Wow that tank looks really awesome!

The real threat to the imperium is not:

it is :
92% of teens have moved on to rap. If you are one of the 8% who still listen to real music, copy and paste this into your sig.
95% of teens would go into a panic attack if the jonas brothers were about to jump off the empire state building copy and paste this if you are the 5% who would pull up a lawn chair grab some popcorn and yell JUMP BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GENERATION 6: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment.

An updated front view. Repainted the girl, decided to give her a relatively clean bodytight suit to contrast blood and dirt. The eyes are epic fail so I'll fix them next.

And something completely different.
A 'rough rider' prototype.
The squad will consist of 9 bionic-enhanced giant rats and a human controlling them and riding a motocycle.

the command chimera looks awesome, has a very "mad max" feel to it.

this thread makes me wish GW would actually put out a chem-dogs range. i'm sure they would be more popular than some of the other random guard ranges they do...like those guys dressed up as bellhops

Ah, but seeing how they covered up the daemonettes in favor of the hideous new plastics, what makes you think GW has the BALLS to make the Chem Dogs?

The writing says 'For Lil' Girl and Salamander'. It's an easter egg/inside joke, basically the commissar depicts a friend of mine, whose diorama (a salamander marine reading a holy book to a little refugee girl on Armageddon) was horribly underrated on 2008 Games Day competition despite being very cool. This year, I put this monstrosity partly as an act of revenge on GD judges ^^
Speaking of which, it of course didn't win anything, but got some attention and nice comments. I'll put up pics when I get them.

And as for GW making Chem-dogs... PLEASE NO.
I gave up on orks for one reason. GW loved them all of sudden.
You know, when you spend a few years converting one set of plastic orks into tons of unique stuff and do crazy scratchbuilt models, then suddenly they release tons of sweetest plastic and all you need is pay pay pay. And even if you still put lots of work in conversions, nobody will care, as to non-orks scratchbuilt stuff and lamely converted GW plastic looks all the same.
Trust me, I had my reasons to quit greenskins and gor for an IG regiment that doesn't have a single official model.
BTW, here's my old orkyness. Now collecting dust.

DO you have pics of that diorama of your friends?

The pen is mightier then the sword, but you must keep a sword handy for when the pen runs out of ink.

They stay alive because Japanese people love seeing a rainbow's assortment of hair colours, people with animal ears, wings, or tails, clothes that even a blind guy wouldn't wear, and cookie-cutter angsty teenage-hero characters that all have some life-shattering unique, heartfelt sad soppy story.

Likewise, many people in the West are slowed to some degree, and they think that the storylines and characters are actually of a decent quality. Generally, these people are in the 12-16 bracket and/or are the same crowd that think the Twilight movies are the best films ever produced/books ever written.

Tau shield drone with a smile painted on it, as far as I can see. Finally one of those pizza-trays has found something useful to do in the 40k universe other than delay the manslaughter of the Tau on countless battlefields

I too would like to see the diorama - I enjoy the more thoughtful explorations of the 40K universe that don't necessarily involve mass carnage. I hear you on ork plastic - now every truck looks the same, and a "cool ork conversion" is sticking a couple of bitz on the stock model. Propa' ork trucks are toys with plasticard on them! Time was, every battlewagon was unique. Now they bore me. Keep the faith though - your ork stuff is great.
