrisian Wolves and Vindicator. Had to sand the Vindicator a bit as it got some crap stuck on it while drying after priming, luckily no major disaster.
Let me know what you think.

Great looking blood spatters on the hunters. The weathering on these guys looks a bit more focused than on the previous batches, I like it a lot.
Looking forward to what you can achieve with that Vindicator, a whole tank should give nice canvas for weathering.

Sort of small update, finished second unit of Fenrisian Wolves. But big update in the sense that now my army is finished! For 1750 points that is. Still more new stuff to come in near future. This also makes Red Wolves my 10th finished army during my hobby career so far (plus many unfinished armies ), in a way milestone marker too I guess

Great natural looking wolves. They look much better with the ears/ horns left out than built out of box and the basing is great as I've come to expect.
Are the bases painted with acrylics or pigments? The muted colors complement the wolves really well.

Metsuri: Thanks. The bases are painted with acrylics. Now and then I add some finishing touches with MIG pigments like dust and burn marks. I used to also use their rust but it was a bit too reddish for my taste (maybe should try some other shade from them), so now I do the rust with diluted Vermillion brown.

The army looks great as a whole. So understated, but full of small things to catch the eye. The colors work so well together.
The vindicator is also looking great. The weathering brings the large flat areas to life. The tracks look a bit too clean on the last pic, but that is the only thing that looks out of place on the whole piece. Looking at it makes one itch to have a go at doing some weathered armor.

Magnificient army, it was nice to see them in flesh. Hopefully some day I'll get to face them also. Waiting to see what you'll do with the dreads as they're my favorite marine models.
By the way, I've always wondered what's the point with the shell and the winch on the back of the vindicator. I've also have one for my chaos army and didn't get the logic behind it as it can't lift the shell anywhere it would be in use. In the end I left it out.

I guess GW took inspiration for those parts from Sturmtiger without thinking if it would actually work. They look a lot like each other:

Thanks people,
PDH: Logan Wing is tempting, but for now I will do some other stuff. I am thinking of some more GH's, Dreadnoughts, Vehicles and some scouts. After that I think it's time for some termies. Or that's the plan for now at least.
Jamo: Thanks, it was nice meeting you too. I haven't quite gotten the shell idea behind the Vindicator neither, but that's 40k for you. Aimlessly drive around with big shell on your trunk
Metsuri: Yep, they might have put some more effort in the winch design thou.
grrrfranky: Thanks, ended up using just normal SM legs for the riders. Cut away from the groin piece and glue back on twisting them a bit farther apart, with some additional true-scaling they make good riding legs.

Ok, so some more finished stuff here.
First off a patch of 6 Grey Hunters. I built them few months ago already, but only now got the time to put some paint on them. These guys now done I have 4 squads of ten Grey Hunters finished, which I think should be solid amount of troops. Now I just have to do some more transport and special weapon options for them.
Pics:
Next up is the Contemptor Dreadnought. When it was released I just knew that I had to have one
Pics:
Magnetized the arms so I can swap if needed (looking out fort the 6ed)
Have to say I really like the kit, hopefully in the future I can add few more of these to the army. One of the best features IMO was that you could pose the legs and arms so freely. Takes some amount of pinning as I wanted to be sure of the joints as this one is for gaming purposes.
Anyways, comments are always welcome.

Nice additions, especially the contempor hits the spot. The small modelling touches make it fit well among the rest of the wolves. Again love the bases, it is nice to see you continue to spend time in making them characterful and fitting to the rest of the army.

Finished up few dreadnoughts. Second one is the dread from AoBR box, on this I wanted to try how much you can achieve the wolfy image by just using the army's painting scheme and some other 2D-elements. So I just painted wolf type markings and used a few transfers without doing that much 3D conversions. Let me you what you think.
Also painted an extra assault cannon that I had laying around for the other
Next up some Wolf Guard leaders for m GH squads. Here is a WIP shot from them, still in the middle of getting more bulkier. Armed with power fists and combi meltas. Magnetized the arms as I want to have the option of using other equipment on them as well, as the WG have a tons of options.
Comments are always welcome.

The dreads are looking great. The AoBR one fits with in well the paint job you've given it. If one starts to pick it apart the human skulls and lack of wolf skins/ tails can be seen as things that set it different to the other dreads, but those are minor issues in my opinion. On the table top it clearly belongs amongs the other wolves.
The wips look promising, cannot wait to see them finished. The magnetized arms are great idea, one that I would steal if I would be in progress of building army for 40k.

Hi mate
The dreads look good...unsurprisingly. The AoBR dread on closer inspection only looks a little out of place because of the normal skull on the sarcophagus. But that is only on real close inspection....the paint job ties it in perfectly with the rest of your army. I like the chainfist on the other dread...I imagine the wolf inside loves it.
I'm a little confused with the Wolf Guard though....are they in terminator armour or power armour? They looks different to the other power armoured marines.
I like to see that great minds think alike...that is exactly how I made my combi weapons.

Metsuri: Thanks, feel free to use the magnets. Might come handy as the edition change is looming over us.
PHD: Thanks, the WG will be power armors. I have also used bits from termie armors also to properly beef them up. I always felt the basic bolter chassis was too small for proper combi weapons (even thou I made one for these guys) , that's why I tried the storm bolter. IMO works quite well, I think there's some more room for exploration in this concept.
