(Fun fact: Funnelweb spiders are very aggressive and will latch on to you with their fangs. They can swim across water with ease and will actively chase you if you piss them off. Oh, and their venom is fatal to a fully-grown man in less than an hour.)

Excuse me fellow posters, but the Funnel Web, whilst similar and shares many alike traits, is not to be confused with our women.

There is hope. Every person has inside them the potential to want to help others if they can. The world isn't fair so we lose our way sometimes and get unnecessarily angry or greedy or close ourselves off from time to time because we are tired of that same behavior in those around us. There are those moments of helping a little old lady carry her groceries, or calming down an angry fight waiting to happen, or whatever, that snap us back into the truth, and we realize that our actions can be good, but they are not always necessarily good at the same time. That would be the problem of society. Complications of other people's bad day become yours and all of a sudden perspective is lost.

I don't agree with communism as a political force, but I do agree with commune-like caring about ones neighbor, or a stray cat, or someone who has had a bad day... lots of people have bad days lots of the time (sorry I can't quote statistics here, I just assume) and lots of the time its because someone else had a bad day and the cascade begins.

Retroactively applied infallability is its own reward. I wish I knew this years ago.

Germanic people honestly I think of the Huns or Goths or etc.

Vikings are the tall bright haired and eyed invaders from the north in their own category really.

The Hun's were not German, the Huns were from Mongolia, they got tired of trying to break down his gakky wall, and then decided to try and kill some Romans....

And the Vikings are descendants of our Lumberjacks. In the not so far future, we developed a time machine, took it to L'Anse Aux Meadows in Newfoundland. After arriving in the past we realized how bad ass the Natives truly are, and we decided we didn't want to share our beer with them, and then sailed across the ocean in Long Boats and took over Scandinavia, over the generations forgetting what happened, and the cycle repeats....

Awesome theory there. But there is one problem.... Vikings are far superior to lumberjacks.

And I'm probably a goth descendant.

The Dear Abby column in the paper. I read this when I need to laugh at the stupidity of others.

"Dear Abby: My husband beats me, is that physical abuse? What should I do?"

"Dear Abby: My Children have gained weight steadily since we bought a Computer/Satellite TV. Do you know what might be causing this?"

"Dear Abby: My Stepmother is very rude to us when we visit. Should I ask her to stop being so rude?"

All three of these are simplified versions of real letters I've read in that column. If slowed questions like these won't kill your faith in humanity, I don't know what will.

Live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about his religion. Respect others in their views and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life. Beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and of service to your people. When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home.

Royal Marines are fething nuts - did anyone see that picture of them flying out to retrieve the body of a fallen comrade where they were strapped to the wings of one of those things?
