Tex Mex is a style of mexican food. Basically Northern Mexico peasant food with the addition of a Texas sized amount of cheese and more meat. It should not be confused with anything that comes out of a Taco Bell or other fast food place. Spiced Queso is required. Fajitas, carne asada, enchiladas, and tacos are the staples. Fajitas are the penultimate. Ideally there will be a mariachi band playing and margaritas will be served that will make you question what planet you are on halfway through the first one.

Well I cook a mean chilli and I have been tempted recently to try a huevos rancheros recipe that I saw online although that idea has been vetoed by the missus thus far.

Well, to be fair to BP (which is something I never thought I'd have to say...) Halliburton have been implicated in the current fiasco too.
