We are working on this as we don't like it, either. Please use the report button when you see it. Same goes for substituting "gay" for "lame."

And "raping" armies, tanks and so on.

Teenage slang up with which we will not put.

So would be making unsupported allegations.

There was no aggression, passive or otherwise, in the post.
I was simply sharing my opinions.

As we know, no one is perfect and there are times when our emotions or rhetoric get the better of us. And we have moderators to help mediate the worst things that may be said.

But I want to know how others feel about how you are treated on the forum/how others are treated on the forum.

If this is more a General Discussions thing, please move it there. As always, I place it in OT if it doesn't fit in other forums.

Personally I have felt nothing but acceptance, encouragement and support from members of the site I have talked to. As long as you can be as polite to people as you would like to be treated and can admit faults. Or at least agree to disagree. Then you get on with 99% of the people here fine. A fair few other hobby sites could really learn a thing or two about fostering a friendly community.

Admittedly I'm human and have the odd moment were i pause and ask myself. "Was I harsh or coming across as belligerent?" If I cant 100% say no then i do my best to rectify the situation. And am quite happy to be called out on things if I'm proven wrong. It helps you become better in the hobby I feel if you can do such things.

Lastly. Dakka is a fun community to be a part of. Met some awesome people via this ( My Dark heresy group and some others). Only wargaming/rpg hobby site I've actually enjoyed over the years.

Dakka is the only forum I have enjoyed posting on simply because of the community, it is civil without being uptight with plenty of humour as well as a unifying hobby.

Its like a big anonymous warhams family

A strange place

I really like Dakka. This was the first forum I have ever logged into. And i haven't even regret it once.
Everyone is very polite to each other. I have to admit that sometimes there are heated discussion.
But these never last really long, or get out of control.

Also i like the fact that there is a great deal of humour on this forum. Dakka has given me some great funny moments.
I like people who don't always take themselves seriously.
