You know, as blasphemous as this may seem, I haven't actually read Titanicus. Is it good? I am currently reading the Firedrake series, and the newest Dresden files.

It is a pretty intense story, especially getting a titan's perspective on grimdark warfare!

Have read and enjoyed Titanicus very much - but then most of Dan Abnett's stuff is really good - he is the Godfather of Warhammer fiction!

Yep! I am a fan too! Except I can't seem to follow "embedded" it just lacks the 40k background I want it to have.

I plan on carpet bombing Dakka Dakka with photos sometime this week: the titan, my existing tau army and some more hawk lords pics, along with some imperials from my vostroyan project, and some dark angels as well if I can swing it.

It is good (as everyone else already said). The subplots are very interesting as well. My only gripe is that it seemed to have a rushed ending. There was so much to wrap up with only a few pages left that I almost was expecting a "to be continued..."

Ok, so Titanicus is read...did I miss a prequel or something? I found that it was missing character development, especially with Adept Feist. Great plot otherwise; would love to see the characters evolve more.
On another note, it mentioned that only titans of warlord class or above are equipped with "casket" princeps, so I think I am safe not installing one. Even if I wanted to, the cockpit is way to small to give it the attention it would deserve. I was very interested in how each titan had a personality that manifested in its princeps. Perhaps my princeps needs an irish cane or something?

Ok Ok! I know, I have been slacking a bit. With relatives staying over all week, car payment problems, and working as much as I am, I am making slow progress. Hopefully this will appease all you riveters. It is only about half done, but heres what I have been up to.

Ok, I am done one of the interior detail pieces. Next up: the other one, followed by the remaining interior detail. After that, I need to figure out this darn wiring so I can put this bugger together properly. Also have to weather the armor plates.

so, spamming with pictures didn't end up happening... I was banking on my relitives that came for the week bringing a high quality camera, but they decided that the space was better used to carry an obcene amount of baked goods. The good news is that my stomach is now full, and I am content to paint for hours on end. The bad news is that I am still stuck with a phone camera. Sorry guys! My blurry photos will have to do until I can get some quality shots in sometime down the road. Maybe I can borrow a friends camera or something

THe pics WITHOUT the flash look great, the flash is gak. turn it off, and get a daylight bulb, they really work.
Most of my earlier WIP pics were done with an old 1.7 MP Blackberry camera, no flash, daylight bulb
