AFAIK, it is exactly to scale. Based on nearly 25 years of fluff/gaming/literature comparisons, it is a representation of the Epic Emporer Titan.

I was looking through the gallery and a picture from this thread came up. Your build is simply amazing. Is there any news?

When it gets done I'd be very tempted to play a kill-team game in the city on its back. If the kill team win then they disable the titan and it can't be used in an upcoming battle.

Nice work. My only concern would be the amount of weight you are putting on that pvc crossbar between the hip joints. It looks like it is already bending. Perhaps you should replace it with something wooden and thicker. Like a piece of closet rod.

48" for a warlord!!!!

Seeing as it should be no bigger than 24-26" i'd say yeah it's waaaay too big.

I know, it is now an oversized Imperitor instead of a double sized warlord, it already had the Imperitor-type feet and I hadent figured out the back, so it was relatively easy to up the size of the main weapons and add a castle.

It has, however set me back $170+ for all those bastions. I'm way too lazy to build the entire thing out of plasticard. They will be the lower, non-pointy secctions of the spires. The agis defence lines will line the platform, and I've just started work on the helstorm with some 3/4 inch, 11" long PVC pipes.

Good you fixed the open space and nakes facades on the back (with windows and streets). Details on the pyramids at the top of the houses, maybe some rivets or pans?

Need more paint to bring out the details. It looks a bit plain, I know it's a big model but you'll get there.

It's only Basecoated Atm, and test Dry brushing of roof Plate as far as I have gotten. Needs a lot of fiddly bits here and there, Hips, Arms, and Bling, Then the Painting Blog starts I hope. I am getting Morning Stars Titan College Banners embroidered onto cloth. All of the roofs of each tower is just the base. I am hoping to have a hot swappable weapon mount, but we'll have to wait and see. I am getting my hands on these strange Ww1 turrets, so Volcano Cannon, 3xBarreled Turbo laser, or Vortex Missile 'nose' etc- with an option for a few diff combos.

well the good thing is about the massive board needed, you could have killteam games going on ontop of the titan during the game!

now that i think about it, that would be awesome just a small task force dropped in to blow up the titan, you could lose control of guns or mobility depending on who controls objectives and stuff

while the main apoc game goes on below
this way a standard squad might actually do something rather that being shot at by a gun whose barrel is the size of a tank

I wonder if you could use it as your display board for your army when you enter tournaments
